Carter's story finally.
As an ardent Trident Security fan I have waited for Carter's story for a long time. Samantha Cole did not disappoint it was everything I expected and more. Carter has always been so involved in so many of the other books and we knew so little about him. This book involves suspense, mystery and with a strong basis of brotherhood and family.
Carter has always been in the background and I loved how this book covered all areas of his life. We get to see how is was raised and why control is so important to him, his family as well as his government service. He has had a great career but not much of a family life. It is nice to see him finally get his own HEA and with such an amazing independent woman that he has cared about for years. Jordyn has reason to not give into her feelings for Carter. He has his job cut out to make her totally trust him. As with all of the books in this series BDSM is part of this book but not as much as some of the others. You will love the characters and want to see them succeed and solve the mystery of who is killing agents.
This book will grab your attention and you won't be able to put it down. And wait for it....we finally find out Carter's first name. Love it when a strong alpha finds the one woman for them because they fall so hard. you will completely fall in love with this book.

I've waited, impatiently, for Carter's story. Come on, long blond hair, muscular, tall, dominant and a spy. What's not to love? The sexual tension between Carter and Jordyn was off the charts and one night of shared passion had left Carter wanting more and Jordyn pissed off. He could not figure out what he did that has her so angry, and it bothers him more than he wants to admit.
I just knew Carter would be a great H, the glimpses we got of him in the other Sexy Six Packs books was of a cocky and confident man.
All through the series I wondered what kind of woman was going to win his heart, what her personality would be like, what her profession was, her looks and on and on. The guy intrigued me plain and simple.
In his book we get the same suspense, action and the hot sex we've all come to expect in Samantha Cole's books. The H/h worked well and I was able to connect with them. Good flow with interesting secondary characters.
The serial killer is still on the loose with no leads, Deimos agents are under attack, Carter is frustrated with Jordyn's cold shoulder and his foster sister's family is in crisis.
Another must read.

Oh Carter, Carter, Carter, I have had very high expectations for you and you exceeded them by far!!! This book is a part of a series and while you could read this book as a standalone, I believe the reader will enjoy it so much more if you read the series. FYI, the whole series is AMAZING!!! I have been very impatiently waiting for Carter's book and it was well worth the wait. Simply amazing honestly! I truly have loved all the characters and previous books, but Carter has held a special place in my heart. I love Ms. Cole's writing style. It draws you in and you just can't help but sit and keep turning the pages. Better clear the day because I guarantee once you start you will not be able to put it down! Highly, highly recommend this series! Can't wait to see what is next. Easily a 5 AMAZEBALLS read for me!!

Love the sexy six pack , while each book can be read as a standalone it is much better to read them as a series to get the full Alpha male experience

3.5 stars. It was good but I wasn't as intensely invested in the characters or plot but it could be because I haven't read any other books in the series. But I was enjoyable, lots of action and a sweet romance.

If you are a fan of the Trident Security team, then you along with the rest of us, are feeling the relief. Master T Carter has been like a dangling yoyo, just when you reach out to catch him, he is yanked from my grasp, but Absolving His Sins is the perfect book and storyline for a character that plays such a big role in nearly every book in this series, but constantly remains a ghost everywhere else. But this master in the bedroom, has met his match with fellow black ops team member Jordyn Alvarez.
As the operative who trained Jordyn, she constantly puts on a pissed off face towards the man that is God’s Gift to women but hard ass trainer. Together they have trained and survived some of the toughest cases. There mutual feelings of utmost respect, are outweighed by feelings of lust, giving in was never a smart option, but adrenaline played the card right? After discovering Carter is a Dom, Jordyn is disgraced by his abuse of women... This has her hiding out, far away from the man who can and has done so much damage to her in one night.
When it is discovered both Carter and Jordyn are targets, they run for their lives, never afraid to stand their ground and face the battles head on, a mole in the Deimos group has them hiding out. I Loved this book, it was so worth that wait... and hello the ending - if you been following the Trident Security stories, you’ll understand when I say that bloody submissive murderer is at it again. Now Carter has a name, I’m hanging out to discover who this serial killer is. Bring it Samantha Cole. You rock!!!!

Hmmmm...I am going to come back to reviewing this one later but for not hesitantly putting it at 4 stars.
I was desperate to read Carter's story since we were first introduced to him, like come on it is Master Carter damn!! But I think that meant that my exceptions were a little too high and whilst overall I really enjoyed reading this there were more than a few moments that didn't quite reach where I wanted them to.

This is the book I was waiting for ever since first meeting Carter!
It definitely helped reading "Jack be Nimble" before starting this one. It gave a deeper insight into Jordyn and Carter's past and their overall dynamic.
I love Carter. Nothing more to add.
Jordyn is great as well and I love that they found their way back to each other.
I loved their suspense plot and that they were forced working together again.
However, I'm a bit disappointed as well. I was sure, Carter's book will bring back the spice to a top notch level. But to me it did not live up to my expectations. If that would have been the case, this book would have been easily my favorite read in this series. Hence it only came close second.

What can i say Mr. T Carter is the man!!!! i love every book of trident security series but Carter has my heart .. he is pure hotness walking in leather pants .. i wanted to be Jordyn in every single scene so i could see those beautiful gorgeous blue eyes ... Carter is the man every woman wants in their bed, house in every single aspect.. why? because he is a gentleman but still he is rough when he needs to be and he is always protecting what he loves with all his power and strenght .. Absolving His Sins is the story of Carter a guy who suffer a lot on his childhood but used that courage now to serve his country or better say he works for the president .. a few years ago he met Jordyn the love of his life .. he didn't know it was the love of his life but still he felt something very strong for her, something he never felt for any other woman.. Jordyn also comes from a very difficult childhood specially what she lived with her father (I'm not giving spoilers) their path crosses at some point and Jordyn starts to train and work for the government too ..and thats when the story between carter and Jordyn starts..
i love Jordyn she is always so strong but still she can be feminine and gentle when he is around Carter or better say in his bed ... i think she is one of the characters that i love from the series because she is the whole package.. she has a very sexy latina body but also she can be strong and can fight anyone who crosses wrongly in her path.. the chemistry of Carter and Jordyn is off the charts she fights it a lot because she has some wrong ideas about Carter but whenever he is around her body always bretrays her and makes her feel alive ...
the story is suspenseful i love it because you never know who is going to be the bad guy or what plan they have in order to escape from this two professional black ops.. a lot of the gorgeous men from trident security appear in this book .. so you won't miss anything that has been going on with them ..

A Trident Security Series story based on Carter, he is our elusive spy, he flits in and out often when he is needed the most. He is hot and sexy, extremely secretive about who he works for and where he goes. Carter is a Dom that all the Sub’s love often begging for a chance to scene with him when he is around, but there is only one woman that has his heart and is always in his head.
Jordyn was trained by Carter, they had one night together after training finished. Hating him in one way while still having feelings for him in another, he is still in her head but coming from an abusive family she fights it all the way.
Wow! I have been waiting for this story for so long and it didn’t disappoint in any way at all, I love Carter and hated thinking he was alone because of his job. Yes he had friends and colleague’s but I felt he needed his own Sub and love to complete his life, when he and Jordyn catch up its sparks gallore to start with. I love the interaction between them, the sass she gives him and the chuckles they both give me while reading. I didn’t like that she hurt him, I wanted to hug and kiss him better. This is fast paced with a few twists, its fantastic reading keeping you enthralled and interested throughout. I also loved that the Steel Team played a part in helping to solve the issues raised, JB Havens books are great and the crossover the two authors have done with their teams work well together. This story ended far to soon for me I could have read loads more about Carter even though it was concluded and complete, I just enjoyed it that much. Well done Samantha I knew you would do justice to Carter and give us fans what we wanted.

I have been eagerly awaiting Carter's story and I did enjoy it a lot. As it kept me completely engaged and entertained throughout. I especially loved when Carter's first name was revealed, although teased until the very end for that little piece of information.
As for Jordyn I liked her and felt her and Carter worked well as a team and couple, and they certainly had plenty of chemistry. Although I do feel this story overall lacked a bit of heat compared to earlier books in this series.
However there was an awful lot going on in this story, not just in terms of content but with the amount of characters that feature too. Which for me meant the story got a little bogged down and felt unfinished at times, especially in terms of the threat from the Diaz Cartel. Which is really why I didn't give this story 5 stars. Nonetheless it is definitely worth reading especially if like me you've been desperate to read Carter's story, or just happen to be a fan of the series itself.

This is book # 7 in the Trident Security series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. For reader enjoyment and understanding, I recommend reading this amazing series in order.
Jordyn and Carter have a history. One filled with chemistry, angst, and anger. When thrown together in the fight for her life, he is one of the few she can trust.
Carter has no idea what he did to anger Jordyn. He only knows no other woman has made him feel the same, before or since. Now, if he can only get her to forgive him and make a future with him in it.
I was so glad to read this story! These characters are so strong and so HOT! The heat was coming right off the pages. This series is just drool worthy and so much fun to read.

Oh Carter!!! I"ve been waiting for Carter's story since I first read this series. He's been in all the books here and there but always so secretive. This is his story and Samantha didn't disappoint her readers. I loved getting to know him better and finding out what makes him tick. And to see Jordyn struggle with her feelings and the realization that she had been mistaken about Carter was worth it. She really did love him but had to overcome a lot of things in her life. Carter may have trained her for her job, but only she can change the way she looks at him and his lifestyle!
This was such a good book and even though I'd been waiting on it for a long time, I cherished it. Samantha did an outstanding job on bringing Carter's story to us. He was everything we wanted him to be and more.

Has always been one of my favorite characters of the Trident series.... okay they are all my favs.. but he has always been an enigma and I was excited for his book to come out! Was not disappointed at all. Jordyn .... perfect match! Samantha A. Cole you have done it again! Now to see if I can figure out who the serial killer is!

I’m not sure what it is about Carter that has had me hooked from the beginning, but he is the one I couldn’t wait to read all about. He certainly is someone extremely special!
Carter had trained Jordyn years ago, one thing led to another and they spent the night together. Years later Carter still doesn’t know why she hates him but once they clear it up and get to know each other, their partnership blooms.
I love the way Carter nurtured Jordyn. They really were soul mates, completely made for each other. Their chemistry was off the charts, their banter was brilliant and once they found their footing, they were beautiful together. I do need more from these two though, I’ve nowhere near had my fill. (hint hint)
Both of their upbringings were heart breaking but without it, they wouldn’t be who they are today. To see how much love Carter has for Vicki and Justin just makes him the perfect man and Dom.
It was great to see the Steel Corps pop up, love Mic! Also cannot wait to read all about the Omega team.
Samantha has such an amazing way of writing about BDSM. When you’re reading about the goings on at The Covenant you are completely there with them. You never feel like what you are reading is half hearted. You are completely catapulted in to their world. It’s truly remarkable!

E finalmente ci siamo, ecco il libro sul misterioso agente T.Carter, che raggiunge i precedenti 8 di questa serie scoppiettante che finora non mi ha mai delusa. Nonostante sia presente in quasi tutti i libri della serie, non sappiamo quasi niente della spia che tante volte ha partecipato alle missioni della squadra nonchè alle serate nel club bdsm Covenant, e finalmente in questo nono capitolo, conosciamo un po' di più anche lui. Il romanzo mi è piaciuto moltissimo, più di quanto mi aspettassi, forse anche perchè è parecchio diverso dagli altri come impostazione e contenuto. Carter è un outsider e questo era già chiaro, e finalmente conosciamo un po' la sua storia personale, come è cresciuto, alcune persone molto importanti che fanno parte della sua vita e che lui fa di tutto per proteggere.
Lo vediamo soprattutto come uomo, oltre che come spia e Dom, in particolare nel modo in cui interagisce con la "collega" Jordyn (anche lei già intravista in precedenti romanzi), da lui addestrata per conto dello zio Sam anni prima, con cui c'è stata un'unica notte di passione seguita dalla fuga inspiegabile di lei. Carter deve proteggere se stesso e Jordyn da chi li ha presi di mira, ed è preso da lei da tutti i punti di vista; per la prima volta lo vediamo convinto a conquistare una donna per tenersela accanto, e figuriamoci se non ne sceglie una tostissima, abile con armi e lotta, con cui ha molto (troppo?) in comune. Rispetto agli altri libri, in questo c'è ancora più componente suspense, con tre sottotrame che vanno avanti di pari passo e si intrecciano abilmente. Non sottovalutate la Cole (e l'ottima traduzione), perchè questa serie è sicuramente poco impegnativa, ma come ho detto altre volte non è affatto banale e va molto altro le parti spicy, che tutto sommato non sono nemmeno così spinte come si potrebbe immaginare, anzi, forse giusto in questo libro sono persino meno del solito, ma tutte super sensuali, coinvolgenti e scritte magnificamente come sempre. Un libro imperdibile per le fan della Trident, necessario oserei dire.

Jordyn Alvarez & T. Carter
I've been looking forward to Carter's been since the beginning of this series. He's been the mysterious badass who's been saving the Trident Security guys asses since day 1.
Once we met Jordyn and realized that she is the perfect woman for a man such as Carter, and that made me even more impatient for their story.
Alas, Jordyn pissed me off with her stupidity. Thinking this man is an abuser after finding out that he was a member of a bdsm club made her less than in my eyes. I get that her past was what it was, but she could have done the research that Carter eventually had her do to get a better understanding of what it was she was condemning.
In my opinion, the author should have gave her another reason for distancing herself from Carter, because that was weak. This woman, who is a badass assassin, doesn't have enough sense not to form a judgement without all information???
Anyway, regardless of that this series keeps getting more intriguing with the suspense aspects. Plus, we still get to visit the other Trident men and women, as well as meet new characters (who I assume will have or already have books of their own).

This is the 7th book in the Trident Security series by Samantha A. Cole. Absolving His Sins is Carter's story. Jordyn is sexy great worker that Carter trained years ago. Carter had the eyes for Jordyn for years but she ran away years ago and now she is back. Will she stick around this time? You'll have to read this story to find out.
Samantha A Cole keeps the military aspects, lots of action, and the hot sexy chemistry of the BDSM lifestyle in play with this book. It was entertaining. I really enjoyed Master Carters story.

I would highly recommend you start at the beginning of this series if you're a new reader to Samantha's work.

Once again Samantha A Cole had delivered a well written, absolutely delicious and action filled Trident Security series book. This seventh book in the series called Absolving his sons tells the story of the ultra sexy, secret agent Carter, whom I have been crushing on throughout the entire series.
Carter has never let anyone in until one night when the sexual tension between him and fellow black ops partner Jordyn ignites into a sex filled time spent in the sheets.
Jordyn has not had an easy life and after an intense night with Carter she doesn't know how to handle the feelings inside her and coupled with a misunderstanding, will she ever be able to forgive him.
These two Heat up the pages and keep you captivated. With the rest of the characters filling the book with substance I have to say I have enjoyed this book just as much as the first in the series. Looking forward to reading more and more.

T Carter is a black ops agent and has been friends with our Sexy Six Pack before they were called that. We have gotten to know a little about this sexy man throughout the series but now Master Carter has a book of his own! Someone has hacked into the agency he works for and his identity and that of other agents have been compromised. Two have been killed and next on the list is someone he can't get out of his head and just maybe his heart...Jordyn Alvarez. He trained her and one night after a mission they finally let things go where they had never allowed them to go. Every since that night Jordyn has avoided Carter like the plague. He's determined to save her and Jordyn wants no part of him. You can't go wrong with this book! Be sure to read the rest of the series too it is fantastic!

Loving Carter.
How can you not love a bad a$$ Dom . Carter is every Sub's dream. If I was in the Lifestyle, I would want a Dom like Carter. There was a lot of Action and Suspense. Also some intrigue. Very well written. Kept me glued to the pages. I highly recommend this book. I recommend that you read the other books in this series. Not needed, but you get to know other key players in this book. I will have to get the next book! From a True Fan... Pam James.

The gang is all here, Trident finest, Mic and her crew. All here to lend a hand. Carter and Jordyn reconnect after her misunderstanding of his lifestyle. This book is so good.

Carter and Jordyn sizzle together.
This is book seven of the series and it did not disappoint. Carter and Jordyn have know each other for years but in the beginning they weren't even friends. They both come from disturbing backgrounds, but that makes them the perfect couple. Working a mission together and sharing their fears, gets them on the right path. I really loved them, they were truly fun to read about. Can't wait to see what comes next for them. If you haven't read this series, I highly recommend that you start soon.

Great story. It has everything you want in a book. Love scenes that melt your panties. Enough action that makes it hard to put the book down and scenes with ALL the hot alphas that we love. This book is the perfect 10.

Okay so this is NOT about the "sexy six-pack" men but of their best friend who is a government Black-ops that has played a part in the series, and is like a brother to the men of Trident Security. And just as hot, hunky, and all Alpha too!! Book 7 is Carter & Jordyn's story.... Jordyn is another government Black-ops co-worker of Carter, that he also trained. Their chemistry is electrical!!
It's a great story! What I have an issue with is these books are suppose to be standalone, and they are regarding the relationships. Not so in these last two books of the series regarding the mystery aspect of the stories. The unsolved mystery in book 6 was not dealt with in this book either, and was only addressed at the end without resolution, but instead leads to it continuing and introducing a new spinoff series. Sorry, I don't like cliffhangers but what is worse is when the cliffhanger is not resolved in its own series. Just a pet peeve of mine. So be forewarned!!

T. Carter is a ghost of a man who works for some government agencies that won’t claim him. He does things they can’t sanction. He goes by his last name and no one knows what his first name is, making him even more of a mystery. In each of the Trident Series books Carter has come in to help out on some mission and or save his friends. Yet he has always remained a mystery.
In an earlier book, Topping the Alpha, we got to know a tidbit of the mysterious Carter. It seems Jordyn Alvarez, another one of the unknown government agencies employee, was called in to help on a case and she hated him and if had the option would love to see him dead. What happened we didn’t find out then, but we do in this book and it is good. We also learn what life was like for both Jordyn and Carter growing up. Is T. Carter a mystery or a cad or a tragic figure? Why would she hate him so much?
Flash to this book and the horrible deaths that seem to have a pattern that threatens to end Carter and Jordyn. Their fellow agents are being targeted and murdered which forces these two to work together to find out who is behind this. While watching each other's backs and staying alive they must confront their past. Will they be able to do that while protecting each other?
While I was drawn into the story wanting to know who Carter really was and what the T stood for, just like Jordyn, I found this story to be missing something. I just can’t put my finger on what exactly it was. Was it the crossover storyline, J.B. Havens’ Steel Corps series, No Way in Hell, the Steel Corps team is involved and the mission from that crossover series was mentioned, maybe. Again I’m not sure if this had something to do with what I found missing. I don’t know but something was just off with this story and we still don’t have the mystery from the prior book in the series solved. Don’t get me wrong, I love all these guys and the way the author writes their stories because she intertwined everyone and yes, this is part of the Trident series so we still have all of the sexy six pack in helping figure out who is after Carter and Jordyn.
While this author has a real talent for catching people up enough for her book to be read as standalones, I strongly recommend that you read them as a series, because the previous cases are action packed and lead you to this moment. I’m regrettably having to give this only 4.5 rating and not a 5 star rating because whatever is off that I can’t place won’t let me and it is driving me nuts trying to figure that out. This is book 7 in the Trident Series and although the book can be read as a stand-alone it is best to read the book in order as there are several back stories that will make the read much better!
Jordyn Alvarez is an assassin who works for Deimos which is a black ops team for the US government. She has just completed her last mission when the one man she wants far away from her shows up to tell her that her own life is in danger. Now Jordyn must spend time with a man that brings her to her knees with just a look.
T. Carter is a mystery and one of the top assassins for the US government. When Jordyn is not the only one the assassin is after the two must work together with the few people they trust to bring down whomever is trying to kill them.
But for Carter, Jordyn is the one woman he can't get over and wants to be with. Will she trust him enough to give them a chance or will she push him away and into more danger?
This is one of my favorite series and I knew I couldn't wait for this one to come out as Carter was such a mystery to me yet still one of my favorite characters! This book was definitely worth the wait and now I can't for the next book.
I loved the independence and strength of Jordyn. She is the type of woman many of us would like to be in that she totally kicks ass. Yet Jordyn had a difficult childhood which made it easier for her to disappear off the grid. She was also very stubborn which created problems and tension between her and Carter.
Carter is absolutely awesome and I definitely wish he was protecting me! He has such a huge heart and would do anything for his friends and family. That is why he has his friends backing him up trying to figure out who is after him! I love all the "sides" of him and I love how this book looks at his past and his allegiances.
I am so excited for the next book and I can't wait to find out who the killer is! This series brings you in and you fall in love with each character more and more as the series goes on.
