I love mysteries where the more clues and the more evidence uncovered by the characters means you are suspecting everyone. I was suspicious of everyone while reading Black Moon Rising. It was light-hearted, quick, and fun to read. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I didn’t have that urgency to keep reading that I hope for with mysteries. It was easy to stop reading and to go to something else for a while before coming back to Black Moon Rising.

I did find it super cool that the author managed to make everyone in the town individualistic instead of cardboard cutout background characters. I’ll read more by this author and hopefully next time I’ll be more sucked in.

I received an ARC copy of Black Moon Rising from Book Sirens free of charge. It was my choice to read and I’m leaving this review voluntarily.

Well now. This was a very different story to read. I instantly fell attracted to the storyline, Paranormal ghost hunting. I had a little clue that this book might have some exciting entertainment and it did. Selene and her partner slash boyfriend made enjoying this book so much fun. The conversations between were so simple, casual and calming. There were no dramatics or historical outbreaks, just two people who completely new each other. The characters are very intriguing, most of them brought mystery to the paranormal investigators. The story reads like a sleuth story, but I found it to be an interesting read.

Aiden and Selene became paranormal investigative hunters after his old partner and he had a falling out and went their separate ways after Aiden had saved her and help her leave the town that had been holding her hostage for years. Selene was a Luna witch and she didn't know how powerful she really was when they come to Maresburg they are supposed to stay at the hotel that has been having paranormal issues since the 1960s. It started years ago with Mr. & Mrs. Poe and the fact that he was holding her hostage until she died. Then one night many years after Mrs. Poe's death after her husband had sold the hotel to the Dunn family and on one Halloween when Cordelia was seventeen she goes into Mrs. Poe's room and finds something that caused a terrible evil to come forth and reside in the hotel and that very same evil is still there now, the hotel is owned by the Moons who have called the hunters there because of the unfortunate activity happening. Aiden and Selene are going to try and figure out how to solve the problem without more deaths occurring. A good storyline and the characters are very entertaining. Drama, mystery suspense, evil adventure, romance, and love. I received an ARC via BookFunnel without obligation. I volunteered an honest review.

Mila Nicks sucked me in on the first book in this series (Black Witch Magic) and she did it again with Black Moon Rising!

So Selene is out and about from Brimrock, finally getting to see the world after the curse on her family was lifted. She has joined her boyfriend's (Aiden) paranormal investigation show. They end up at the Mhoon Hotel in Virginia to investigate why hotel guests keep dying in their sleep.

This was just spooky enough and I am already ready to read the next book in the series! Do not sleep on this series!

Thank you to Netgalley for this ARC ebook in exchange for an honest review!

Another fun book in the series! I think my favorite type of paranormal books are light, humorous, and romantic.

This book follows the events of book 1, with Selene and Aiden leaving Brimmrock for a small town in Virginia. They are investigating what seems to be a haunted hotel for their paranormal investigative show. The plot moved really quickly with the unraveling of the mysterious hotel, as well as the integration Selene and Aiden's progressing romance. There was just the right amount of romance and steamy scenes in this book that I really enjoyed. It really made the stakes higher when you can feel how their feelings are evolving for each other.

Thanks to the author and MTMC Tours for the review copy! All thoughts are my own.

Black Moon Rising was a delightful read & the perfect book to pick up if you love paranormal romances! Selene and Aiden are the sweetest paranormal investigators couple & in this sequel to Black Witch Magic, they arrive to the small town of Maresburg to investigate the Mhoon Hotel. The setting was incredibly spooky and charming at the same time. I couldn't stop imaging myself there, drinking hot chocolate and eating Ms. Coco's snickerdoodles cookies while walking through the streets and exploring the hotel alongside the guests.
Perfect read for the spooky season!! 📚✨

Thank you to the author and MTMC tours for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

The events of this book take place after Book 1 – Black Witch Magic – in which Aiden, a paranormal investigator not only finds out that the paranormal does exist but meets and falls for Selene. The books should ideally be read in order, as this book contains spoilers for the events of book 1, however, I just dived right in with book 2 without having read the first one and it was very easy to pick up on all the important details.

This book follows Selene and Aiden as they travel to the Mhoon Hotel for Selene’s first-ever episode of their Paranormal Hunters show. Aiden is ever the skeptic, but it doesn’t take long for Selene to feel as though they have stumbled into a very real paranormal problem. As they try to solve the mystery of the unexplained deaths, secrets are uncovered until everyone seems as though they could be a suspect.

I really enjoyed the mystery aspect and felt invested in finding out the truth alongside our two MC’s. I enjoyed watching clues unfold and making my own (usually incorrect) guesses as the urgency and stakes were raised. Overall, the mystery was wonderfully written, and the ending was excellent. It kept me on my toes, and I was very happy with how it unfolded and that the ending didn’t stop abruptly but really explored the monster that’s been haunting us the whole of the book and showed us just how powerful he was.

As well as a compelling story, it had a great small-town setting which was written very well and kept me very immersed in the world and the characters. I liked that the characters were all unique and had their own secrets as it made them feel a lot more three-dimensional.

The author managed to balance the mystery and the romance very well, ensuring that not only was I invested in the mystery but in the couple themselves. I loved seeing their relationship develop and watch as they learned with each other what they needed. Aiden was so sweet and thoughtful in the ways he showed how much he cared, and Selene was delightful, and her feelings of doubt and insecurity were very relatable. Their relationship was well done, and the author showed us that with support and love you can learn to grow together in the relationship, overall, Selene and Aiden were very sweet and lovely to read about. I feel as though Selene is still at the very beginning of her journey and she still has a lot to discover about herself and her magic, so I am sure we will be getting more adventures with these two in the future!

Overall, it was a great paranormal mystery with a good dose of romance and delightful and intriguing characters. Selene and Aiden were great, and it was lovely seeing them learn and grow together throughout the story, I look forward to their next adventure.

The second book in this series picks up with Selene and Aiden going out together to investigate paranormal activities.

In the first book, Selene felt trapped in her hometown. She wasn’t happy there, was afraid people would find out she was a witch, yet was unable to leave.
When she met Aiden she finally felt free.

Seeing Selene getting to travel and experience adventures, and falling in love, is good to see.

This trips takes them to a haunted hotel. Aiden is always more skeptic/realistic(?) thinking that he can find a reason for events that aren’t supernatural.
Like Aiden’s previous cohost, Selene is always more open to the supernatural reason.

They go to the hotel owned by the Mhoon family. There have been unexplained deaths happening at the hotel since the 1960’s, guests dying in their sleep. It always seems to get explained away as natural causes, even when it doesn’t sound like it should have.

But people do die in hotels of course, especially over the course of decades.

Selena notices that she starts sleeping really well at the hotel. She is normally a light sleeper and she never dreams. When at the hotel, she’s sleeping like a baby and having very interesting dreams. At first she’s enjoying it but then she gets concerned that she might be the next victim.

I like the creative “bad guy” the author created. I thought it was very unique and it felt right for the story.

I always like Selena and Aiden too so it was good to catch up with them.

I’m on the author’s ARC list, so I got an early ebook copy of this book. I enjoyed it.

I love this series, and it’s perfect mix of romance and mystery!

Black Moon Rising is the follow up to Black Witch Magic and follows Selene and Aiden on a new adventure of paranormal investigating
In Maresburg, Virgina where the Mhoon Hotel is said to be haunted, and has guests experiencing nightmares so haunting it literally stops their hearts. Aiden and Selene race to solve the case before anyone else’s nightmares come true!

I loved this one just as much as book one. The mystery had me intrigued from the prologue and kept me guessing all the way through. I loved being along for the ride on this adventure with Selene and Aiden as they solve the mystery behind the deaths happening at the Mhoon Hotel! I also loved watching Selene and Aidens relationship evolve from something new to something established. I loved the little tidbits of real life mixed in with the mystery/ghost hunting, and seeing these two open up and trust each other more really showed that growth.

Both Black Witch Magic and Black Moon Rising are great such great reads ! So if you’re looking for some fun cozy mysteries with some great romance you should definitely pick these up! I personally can not wait for Selene and Aidens next adventure!!

I had such a good time with this one!

Black Moon Rising centers on lunar witch Selene Blackstone, and her paranormal hunter boyfriend Aiden O' Hare following the events of the first book, Black Witch Magic. In this installment, the pair head to Virginia to investigate a haunted hotel.

I loved the plot of this novel. I think I enjoyed this one even more than the first. I really liked the mystery and paranormal aspects and it was such a fun ride.

Selene and Aiden continue to be their lovable selves. One small gripe I had about Black Witch Magic was that their relationship seemed very insta lovey but in this book there's definitely some more growth and development. Aiden struggles with showing his emotions and it was really nice to see him actively making an effort to improve himself so that he can be a better man for Selene.

The writing was once again fun and easy to get through. I was able to finish this in a day.

I loved Black Witch Magic because of the cozy mystery vibes and Black Moon Rising delivered that even better than the first novel. The investigation was so fun to read about and I really liked the way it was all wrapped up. I can't wait for the third book to see their next paranormal investigation!

Black Moon Rising is the second installment in the Paranormal Hunters series. This book picked up with the adventures of Selena and Aiden as they are now a filming team for the show Paranormal Hunters. Their relationship has developed into a stable partnership as well as romantic partners. They play off their strengths very well throughout this story. I enjoyed the setting of Maresburg with the rich history as well as the paranormal activity. The author had a wonderful balance between the paranormal and the mystery throughout this book. The pacing and the character of this story kept my interest until the very end. Overall, this was a great second book and I can't wait for the next book in this series.

The second book picks up where Black Witch Magic left off. The author once again brings strong characters in Selene and Aiden and takes them on an adventurous paranormal mystery. She does a great job building the story and pulled me in with all the intrigue as well as the evolving relationship. It's well written ,moves fluidly and is a great read.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.

(I received the ARC so I'm super biased. But I also bought the physical copies and I requested an ARC after reading the first one)

Am I surprised that this book was as good, if not better than the first one? Nope. Most of the time, I fear that the following books couldn't live up to the hype of the first one, but not for this series.

I was lucky to find out about 'Black Witch Magic' (the first book) barely 2-3 weeks before the release of 'Black Moon Rising'. I couldn't believe how addicted I was about Selene and Aiden's story and I almost cried when I saw that the second book was to be released only a few weeks later.

Like the first review I posted, this book is addicting. I had to put it down and force myself to not read it in one go.

The paranormal gave me chill, the love story felt natural. I appreciated the realism in Aiden and Selene relationship. They may have encountered a few obstacles but they came out stronger which is a plus. I love some functional relationship and mature characters.

I know for a fact that I'll read them both again especially before the next release.

I love the characters in this series, Aiden and Selene are such an unlikely couple but that's what makes it all the more fun. In this one they've hit the road to begin filming episodes of Aiden's ghost hunters show, which brings them to the mystery of a hotel where people keep dying in their sleep.

Overall it was enjoyable but a little slow, I was waiting for a bit more action and not a lot happened, but it did have a very satisfying end! 3.5 stars

Black Moon Rising is the follow-up novel in the Paranormal Hunters series. The events in this novel take place after Black Witch Magic . The novels should be read in order as there are spoilers from the previous novels that are discussed in this one, however, you could potentially read this one without reading the first and be okay. It was lovely returning to check-in on Aiden and Selene after their crazy meeting and first adventure in the first novel.

Selene Blackstone is now free of the curse trapping her to remain in her hometown of Brimrock, Massachusetts. She is now finally able to travel around and see all the sights that she previously only read about in books. Now that she has Aiden O’Hare by her side, the two of them can continue Aiden’s work as a Paranormal Investigator for their YouTV show. Their first show together is going to investigate a haunted hotel in Maresburg, Virginia. As Selene is having difficulty sleeping while on the road, she is looking forward to sleeping in a real bed, even if the place is full of potential paranormal activity.

The Mhoon family has owned the hotel since the 80s, but the unexplainable events have been occurring well before in the 1960s with guests mysteriously dying in their sleep, even though they seemed healthy otherwise. Previous investigations believed the people to be dying of natural causes, so now it is up to our team of Selene and Aiden to see if that is the truth or if there is more to the story. I admit to myself that this might not have been the best book to read at night in the dark as it felt a little too on the nose for the subject they are investigating, especially as I live in a very old house that makes all types of noises in the middle of the night.

In addition to investigating, the story also continues to focus on Aiden, Selene, and their growing relationship. As a newer couple, they are still learning to fully open up to each other. This is especially true for Aiden who has never been fully able to express his feelings in words, but he is trying to grow and change. He continues to be his sarcastic self that fits his character and is a great balance to Selene’s more sensitive side. They experience the learning curve that almost all couples face, but they have great communication skills that help them work through it. Their relationship feels very natural and I love how the author wrote each character to stay true to the personalities that were first introduced in the original novel.

The author does a great job balancing the mystery and the romance. Selene and Aiden’s relationship does not stop for the sake of the potential monster. They are working on trying to film their first episode together and Selene is fearful about not being liked by the public. Aiden was a great support and he was there with Selene every step of the way. The two of them stayed true to their opinions on the paranormal with Aiden being open to the possibility, but still skeptical, whereas Selene is more prone to believe.

Overall, the author did a fantastic job creating a small town setting and described it well, so the reader feels immersed in the story. The hotel and the characters were all fitting for the story, as they all seemed amazing yet suspicious. I loved the build up to the reveal of the mystery and how it all came together to try to solve everything. It fit very well and I love how this novel sets itself up to get the reader excited to read the next one in the series. It looks like in Black Siren’s Song our couple will find their way to Arizona and California for another mystery. This novel was a great addition to the series and I greatly look forward to reading the next one! [4.5 rounded to 5]

**I want to give a special thank you to Netgalley and the author, Mila Nicks, for a review copy of this entertaining novel. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.**

So excited to read the follow up to Black Witch Magic! And it was an excellent one! The story starts pretty soon after the events of the first book. Selene and Aiden are cuties and I’m so happy they get to go on adventures together. This time around, the book feels even more spooky than the last. Even though both have their big, paranormal forces, this one will give you a more of a haunting vibe. Plus, the big bad is much bigger and badder this time around.
I enjoyed the new setting. It had a small town vibe like last time, but mercifully everyone and their mother didn’t sneer at Selene. I mean, some do lol. There’s a good deal of mystery here, and a whole new cast of characters. It’s hard to know who to trust, but it it makes for really great twists. Selene grows more and more lovable with each book. You sense a real confidence growing in her since the events of the first book and leaving that hateful town of hers. Aiden actually threw me for a bit of a loop this time. He’s more closed off than before. I mean, he was antisocial before, but he appeared to be pretty open with Selene. This time around, he seems to turn in on himself and that may end up being something they need to explore in the next installment. Though they are still very very cute together.
Speaking of what’s next…oooh I can’t wait. I don’t think we have a title or anything, but this story is so not done! Plus, we had hints last time around and now it seems inevitable that Selene will be tracking down a special someone. Very interested in seeing that play out!
All in all, this was such a great follow up to a great first book. It’s written very well and really captures you in the narrative. Excellent work, once again!

Half-baked theory: there have been a lot of mentions of Aiden being quick to heal and stuff. It has me wondering if he’s special in some way. I know he’s Irish, so my mind wandered round the bend and led me down some wacky theories. But I’m keeping my eye out. Maybe they’ll hop the pond and visit the Emerald Isle in this series!

P.S. I missed Bibi. She pops in a couple of times. But it’s never enough.

Black moon Rising picks up from Black a Witch Magic. Selene and Aiden are traveling across the country on a cute couples vacation. Selene is having some trouble sleeping, but they arrive in a town called Maresburg to investigate a spooky hotel. They meet the family owning the hotel and they’re all questionable and a few towns people who also seem suspect. There’s a lot of weird things going on at the hotel including guests having bad dreams and somebody wandering around the hotel at night. After a lot of mystery it’s finally revealed what’s really going on at the hotel.

This was a satisfying sequel to the original. It had a lot more mystery and detective like work than the first one and felt a little scarier with the hotel and Maresburg setting. I really enjoyed Nicks descriptions of the town and hotel. It helped me picture what the town was alike, very cozy but spooky too. I also loved Aiden and Selene together as a couple and as characters. Their relationship is cute and doesn’t need a lot of drama to keep them interesting. I like how Nicks has established each of their personality and it feels authentic when they have disagreements. I like that Aiden was still sarcastic and a realist and Selene was still clever and sensitive. The cast of other characters were interesting too. I hated Mrs Mhoon! I couldn’t stand her and thought she was behind what was going on. I really liked Phoebe and Omar but then Omar had to go ruin it, hehe.

The twist surprised me and I didn’t see it coming, I liked the concept of the monster. It was creative and scary. I liked all the emphasis on dreams. I’m glad Aiden and Selene are moving on to something warmer. I really looking forward to what happens when they make it to California. I wished we got to learn more about Selene and what’s going on with Luna, but it seems she is alive and we’re going to find out more in California. I would love to read about a witches coven! I hope this is where the series is going and will keep a lookout for the third one!

Black Moon Rises follows up Aiden & Selene's Adventure from Black Witch Magic.
Selene, Aiden & Ghost (the van) travel across the country to film their paranormal show.
Their next case leads them to a spooky hotel in a town called Maresburg.
Both of them work together with the owners of the hotel & as well as the guests to uncover the truth behind the Hauntings.

As the dynamic duo they are, with Selene being over the moon (no pun intended) traveling all over & Aiden being as sarcastic as ever, it's so thrilling to see them work along side each & solve the case together.

The description of the mysterious little town was so very well written that I could imagine it almost perfectly.

A very satisfying sequel, that is filled with so many twists, turns, magic & witchcraft.
The backstory & the plot was very well thought off, that'll leave you on the edge of your seats.

I loved loved how it deals with alternate realms & how real it can be if someone let's it to be.
Even with so many mysteries, hindrances, troubles, deception, lies & life threatening moments, Selene & Aiden come more closer. They navigate their relationship further with a bond stronger than ever.
I cannot wait for next adventure in California.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily posting a review. All opinions are my own.

Black Moon Rising continues the adventures of Selena and Aiden as they’re now a team filming their show Paranormal Hunters. It was fun to see how things panned out for them after they found themselves thrown together during the previous book, and it’s great to see that they have a fairly stable romantic relationship while also working together. As a result, the romance does feel a bit sidelined for the paranormal elements, but this is a great example of a series that can work between an established couple without an excessive amount of interpersonal drama.

But the series trajectory also allows for some engagement with cool places with a rich history. I enjoyed soaking up the vibe of Maresburg, even as I was questioning whether the paranormal encounters were real along with them, and things got increasingly more dangerous.

This is a great second installment in the series, and I’m excited to find out what will happen next. If you like paranormal romance involving witches, curses, and hauntings, I think you’ll enjoy this fun series.

The plot of the story is just awesome. Although the first few chapters of the book were not as eventful as I had hoped for, it picked up the pace as it pushed forward. I was really impressed by the revelations and the turn of events; when I thought I got it all figured out, the book surprised me in a good kind of way. The climax part of the story is amazing; I do not know how many times I got goosebumps while reading it, but those great scenes put me on edge. In the book, I also like how the author built up Selene and Aiden’s relationship and how they had gotten to know each other so well to the point that they know if something was up and if it was best to give the other person some space. The way they were able to resolve the uncertainties in their relationship to move forward is very satisfying. I was hoping that Aiden would be able to mend his friendship with Eddie after falling out in the first book, so reading them talking each other by the end of this one gave me a smile. I really enjoyed this paranormal romance novel, and I cannot wait for Selene and Aiden’s next paranormal adventure.

I read and enjoy Paranormal romances and was intrigued by the description of this book, so took the opportunity of reading an advance copy. This is not a light hearted romp along the lines of Angie Fox, rather a more serious story about a pair of Paranormal investigators - please note that this is not a criticism, rather a description.
I did not read the first book in this series, however I picked up the back story as I went along. Selene is a lunar witch and Aiden her boyfriend who are hired by the owner of the Mhoon Hotel to investigate the deaths of some guests over the years. They do find some evidence of a real Paranormal presence behind these deaths, however struggle to make progress initially until things to start coming together with some real surprises along the way.
With some definitely eerie moments, plus a few spicy ones, this is not a light hearted read, but will be enjoyed by those who like their Paranormal stories definitely on the spooky side.
I received an advance copy of this book from the publisher through BookSirens, however this did not influence my review of the book.

Selly is finally touring around and seeing life for the first time. Then the first case at the Mhoons hotel was a crazy one. A dreamling who creates beautiful real dreams and feeds on you when you sleep. Then you get nightmares and that’s that. You feel bad for Mrs. Poe who got everyone into this mess using the mirror to go into dreamworld to escape from her life. Especially from Mr. Poe a witch hunter. Then other witch hunters in the present. Selly was power enough to envision the dreamling going back inside the mirror and putting him back where he belongs. Selly then throw the mirror in the river. Selly learned that there are other lunar witches like Mrs. Poe and her. That Selly can alter the dream world. That there is a coven of witches and her grandma Luna may just be among them. Aiden fixing up the car was so cute and how supportive he is. Selly is becoming a more powerful witch as she’s learning more about herself and it’s nice to see it unfolding. It was quite a wild story. It’s always so scary when your dreams become so real it’s hard to tell real from imagination. Then you factor in a being that can alter dreams and harm the person and it gives the story more of a chill.

Now that the curse is broken, and Selene Blackstone is no longer confined to stay within the city borders of Brimrock, she has taken to the road with her paranormal investigator boyfriend Aiden O’Hare. After doing a bit of sightseeing, they are now on a job for his show, Paranormal Hunters, where they are investigating the Mhoon Hotel. The hotel has become infamous for the increasing number of guests who experience nightmares so frightening they die in their sleep. Aiden and Selene have to determine if there is a scam going on or if there truly is something paranormal going on.
This is the second book in the Paranormal Hunters series. I read the first book and loved it, so I was excited to read this one. It was just as good as the first. I loved seeing the relationship develop between Selene and Aiden. They had a combination of fun banter and steamy romance going on. This is perfect for anyone who loves paranormal mysteries. I am already anxiously awaiting book three!

Bravo!!

Where to begin? I'm happy this is a series. The story was wonderfully written. I was smiling at 5% of the story. Nicks makes me smiles because shes a literary star. The writing is excellent. Editing is smooth. The pace is perfect. Right amount of romance and the sex is tastefully done. Just stellar. I love Fin and Selene. They are the cutest. Now
this story was a real paranormal masterpiece. It had history. Creepiness and the breath intake factor. I know I'm butchering this review. I tend to get that way when I excited about a story. So I will tell you to just read the story. Its good. You will not be disappointed. The only thing I'm disappointed about is I gotta wait until October to read the next installment.
I enjoy the ride with Aiden and Selene. And you will do. Loved it!!

I really enjoyed reading this book and very much liked the progress of the series. The romance aspect is sweet and sexy, the witchy aspect is developing a bit and hints at excitement to come and the characters are developing (albeit slowly).

However, the mystery still isn't super well done. The clues are there, but the “twist” really just rushes the novel towards a dramatic conclusion in order to tie up loose ends and push the characters towards Selene’s next magical development.

All in all solidly enjoyable paranormal romance that even if not perfect, is engaging. I look forward to reading more in this series.

Black Moon Rising is amazing. I love where Mila Nicks takes Selene and Aiden in this one. This is a fabulous adventure of finding out what is behind the paranormal activity happening at a family hotel. Aiden and Selene are simply wonderful together. Their chemistry is hot as ever. Even when things get a little bumpy along the way, Selene and Aiden make a wonderful team. You are pulled in from the very start to what is behind everything going on in the hotel. I love how Selene is growing as a witch and Aiden supports her so. I cannot wait for the next adventure Aiden and Selene go on in the Paranormal Hunters series.

A witch, a YouTube sensation, and a van called Ghost.

Black Moon Rising is a fun cozy mystery that's modernized by the couple being part of a show called Paranormal Hunters.

I didn't read the first in the series where Aiden and Selene become a couple, but watching them fall harder and navigate the waters of a relationship where they essentially live and work together was super sweet. I'd classify this as open-door, but not steamy. The focus of the book is on the mystery of a supernatural specter haunting a hotel. Coming in at the second book wasn't confusing; the author did a good job adding context.

This paranormal romance is sweet, original, and offers small-town vibes. Recommend for fans of shows like Supernatural or Teen Wolf.

this is the second book in this series picking up where the first one left off. I realy enjoyed the first one but I loved this one. There was a great blend of paranormal and mystery plus it was fun seeing Selene on her first case. My favorite thing about these books are the characters. Everyone has a distinct personality and I love how bookworms like Selene and Aiden are portrayed. It was sweet seeing how their relationship has flourished too. I just love them together and can't wait for book 3! It sounds like we're getting meraids!

I received this book for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review.

A broken mirror and a death lead to a hotel becoming known as the most haunted hotel in the U.S. Enter paranormal investigator, Ethan, and his witch girlfriend, Selene, to solve the mystery. This story has a lot of mystery and a few twists and turns to keep the reader on his toes as to what will happen next. A good story of commitment, witchcraft, and mysterious happenings, with a bit of subterfuge to make it a bit more intriguing.

Such a fun sequel! I loved the mystery at the haunted hotel. I made the mistake of mostly reading this at night and was a little paranoid afterward, hahaha! It was a joy following Aiden and Selene on the case and seeing them solve everything plus their relationship is just so cute! I love them together and cannot wait to see what happens in the next book.

Thanks to Mila Nicks for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
