Sean Pierce has one year to deal with the rustic campground inherited from a distant uncle. It’s a decrepit collection of cabins on a piece of land coveted by the town fathers of North Pole, New York. Losing the bequest isn’t a big deal until Sean’s carefully orchestrated life implodes when he discovers his fiancée two-timing with his boss.
Girlfriend? Gone. Career? Gone. Future? Who the hell knows. Humiliated, angry, and confused why he isn’t a bit more crushed by the betrayal, he flees the big city for North Pole, NY, whose claim to fame is Christmas—all day, every day.
With less than three months to secure his inheritance, Sean turns to Angelina Weiss, the town’s director of tourism. She’s also the only North Pole resident rooting for him to succeed. It will take a Christmas miracle for Sean to meet his deadline, convince the townspeople to give him a chance, and discover the true meaning of holiday magic.

First things first; I like the cover of this book! Grumpy Santa is a novella in the ‘’holiday honeys’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. When Sean leaves the city after a bad break up, he never expects his life to lead where it does. Angelina is determined to help Sean with his new business and her small town. The chemistry between Sean and Angelina is clear to see and I liked them together. I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.
EmKay Connor is a brand new author for me. I absolutely loved Grumpy Santa and can't wait to read the bonus epilogue! A love at first sight story with a happy for now ending.
Grumpy Santa is safe and free of abuse and cheating, no others after meeting, no ow/om drama
“If you were smart, you’d sign this patch of land over to the town and go back to New York.” Sean didn’t usually talk to himself, but since he’d lost his fiancée and his boss—who also happened to be his ex-best-friend—there wasn’t anyone else around to converse with. Maybe he should get a dog so people didn’t think he was crazy. Well, crazy-er.
ואז אנחנו מקבלים הצצה לצד השני של הסיפור...
“Are you stalking me?” he asked in a low seductive voice that made her shiver. “No,” she said slowly,
“It’s more like I’m trailing you,” she explained, willing her body to calm the heck down. Her nipples tightened into peaks beneath her red sweater as if reaching out to him
“What’s the difference between trailing and stalking?” His voice remained conversational but quiet, as if they were speaking in a library. “Intent.” She stepped out from her hiding spot and extended a hand. “Angelina Weiss. North Pole Director of Tourism.”
Sean and Angelina made a wonderful couple. How they met and worked well together, just seemed nice they ended up together. A big plus for me, I enjoyed reading about the North Pole. I was born and raised in Northern NY and have been (many times) to one of my favorite places...Santa's Workshop, North Pole, NY. So I imagined how your village looked and the towns people. Brings back so many happy times. Thanks for such good stories. Written by Cindy :)
