The “Druid Academy” Box Set by C.S. Churton compiles into a single volume all three book in the Druid Academy Series: Druid Magic, Feral Magic and Primal Magic. This is a typical YA Academy series that follows eighteen-year-old Lyssa Eldridge, who just have received a personal hand-written acceptance letter at the renowned Academy of Druidic Magic. Lyssa believes the letter to be a bad-joke and forgets about it, until some months letter the recruiter for the Academy pays her a visit (which by the way, Lyssa still believes to be some kind of elaborated joke). It turns out that the Academy is very much real and caters to magic wielders, who are trained are the institution according to their abilities: Fire, Air, Earth and Water.
At the very beginning Lyssa, who didn’t even know magic existed in the first place, is the typical ‘new girl at school’ failing behind at the most her classes, but in the course of the story, Lyssa shows no only advance capabilities, but evolves making friends, discovering complots and saving the day a couple of times in the process.
C.S Churton trilogy is well-written, with a good developed world and interesting characters that would appeal the most to fans of J.K. Rowling’s “Harry Potter”, PC & Kristin Cast’s “House of Night” or Michelle Mead’s “Vampire Academy”.
Eighteen-year-old Lyssa Eldridge’s university prospects have been bleak with all the rejection notices until she gets an invitation for admission into Dragondale Academy of Druidic Magic. She fears it is merely a joke until her recruiter arrives and takes her into a totally different reality!
This box set contains all three books in the sensational Druid Academy fantasy series. Titles include: Druid Magic, Feral Magic, and Primal Magic. Below is a review of one of the books to give you an idea of what’s inside.
*** Reviewing “FERAL MAGIC (DRUID ACADEMY, #2)” *** Tensions are high between the druids and shifters. Lyssa’s hippogriff, Stormclaw, has been attacking people, and the headmaster is afraid he’s too dangerous to be allowed to live. What could be causing this aggression? And even her powers aren’t “right” -- she is able to control three different elements – but all the professors insist that’s impossible.
This was a good story line with a mystery of what is causing all the unusual events. The reader can almost feel the tension surrounding the academy. Grab your copy and find out what’s going wrong! And having the entire box set of books here, you can start at the beginning and read the entire adventure!
I really enjoyed this trilogy about Lyssa and Dragondale Academy. Lyssa believes she is an ordinary person ready to head off for college, but when the only invitation she receives is for a school of magic, her whole life changes. At the school, she finds magic powers, new friends, mystery, secrets, surprises, tension, aggression, shifters, druids, and her own hippogryff. The world-building is thorough, the characters well-developed, and Lyssa experiences significant growth through the books as she learns about her developing powers. There is action, humor, and a little snark in this easy YA read. I really appreciated having all the books in one set. You can just pick it up and enjoy the complete story from beginning to end.

It has to be said, Druid Academy is redolent with the imagery of other books, most notably Harry Potter followed with shade of Twilight and Avatar - The Last Airbender. Anyone who has read the aforementioned books will find themselves making comparisons as they read through Druid Academy. That said, Druid academy has a tantalizing premise, intriguing characters, and evocative writing that puts the reader in Lyssa's world. Although there are some inconsistencies with sentence tense and editing details, Druid Academy is a good, solid story with enough mystery, twists and surprises to keep a reader interested.

I enjoyed read about Lyssa and what ends up happening when she ends up at a Druid Academy for college. The 3 books are in this set and they were a hoot to read. It was a blast watching Lyssa a "normal" girl find out she was a druid with magic powers. She had a steep learning curve to learn about this new world she as actually a part of. The school had the typical groups of kids but with the added adventure of them all being able to do magic. I laughed and groaned but was entertained. Liked the mix of typical school stuff with a bit of a mystery or two thrown in for fun. Plus Lyssa ends up not being the typical druid so that was fun to watch as she learned a few things and turned the school on its ear. Just an entertaining light read I enjoyed.
Druid Academy teaches the next generation of druids and prepares them to join magic society and follow all the rules necessary to keep them safe. Lyssa was hidden by her druid mother among non magical people to keep her from her power hungry father. Starting at Dragondale introduces Lyssa to a whole new world of magic and shifters and mythical creatures. She gets through her three years with good friends and while discovering her unusual powers. The story does follow Harry Potter rather closely, especially the team game aspect. I received an advance copy of this book and voluntarily left a review.
I'm a sucker for box sets, there's nothing better than reading the whole series in one go. That being said, I'm glad I decided to go for the box set, thus having the opportunity to savor the story without distractions and waiting times between books. I loved the storyline and the world building, and the characters were well developed, while there's also the mystery of Lyssa's parentage, which keeps the interest of the reader. There are unexpected plot twists, and vivid descriptions that make the reader feel part of the story.
Not nearly as good as Harry Potter, but acceptable. Very much like Harry Potter, so if you like boarding schools with uniforms, magic and mythological beasts then this is for you. Caveat: this is supposed to be about druids but it really isn’t. Also, the characters are supposed to be adults, 18-19, but they are very immature. If you substitute witches for druids and 12-year-olds for adults, it works. Finally, the three volumes really make one book. I would not recommend them singly.
The characters are fun and the magic system seems to be well thought out. The main character is one of those strong independent young ladies we see in a lot of books. While always being right and having strong opinions, she is that same character we see all over the place.
The supporting cast is tepid. Not a lot going on with any of them.
The magical youngsters in an academy is getting really old.
The book is okay. Nothing special, nothing horrible.
Lovely books, read them in a few days. Love the main characters ( authors) sense of humour. Lyssa is unexpectedly invited into the Druid world where she attends the academy. There are similarities to The Harry Potter books, but this only makes them more fun. You can almost hear certain characters through some of the staff members. Loving horses, I took an instant liking to the Griffs in the stories, and their antics. I would recommend these books for anyone who likes a bit of young adventure, magic, heroism and an occasional chuckle.
She thought she was just a normal human being, a "mundane" to those with magic. Little did she know she was adopted at a very young age, at least until she is called to the druid Academy. And finds that she is so much more than a mundane. In fact, she and her friends (and one frenemy) fight a war to save all the druid Academies against an evil druid who is very powerful, and her father! Can they beat the evil druid and save the academies?

Absolutely the best series I have read, the pace keeps throughout unlike some that seem to have no idea how to reach a satisfying conclusion and lose the fizz as the series progresses this does not. There is no fast ending that leaves you disappointed this has everything reminiscent of early J L Weil and G Bailey. Top of my must reads.
I really enjoyed reading this series. It was an easy read and really liked having all 3 books together in one bundle. I look forward to seeing more in this series.

I totally enjoyed reading these books. They each have such a great storyline with new twists in each book. With also a great set of characters that help pull you into the depths of each book. Totally recommend
These 3 📚 deserve the 5 Stars I have it. It had the heroine go through so much in such a short time. To understand that she has magic she never knew she had. She tries to the right thing and be true to herself.
