Stripes, the raccoon, wants quail for dinner. A chase through the alley leads Charlie to defend his territory against the nasty neighborhood predator. Stripes, scared off by the large dog, leaves vowing to return for her quail meal.
Searching for the sunglasses proves more challenging than the team’s last case. After an exhaustive mission, the team must face defeat. They haven’t found the sunglasses and the Peterman family will be home soon.
But Charlie doesn’t quit. They’re Bill’s favorite sunglasses, and he must find them or something terrible will happen to him. Charlie pleads with his friends to continue until the very last second.

It was fun revising the 2nd book in the series, seeing Charlie and his quail buddies work together to learn new skills, putting them into practice, and enjoying the journey of a search. This book is for kids ages 8-10 and will be available April 1st. Thank you to the readers of book 1, Charlie 1st To Find, who encouraged me to finish the second, Charlie 2nd To Search, and thrilled me to continue to the 3rd book in the series, Charlie 3rd To Thank. Enjoy your journey with Charlie and his quail buddies.
