The second book in The Night is Young series by Ali Parker, One More Time is a well written romance story with well-developed characters, sizzling chemistry, instant attraction, a misunderstanding, hot sex, and a HEA.

You'll love the second book in The Night is Young series. Family, love, commitment or settling down with one woman had never been his focus. He was a wild man always looking for the next thrill. Amazing how one woman and a baby can change your life. They'll make you want things you never knew you wanted or needed. The characters are well developed and interesting. The book is one that's hard to put down once you start reading. A great addition to the series. I read a free advance copy and voluntarily chose to review it.

This is book two in The Night is Young Series and it is Caleb and Kelly's story and omg what a story it is. Caleb is part of the group called Destitute who is a world renowned rock band and he hates all the hype that surrounds it. Kelly works as a freelance reporter and blogger for GNM who is an entertainment/music magazine and she is being paid to go on tour with Destitute and write articles about it, she will also be able to spend time with her sister Alicia who is getting married to Jared from the group and she is also there PR agent. Kelly thought Caleb was really not and she has a crush on him so it was great to be able to get to know him and interview him. Caleb just did one night stands after suffering from a previous relationship and he has no intention of falling in love again or making any type of commitment ever again as he was to jaded. When Kelly and Caleb met there was a definite spark between them but would it be enough to change his mind or not. I really enjoyed reading this book and the characters and storyline was really great and it was a real page turner and I had to keep reading to see what would happen next. Ali Parker is an amazing author and writer and I definitely recommend you read this book and others by her and you will definitely not be disappointed.

Another great read by Ali Parker. She brings strong characters in Caleb , the rockstar and Kelly,an entertainment reporter. She does a great job describing her characters and painting her scenes perfectly. She pulled me in with the story line and had me glued to the pages watching the relationship evolve and grow. I loved their characters and reading their story and loved where Ali takes them. Highly recommend this book.

She’s Alicia’s sister who is engaged to Caleb’s brother. They get brought together because of their siblings and sparks fly and they end up together. He then hooks up with Kelly for fun and giggles but then she’s pregnant.

Not a problem until she gets to interview her fan girl crush Caleb Larsen. One thing leads to another and it's just sex... right?? Kelly makes Caleb realize he can't truly be happy until he gets closure from his ex that cheated on him and left him because she just wanted a quiet life. With that closure came a freedom until Kelly called it quits. She just couldn't take his happiness and freedom once he gained it because of two lines on a test. What happens when Caleb grabs life by the balls and confronts Kelly?? What happens when Kelly drops her bomb on Caleb? Will there be another hot rocker off the market or will this information crush what has just begun?? This is the second book in The Night Is Young series by the fantastic best selling author, Ali Parker,and one that you won't be able to put down. It is written with passion, humour, love, angst and compassion. Alicia is getting married to Jared who is part of the group Destitute with his brother Caleb. Now Alicia's sister, Kelly, is a blogger and reporter who has been given the job to tour with the group. Kelly has had a crush on Caleb for some time now and when she meets him it turns into something deeper. However, Caleb has a past like we all have and his heart got burned and he doesn't want to risk more heartache so he doesn't 'do' relationships anymore - just one night stands. That is, until he met Kelly! When these two meet you can practically feel the 'sparkling tension'between them of attraction and it steadily increases throughout the storyline. I love these two and Ali composed the perfect ending for them as far as I was concerned. This is a real page turner that you'll want to switch off your phone and lock the doors so that you're not disturbed whilst reading it and, of course, there is plenty of RED HOT steam when these two get together. But then there is a twist in the story that will change everything - can they survive this?To find out you're going to have to read this like I did. I received a reader's copy of the book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. Most Definitely Recommended!!

Yay! We get to come back to Destitute. (You might remember them from One More Night or Backstage Pass) This time, it’s the siblings of our previous leading couple who take center stage. This was a really sweet story, and it’s also got a good bit of spice to it. Caleb is happy for his brother’s newfound happiness. Really. He is. He’s just got some demons of his own to work out. A bad past relationship has left him doubtful of the existence of love or happily ever after. And what starts out as no-strings fun with Kelly, quickly becomes something altogether different. The chemistry between this pair was immediate and easily seen. I liked that we got to see how much more there is to both Caleb and Kelly. We’d gotten hints in the previous book, and we get the full details here. I also liked seeing the way Kelly handled the surprise. It was really close to picture perfect for me. (Alicia handles saying all of the things that kept it from getting all the way there.) In the beginning, while Caleb is still trying to figure his life out, there are some scenes with other women that didn’t really work for me, but I loved everything else about the book. And now that we’ve started to get to know a little bit more about the other members of the band, I’m really looking forward to reading books about each of them too.

I received a free copy of the steamy Los Angeles based musical band novel One More Time (The Night is Young Series #2): Caleb and Kelly by Ali Parker and this review was given freely.
A rough to heartwarming reformation of a bad boy musician romance.
This novel starts out a little rough with a "stereotypical Rock Band, playboy,one night stand, alcohol binge" celebration scene. But when you read farther, there is a touch of irony. a nice description and update on the close but diversely different Destitute band members, two close but sometimes adversarial sibling relationships, and the story of an embittered and disillusioned guitarist who almost loses his second chance at love.
Preparing for his band Destitue's first world tour, broody and skeptical lead guitarist Caleb finds his views on minimalism,love and happiness challenged by his future sister in law, Gathers No Moss entertainment magazine's newest reporter, Kelly Diamond.
Good standalone as it provides a good recap of book 1: Jared and Alicia and its characters but, best if read in series order.

Ali is on a roll with this Rockstar series and the second book is Caleb’s story. He is your typical band member hot as sin but not ready to settle down. He is playboy who is use to one night stands and has no intention on settling down after he was burned once. When his brother Jared propose to Alicia which is Kelly’s sister, they seem to find themselves being around each other quite often. Kelly is a reporter and she wants to do an interview with Caleb so when he agrees they start spending time together. The sparks are there and they begin a relationship with no strings attached of course they develop feelings for one another but neither will admit it. What will happen when a misunderstanding causes them to part ways? Will Kelly share the secret she is keeping? Will Caleb ever decide she is the one and finally settle down?
Ali has another hit in her Rockstar series. As always, she delivers a great book with wonderful characters that pack plenty of steam. I received an arc copy and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

I fell I love with Kelly and Caleb. Like most people, Caleb is jaded due to issues with an ex girlfriend who broke his heart. Kelly is a reporter with a good heart. Caleb and Kelly have an instant connection that neither can deny and she helps him realize that he is worthy of love and happiness. Ali Parker has gone and done it again. She has written a steamy yet romantic story about redemption, second chances, and forgiveness. Reading the original Night is Young series, I’m really enjoying the new direction she has taken with the new and improved version of the Night is Young series by including the members of the band and their stories into the series. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

The one that said he would never fall in love...Well...I guess you can't predict what your heart is going to do.
Kelly has had eyes on Caleb for awhile now, since her sister is engaged to his brother.
They are a part of a great band that are rising faster then anyone would guess.
But Caleb is a man whore who has no reason to stop.
Kelly is a reporter and blogger who is covering the band and their up coming tour.
Will them being together make anything happen? Will she get to see what Caleb is really make of?
Will 2 sisters be with 2 brothers?

You will have to read to find out.

I did not read the first book in this series, but really enjoyed this book as a stand-alone.

Caleb Larson is the lead guitarist of the band Destitute and Kelly is a journalist for the magazine Gather No Moss. Caleb’s brother Jared (the lead singer of Destitute) is engaged to Alicia, Kellys’ older sister.

The chemistry is palpable between Caleb and Kelly. Misunderstood by most but each other, there is just something electric every time Caleb and Kelly are together. This was such a fast paced and easy read with no angst… just a little drama to liven things up :)

I enjoyed the first book in this series and was looking forward to Caleb and Kelly's story. He's Jared's younger brother and has some issues from his past that, well, keep him stuck in the past. Kelly is Alicia's sister(Jare'd fiance) and is covering the band for her new job. She's always liked Caleb but didn't think anything would ever come of it based on his reputation. What she didn't expect was to find out how much more there was to him than meets the eye. The question is... will he be able to let go of his past and take the chance for happiness? Plenty of drama for these two as they battle their demons.

Awesome book as always from Ali Parker.
This is Caleb and Kelly's story. Caleb is very cynical about love, because of a past heartbreak, but Kelly breaks down all of his walls without him even realizing it. Life throws obstacles at them, but eventually love finds a way. I liked the characters and the plot, and can't wait for the next book in the series.
This is the second book in this series, and although it can be read as a standalone, you will enjoy it much more if you read the stories in order.
I recommend this book to anyone who likes this author or likes sweet and sexy and funny romances.

A roller coaster ride of feels

Kelly, an independent rock reporter, has wanted to see behind the mask of Caleb, guitarist for the band Destitute, ever since her sister got engaged to his brother and the lead singer for the band. As the story progresses a chance appears before her, a deeper connection forms, and just because the past is released does not mean that happiness can follow into the future. Ali Parker’s One More Time is a roller coaster ride of feels. I can only imagine the bumpy ride she has in store for Dom, Matt, and Nick.

This book is an emotional roller coaster that will keep your heart pounding. Wow! You’ll be climbing up a mountain thinking you’re almost all the way to heaven and then you misstep and you slide all the way back down with your broken heart bleeding in your hands.  Kelly and Caleb’s story covers every emotion 100% and 100% of the time. It takes you from one emotion to another not letting you catch up in between. A book that is so detailed and so magnificent, you can’t put it down. At times you will feel like you will catch fire from their passion and then feel like you have had the rug pulled out from under you. Tears and fears galore. Wonderful, wonderful book.

This is the second book in The Night is Young series and it is a very enjoyable read. You do not have to read the first book to enjoy this one. Caleb is the lead guitarist and the brother of Jared. Kelly is an entertainment reporter, as well as the sister of Alicia who is engaged to Jared. Kelly is doing interviews with the guys of Destitute. He is a player with a different woman each night, with no desire for anything serious. She has had a crush on him for quite awhile. The attraction between the two of them is on fire, but can they act on that and just stay friends? Read and see! This is a 5 star read.

Ali Parker sure knows how to write an amazingly hot romance that gets you all steamed up, hits you with all the feels and just keeps you engrossed in the story from beginning to end. I loved everything about One More Time, a hot guitarist and a sweet curvy reporter find their way to each other but not without some bumps in the road especially from the rocker who has been burned by love before and wants nothing to do with it, or so he thinks. Luckily we get an HEA with this amazing story but I warn you be prepared for non stop reading because once you start you won't be able to stop!

The second book in the Night is Young series is about Caleb and Kelly. Caleb is part of the rock band Destitute. Kelly is a reporter for an entertainment magazine who is sent to interview Caleb. They are attracted to each other and things progress from there. This is a steamy, romantic storyline. The ending is touching and sweet. If you loved the story of Alicia and Jared you’ll absolutely love the story of Alicia’s sister Kelly and Jared’s brother Caleb!
Kelly has moved to a new job and was assigned to follow Destitute the band her sister Alicia and her fiancé Jared are part of while on their world tour. In Kelly’s new role she decides to write a one-on-one interview piece with the guitar emperor Caleb. It was through those meetings Kelly falls in love with Caleb. But he’s holding back. Is it the rock star persona or something deeper. You definitely want to read this to find out.

This is book 2 in The Night is Young series. This story is about Caleb and Kelly. Caleb is a guitar player for the band, Destitute. They are deeply attracted but have some hurdles to overcome. The story is engaging and they both have pasts to heal from. The story is both complicated as well as compelling. Caleb takes a liking to her and they have a friends with benefits friendship because Caleb has relationship issues. The friendship gets carried away and they start having problems. Caleb believes his choice to stay with the band destroys and type of relationship he can have with a woman.
