Born of light. Crowned by darkness. Only he can save the Four Kingdoms... or be its end.
Should the heir of a king accept his destiny... if it means he must accept the dark?
After nine years of servitude to the enemy, Toran Binn is eager to come home—only for poverty to pummel him in the gut. Before he can recall why he escaped home in the first place, royalty is murdered. Toran must find the true killer by the end of summer or watch his best friend’s execution.
Miles of cornfields lead to an ancient, horrendous plot to end the world—which he is at the center of. Destiny shifts when the dark offers to repay him with a crown that belongs to him by blood…
Torn between love and hunger, can the seventeen-year-old save the world…or will he be its ruin?
Packed with dangerous new characters, disturbing intrigue, and slow-burning romance, this third book will leave readers hungry for more. Fans of Christopher Paolini, Brandon Sanderson, and Robin Hobb will love this.

Thirteen years later, her tomboy dreams came true.
Today, she is known worldwide as a part time hermit and a full time rebel. She is also the proud mother of birds. The family currently lounges in Florida.
When she’s not reminiscing about her gaming days or getting lost in old epics like LOTR, Jasmine writes a blend of epic, romantic, and dark fantasy to entertain and empower, especially the underdogs.

This was forwarded to me through the ARC program and because of life, it has taken a while to get my reviews posted. I am posting this as an official homeowner, yay 🥰 onto the review.
I really enjoyed reading this series, and was blessed to be able to be a reviewer for the Author. I think she did a fantastic job and each book I read gave me a different world and quenched my thirst for yet a different thing in the reading world. Toran’s story was hard on me, it is a rough journey for him in his book. I felt for him and grew to care for the outcome of his quest. Parts of it were hard to read, but it made the ending that much sweeter to me. I think the feeling of redemption really made all his suffering and toiling worth it in the end. This book also made me look forward to the final book so I could get inside the Phoenix’s brain. This book has the thrills, chills, intrigue, and a bit of romance that makes a book a good page turner. Definitely check it out!

This is a brilliant read. Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start. Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable. Great suspense and action with wonderful world building. Can't wait to read what the author brings out next. Recommend reading.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
I was lucky enough to get an advanced look at this great book. This book is easy to pick up, and not put down. It's dark, twisted plot make for a entrancing read. I'll continue to read this series or any other Jasmine chooses to write.
To be honest, I was lucky enough to get an ARC copy of the book "FLAMEBORN'' and I found the story intriguing. In my opinion, from plotting to world building everything was developed well and the characters development is awesome. Also, the book cover of "FLAMEBORN" is so captivating and caught my attention at first glance. Overall, I'd like to recommend this book to others. No spoilers.
This one was certainly darker than the other two. Was it good? Yes. Was it suspenseful? Certainly. Was it a hard ending? Unequivocally. Would I still recommend the series? Absolutely. Am I glad I waited to read this until very close to the release of book four? Definitely!! I want to know how this is going to resolve; the characters are well-written, fallible, imperfect, growing. All important elements in a story well-told. Thank you, Jasmine, for writing a good "escape" series.
I just read this book over the weekend. I enjoy the characters, the world building and storyline. I enjoy fun, fast, easy reads like this, and I’m a sucker for a great series, which this one is. Go get a copy and enjoy the read. 🙂👍

A thrilling read, that kept me engrossed from start to finish. Amazing characters, unexpected plot twists, and brilliant world building! I'm anxiously waiting for the next installment in the series!!!
Dark intrigue ,weird magic, multiple scenarios over-all a good read. I am an Honest ARC reviewer, and read this story in a few days. I usually give Ms. Young 5 stars for her awesome writing skills, However This time it wasn't there IMHO , I struggled to incorporate the Chinese , with the western invader theme, And the shadows were overcoming reality for the lead guy at times further confusing me. the World Building was great, Character building good, And the Story-line was ok. Maybe I missed the 1st 2 books in the series and that's why i was less than amazed this time.
This book gave me chills I have never experienced before. This book was amazing and Toran had amazing character development. From a chubby little boy who was scared of a lot many things, he went to a boy who sacrificed himself for the world. There wasn't much romance in this book, but honestly, there was no way you could have focused on the romance with the mystery and horror this book brought. Flamborn is a book much deeper than Stormfire and Queen Of Diamonds. Toran reminds me so much of myself. I could relate to him a lot. This book also showed Jaime's and Toran's friendship much deeply. You have to read this book. You have to read this entire series. I loved it soo much💜💜💜💜.
