Christmas Down Under #1

Noah: A Snowy Christmas

Rate this book
All Noah’s life, he’s craved what a white Christmas.

Living in New Zealand, he doesn’t often get the chance to see snow-sprinkled pine trees and crackling hearths hung with stockings. This might just be his lucky year, however, because the Auckland rugby team has decided to fly to New York City for the holidays.

The city might be a little colder than the sexy rugby player expected, but Noah is about to meet someone that definitely lights his fire.

The moment he locks eyes with a buxom redheaded singer at the Christmas lodge where he’s staying, he can’t think of anyone else. This holiday, it isn’t sugarplums dancing in Noah’s head – it’s a beautiful woman with the voice of an angel.

Sadie’s just an American girl living the American dream – kind of.

She’s always known she wanted to be a singer, but her career has stalled out on this stage at a winter inn. She’s been yearning for a bit of extra spice this Christmas, and this hunky Kiwi could be just what she’s looking for.

Snow might be falling outside, but these two smitten lovebirds are going to have no trouble staying warm in each other’s arms.

Noah is the Christmas special of the NZ Rugby Romance Series and Book 1 of Christmas Down Under, but each of these short and spicy romances can be read and enjoyed all on their own. With no cliffhangers or cheating, expect a sizzling but sweet love story featuring rugged athletes and their feisty heroines finding happily ever after! This festive romance is sure to keep you hot and toasty no matter how chilly it gets outside!

I received a free ARC copy in exchange for my honest review. This is my own opinion and was not influenced by anyone.

In Noah, A Snowy Christmas Christmas Down Under, Volume 1 we are again with the guys from the Auckland rugby team. They have their own series by Eva Foxx. Noah is a new member of the team when they decide to spend Christmas together in a snowy resort in New York.

Noah hears a voice that beckons him to follow. He finds Sadie singing Christmas songs. They lock eyes across the room and things will never be the same. One problem: she is not allowed to fraternize the guests.

This quick read story is a sweet holiday read. Noah and Sadie have chemistry. We also get to see Coach Liam, Jax, Manu, Ryder, Kai and Grey. I love the rapport between the guys. Grab a hot chocolate and enjoy the book. I did.

Utterly Charming Christmas Romance

This is a very short, quick-read novella, but the author has managed to avoid the trap I typically see in such short stories: the dreaded info dump. Instead, she introduces us immediately to the entire New Zealand rugby team as they arrive at a snowy inn in the US at Christmas, and they are a lot of fun… even in that brief scene! Their Kiwi-ness comes across immediately in certain words and phrases, and that only added to the charm. The author's writing style is immersive and smooth, drawing me right into the story and keeping me there until the end. The couple certainly had chemistry, and I enjoyed following their romantic arc. A well-done story, and one that can be enjoyed over the course of lunch or quick dinner.

I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.

Sadie worked at a big tourist Lodge where she sang as the entertainment. The employees weren’t allowed to mix with the guests at all while off work., they had to stay in their room if they weren’t working. Noah was a member on an Auckland rugby team and they had decided to go on vacation for Christmas holidays together to the Lodge in New York where Sadie just happened to be working. When Noah and Sadie laid eyes on each other for the first time, they knew something special was happening they had a fast and fun romance in this interesting love story

Eva Foxx is a new to me author. This was a quick spicy read with a Christmas theme. Noah and some rugby buddies visit the US for a Christmas holiday wanting to to experience snow and all it’s activities. The first night at the lodge Noah hears Sadie sing and is totally mesmerized by her voice and beauty. Sadie is performing her usual show when she locks eyes with a handsome stranger. The chemistry and heat will definitely make for a warm holiday but what will happen afterwards?

A nice and short story, the structure and the great characters.
There is plenty of hot scenes between Sadie and Noah. Sadie works at the resort where Noah and his rugby team spend the holidays. When Noah and Sadie take a look at each other, the spark immediately ignites and you are taken on their adventure.

Sufficiently hot scenes, it is a great story to fully immerse yourself in it.
I had trouble putting it down, and I finished it right away.

This book is highly recommended !!!!

This is part of the NZ rugby series but is a separate character with only cross overs to the other characters so if you wanted you could read it separately but why would you the series is such good fun

Noah has travelled to the USA with the rugby team this will be his first chance to see snow but little does he know how it will change his life. Not sure what he wants to do on arrival at the hotel he hears a woman singing and goes to investigate He sees Sadie and knows that she is even more important than seeing that snow because she is his future

This is the story of Noah and Sadie. Noah is visiting the resort the where Sadie sings. He hears her voice and goes to find the voice that is so beautiful. They lock eyes and that is it. Claude the owner of the resort has a no fraternizing with the guests. So they sneak around but get caught. I loved the characters and the way the story presented itself. I love how everything came full circle. Great short story with a holiday feel.

The New Zealand rugby team is in New York for Christmas. While at the lodge, Noah is drawn to the lounge where an angle sings out to him. Sadie loves she what she does, singing, even if her boss runs the lodge like prison with a strict rules. One of those rules is to engage with the guest. While singing, she is drawn to a handsome man in the back, just the intense look has her stumbling over her words.

Noah is a sweet holiday romance full of heat, passion and love perfect for the season.

This short Christmas story is such a feelgood story. Kiwi rugby players are clearly the stories to read this season. Storyline was good and the characters even better. The only thing I was wondering about was where were all the wives of the previous stories??? Other than that I just loved it. Fine four stars go to this story.

The words, you’re fired, didn’t have the effect on Sadie as her warden boss, Claude. In fact, they TOTALLY backfired on him and allowed her to make bail from the prison (may as well have had bars on the doors and windows) she’d been working in before Noah came along. Nothing like the love of a good man to give courage that wasn’t there previously!!

Noah is in the states with our favorite Auckland rugby team. Enjoying the snaps, the states and the auburn haired dish on the stage crooning out holiday cheer. Due to stipulations from the resort owner, having secret rendezvous is needed. But for how long? No cliff

Sizzling chemistry that could melt the snow Noah wanted to experience. Sparks fly between him and Sadie and they ended up getting more than they expected. The story is short but sweet and with the right amount of sizzle to keep you warm.
