Gorgeous ninja girls vs monks so ugly they never take off their helmets!
Martial arts and cultivation vs cyberpunk tech and oppressive regimes!
Weddings and a spa day vs saving Neo-Hokkaido from tyrannical jackbooted thugs!
Micah, his vulgar grandmother, and his team of sexy ninja girls uncovered plenty of secrets in their first adventure, but the party is just getting started: The Society of Monks has struck again in the vilest way possible. It's up to Micah and crew to put an end to these evil bucket-headed chucklef***s, but to do so, they're going to have to think outside the box.
Help Micah increase his cultivation, his body count, and his bedmates in this exciting addition to the My Ninja Girl series by bestselling author Gideon Caldwell.
The second book in this series from Gideon Caldwell, the pen name of Harmon Cooper, Author Prolific.
An easy, enjoyable, and fun read, with stunning, sexy ninja women, Choro the 'gadget' guy, and Micah Regent, the one who started it all. Well, actually, his grandmother started it all by sending him to the shrine with a mantra...
Anyway, this is another action-packed book, with a grandmother so wholly indelicate she could've been born Scottish! (I am Scottish, so I can say that.) For me, any scenes she is in, she steals the whole show. Wonderfully cringeworthy.
Gideon writes a plot very well, the characters are full to bursting with honesty and always try to do the right thing regardless of consequences. The baddies are R E A L L Y bad, and there's nothing funnier to me than fighting nuns. I could be alone here, but I doubt it. (My brain is like an episode of Monty Python's Flying Circus. Honest.)
This is a very emotive tale. Granny loves it, so ladies, get your hats ready. I'm a bit unsure about a wee part of this, but time will tell if it was the right thing to do. Drawn back to this world straight from the Recap, you'll not be able to put it down. Excellent!
I chose an early copy which I voluntarily read and honestly reviewed. All opinions are my own.
It's another enjoyable read as Book 2 raises the bar and of course i shouldn't be surprised as Caldwell is the pen name/ alter ego of the successful Harmon Cooper. His branching into cultivation genres blends well with this harem adventure and helps keep this heads above the usual Gamelit/ LitRPG that has become so popular. What i like is these series are very enjoyable without going on forever and making the heroes or MCs so powerful that power creep makes any real antagonists unrealistic. The world building is very good as is the moments of passion and fighting that abounds within. My only issues, is with so many series on this authors plate he waits until 100 reviews before we can look forward to more installments making it a bit harder to await the next great read. So hopefully the gushing and fan reviews makes this happen sooner rather than later.
I am really enjoying this series and am anxious for book 3. I am happy to find out that this series will be more than just 2 books as well. The pacing in the second book is very good, plenty of action as well as a few fun twists. The only downside for me is I would have liked to see a little more character development or a bit more detailed history of the Ninja Girls. There are smatterings of it mixed in the story but not as much as I would have liked. Overall excellent story well worth the read.
Sexy ninjas versus bucket-headed monks, let the battle begin...
The second installment of My Ninja Girl continues the conflict between our hero Micah and his Ninja Girls as they try to break the stranglehold the monks have on the government. With the monks hot on their trail, Marcus must finish his training with industria and find a way to save the people of the city from their biochemical attacks. In the meantime, there's still his wedding to his Ninja Girl Yuri to attend to. Life can be difficult when your grandmother expects you to be a hero.
Book two of My Ninja Girl was a lot of fun to read. It had a solid pace and wasn't light on character development and action. But more than that, it is an interesting story and setting. Saying Micah's grandmother is vulgar is rude. She is, to me, quite normal. Further, if more people were like her - perhaps the setting itself would be drastically different.
A fun, al-reality, dystopian adventure with hot ninjas that apparently share something in common with the Mormons.
Fantasy harem adult situations ninjas Book 2 picks up speed. Micah marries Yuri and after the bomb goes off... well, I don't want to reveal any more spoilers. Betrayals and frantic escapes, and new allies join Micah and his friends. Rollicking fun with ninjas, a kitsune, a big bunny girl, in a high-tech cyber-punk alternate Japan fighting the good fight. Recommended.
The book was so fun to read it just flowed along in a wonderful way. The characters continue to grow and evolve into excellent characters. The world building is top notch and I really look forward to reading the next book. I was given a advanced copy for a honest review and the book rocked.
Lots of action, hot harem ninja girls, game lit, and very graphic sex scenes. This is book 2 in the series, so you probably already know if you want to read it. If it is the type of book you enjoy, you’ll love it.
Contains lots of really graphic sex scenes. The kids will want to read it, but tell them no.
Oh wow, this story keeps getting better and better!! I love the way Micah grows into his role as humble leader and is loved more and more by his family and friends!!
As any catholic school boy can tell you Monks are truly evil. We can also verify that Ninja Babe's are every boys dream come true. Build a plot around that an it makes a great story.
Kitsune Time Kitsune Time Kitsune Time Kitsune Time Kitsune Time Kitsune Time Kitsune Time Kitsune Time Kitsune Time Kitsune Time. Ok that's out of the way. I demand book 3!.
Fast paced and lots of action both in and out of the bedroom. This is a good story looking forward to the author growing the characters in the future books.
