That one night changed my life.

I could chalk it up to the fact that I hadn’t had a night off in a while.
Being the new veterinarian in town has kept me pretty busy.
But it was more than that.
The instant attraction between us was too much to resist, so I took him home with me.
I had no regrets…
Until he left the next morning.
No note. No goodbye. No nothing.
I thought I’d never see him again and figured he was just passing through town.
Then I found out he’s none other than Derrick Keller, the owner of the biggest ranch in town.
Our paths are going to cross. Probably a lot.
He’s hot. He’s cold.
And I don’t have time for that.
All I want to know is why he left when it was just getting good.

Welcome to Forest Grove.
It’s a small town in the hills of Tennessee where everyone knows each other and love always prevails.

For one reason or another, the people may leave, but they each return to find love and romance in this small town with a big heart.

Coming Home to the Grove is a series of interconnected, stand-alone small-town romance stories. Each book promises a sweet, steamy, happily ever after.

This one was quite a story of a modern dating life. An ONS turned into misunderstanding and lead to another misunderstanding. I liked how realistic the story could be; how the H didn't understand the h and vice versa and none of the wiser even when their friends tried to encourage them to plunge headfirst in a relationship. Both had their own skepticism to love and romance overall, and thus lead to misunderstanding. It was kinda nice actually. Despite all those misunderstandings, not much of drama going on. And no exes to actually make things messy too.

No virgin
Rancher alpha H, independent local vet h
No drama
No OW, OM was a friend who H thought as rival
No cheating
Safe read, HEA, Epilogue
Overall score: 3 safe read stars

I thought that this was a really good book. I loved the drama that this book had; it keep me hooked! Derrick and Olivia weren't really looking for more but they both felt more with each other and because a misunderstanding and eavesdropping, they almost didn't get their HEA but this a Hope Ford book so of course they got their wonderful HEA! I can't wait for the rest of the series! I would recommend this book, this series and Ms. Hope's other books.

Olivia has returned to Forest Grove as the new vet in town after working non-stop through school. When she decides to go out on the town she meets handsome cowboy Derrick and takes him home for the night something she has never done before. After spending a wonderful night with him she gets a call in the morning from her friend Kyle and when Derrick hears her on the phone he thinks she has a boyfriend and leaves asap. Olivia is shocked when she finds he has left without explanation and thinks he really did not like her but when she goes out to check on a bloated horse on a ranch she runs into Derrick and his brother Trent who she knows because he is dating her friend. Things get a little uncomfortable with Derrick and Olivia but they act like nothing happened but she really liked him and he felt the same way about her. Can they straighten out the situation and get back to liking each other?

Olivia is the new vet in Forest Grove. She has been working her butt off since coming to town and decides to go and get a beer. She is sassy, smart, and sexy. Derek is a big rancher with his brother. He doesn’t usually take time out to go into town but he decides to go in and play some pool with the ranch hands. Derek sees Olivia and asks her to play some pool then they do darts with him. They go home together and in the morning Derek overhears a conversation with Olivia talking to a “Kyle”. He gets up and leaves without saying anything. Olivia thought there was something there. Derek thought there was something there. What is going to happen now? Derek and Olivia can they work this out? Does Derek want it to work? The characters are likable and their story is original. It is a fun little read with some sexy, hot moments!

Fucking hell she was so pathetic. I do not recommend if you want to read a woman who has a decent sense of self preservation.

That Night, Book 4 of the Coming Home To The Grove series, was about Dr. Olivia (no last name given again), a new veterinarian in town, and Derrick Keller (the older brother to Trent from Book 1), co-owner of the Keller Ranch with his two brothers.
Derrick and Olivia met in the local bar, played darts, and then pool together before going back to her place for the night. Neither gave the other their full name, just relying on first names. The following morning Derrick overheard her talking to a man named Kyle (Richards, the first baseman from Book 3) and thought she had a boyfriend she had cheated on with him. So rather than giving her time to explain or even leaving her a note saying it was fun but gotta go, he left without saying a word.
When he saw Olivia later on his ranch, he realized she was the new vet. But then she pretended to not know him. That made for several awkward days between them going back and forth between hot and cold with each other. When the misunderstanding finally got addressed, it was all over and they were a couple.
This story moved way too fast and felt incomplete. It had so many holes in the plot and it left the reader wanting more. Although both main characters were in their late twenties to early thirties, they both acted childishly in their refusal to address the issue head-on.
There was a lot of drama and angst, but the spicy scenes weren't so spicy. They were just as rushed as the story, which brought the rating down to only two stars.
Once again the final epilogue was from the POV of the FMC from the next book in the series.

Another fun read in this series it is a romance that draws you in and keep you engaged we have met both if the main characters in earlier books in this series but it can be read as a stand alone story

Olivia is the new vet in town and she has been working some long hours so when she gets the chance she decides she is going to have a night out She meets Derrick and the attraction between them is instant but neither wants anything permanent so a one night hook up is perfect Olivia is a little miffed next morning when she wakes to find Derrick gone and he hasn't even left a note But that OK he was only a stranger passing through Only he wasn't she soon discovers he is non other than Derrick Keller the owner of the largest ranch in the area and someone she will have to deal with fairly regularly. Why did Derrick leave the way he did and can this person who doesn't like dealing with emotions or people realise what he really wants when it comes to the lovely Olivia Can they get a HEA read to see

You going to go riding or what?
This book is about Olivia and Derrick. She is the new vet in town, and he is a ranch owner. They go out (separately) after a long day at work, to the Roadside Diner and Bar. There’s an instant, mutual attraction between the two of them, and they hook up together.
They share a night of passion, but a misunderstanding has Derrick rushing off without a word to Olivia. She felt something more, but she also thinks that her one-night of one was just that, and not expecting to see him again… until she does, unexpectedly.
There’s a bit of drama, but nothing some good communication and honesty can’t fix. They’re sweet and steamy, and just fit right, to me. I did however feel like it ended too abruptly for them. I hope the next book gives us an insight into what has happened next for them. I give this book four and a quarter stars.

Loved it

Brilliant fourth book of the series. Olivia is the towns new vet and meets Derrick Keller after spending the night together Derrick just leaves while she is on the phone.
Derrick can’t believe the night he has just had he is more of a love and leave them but he spent all night with Olivia he thought it was more but he hears speaking to a Kyle and that implying she was her own so he left.
Olivia can’t understand Derrick once she found out who he was and having to go on the ranch to help his steed out he keeps blowing hot and cold with her. Olivia goes to her friend Lacy and talks about him and realises that she just needs to go talk to him and that is what she does only to find out it was a misunderstanding that he thought Kyle was her boyfriend.
Now Derrick has Olivia he will make sure that she stays where she belongs with him.

They both just want a bit of fun and end up with something way more unexpected

That Night is the fourth book in the Coming Home To The Grove series and is the story of Olivia and Derrick. This is a sweet and sexy story with and interesting couple who both want a bit of fun and end up with that and something more. There is some drama, miscommunications, romance and some sizzling sexy action all woven with a couple nice characters, her more than him as I did want to cuff him upside the head for the way he acted a couple of times.
This book was very enjoyable and a nice quick read that is a good addition to the series.

Olivia the vet in town is looking for some fun. She and Derrick hook up and he leaves, no note, no calls, nothing. She finds out who he is and knows they will be seeing each other again at least professionally. So Derrick is not a people person and his communication skills are lacking. He overheard something and took it all wrong but did not talk about it he just left. I love this series and I love the town and the people in it. The story moved along really well and the characters were just well writen and rounded. I want to move there. Great series.

I love this series about a small town, The Grove. The people are kind and the descriptive details really bring this place to life. In this story Olivia and Derrick spend a great night together but are sepearated by a misunderstanding. Will they figure out what went wrong and have their own happily ever after? This was a good story! I liked the dual POV, how they are both good people with insecurities and their supportive circle of friends and family. Another sweet, romantic and passionate addition to this series and I look forward to Crissy's story next!

I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book.

This is the fourth book in the Coming Home To The Grove series, it can be read as a standalone story. No cliffhangers, no cheating.

This book is well-written with a fast-paced sweet and steamy storyline, Derrick and Olivia have sizzling chemistry the first night they meet however a misunderstanding made them strangers after that. Plenty of angst and emotion in this story. Both Derrick and Olivia are wonderful characters, I'm glad that they managed to work through the problem to get a HEA.

Holy smokes this book was absolutely fantastic and will have you hooked from the beginning until the end and keep you wanting more. Olivia is back in town as the new vet and finally takes a night out to relax and enjoy herself and meets a hot cowboy Derrick and when sparks between them can they make it work or will it fizzle out the next morning? I absolutely the characters in this book and just love this series.

This book sucked me in so fast that when I got to the epilogues I was shocked I read it so fast, & sad that another coming home to the grove book was done. Olivia and Derrick both seemed to be twin flames and I had no doubt they would have an HEA, but it was funny to see them fight their deep feelings for each other and act like they weren’t constantly thinking about “that night.” This was a great addition to the series and I can’t wait for Chrissy’s book and hopefully epilogue for all the couples after they are settled and thriving.🥰

That Night is the story of Derrick, who is the owner of the largest ranch in Forrest Grove along with his brother, and Olivia, who is a new veterinarian to the same community. After a one night stand, Derrick leaves without a word and Olivia is left wondering why. This is a well written romance with great and realistic characters and a storyline with misunderstandings, drama, and steamy attraction. I recommend this great read.

This one pulled me in from the beginning and held me til the end. The characters are engaging, have wonderful chemistry that leaps off the pages and are easy to love. The writing flows smoothly from page to page, is enjoyable and well written. It's part of a series but can be read as a stand alone book and doesn't end on a cliffhanger.

Heart Mountains.
An amazing book. Derrick is not the most friendly person in town. He’s just not a people person. So when he meets the curvy, sexy brunette he decides he is do a little bit of fun. Olivia is looking for a fun time and wants to get to know Derrick. After they have a wonderful night together he vanishes the next morning. What happened to make him leave?mount up and find out, folks.

A quick sweet romance read.

A quick romance read this newest addition to Coming Home To The Grove series did not disappoint. What was suppose to be a one night stand becomes more for Olivia, but Derrick has another plan. Missed opportunity, no communication and just plan it’s his fault will have not liking Derrick as much but he redeemed himself and I’m glad Olivia finds her unexpected HEA. I can’t wait for the next read in this enjoyable and sweet series.

Another great read in this series! The characters are very relatable and are well matched to each other. Olivia and Derrick are looking for more than a ONS. When they meet at a bar and there’s a sizzling attraction they decide, why not. After explanations over some eavesdropping and miscommunications the two decide they’ve found what they were looking for.

I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

A story of two people who have a one night stand which abruptly ends due to a misconception. The story had a good flow and it was interesting to see where the author would take the characters once they realize that neither one was blameless if there even was blame to be assigned. I liked this story mainly due to the characters who had amazing chemistry.

I enjoyed Olivia’s story as it wasn’t predictable where she got together with Kyle. I love that they could be friends. Her chemistry with Derrick is unmistakeable. I was frustrated that they kept going around in circles instead of just speaking but the story isn’t long and doesn’t leave us in suspense for long. Can’t wait for the next story!

More Than One Night

Derrick is all work with no plans to settle down, keeping to One night stands but when he meets Olivia he feels something more. Too bad a misunderstanding has Derrick running before he and Olivia really have a chance. It is going to take these two some time to figure it out before they get their HEA in this fun read.

Love short story series

Who doesn't love a moody cowboy story. Derrick is the ultimate cowboy. Olivia is the new vet in town. I enjoyed reading their rocky courtship (for a better phrase). These stories make me crave for more. Thanks for reliving my questions about Brody and his wife. Enjoy reading this book, you can't miss :)

A story your mind gets lost in, where you feel what the characters feel isn't enough to read just once. It's something you want to experience over and over. The love, lust, betrayal, loss everything. A good book can get your heart pumping, your belly dipping, and your body tingling. It's something a person can experience, no matter how many times you read it.
