I live a quiet life with my husband and two dogs. All the excitement I need is in my books. And my full name is Lisa Alice Grant. But I couldn't resist using my initials.
“Knight Bound (The Return of the Queen Book 4)” by L.A. Grant pgs. Kindle may vary 146 (1 Day read if you read fast) Fantasy/Implied Erotica Mature Readers only. Our author is extremely clever and not only makes it a modern-day story using our main character our Queen Arlena Hopesyer who was King Arthur of Camelot and his Knights of the Round Table. Though there are only four of the twelve knights, these knights are: Percival or now known as Percy, Lancelot or Lance, Galahad or Hayden and Gawain or Wane as well as Merlin who all have chapters in the book as well as two other characters. You are also introduced to yet another knight Bedovere or Evan who has been captured by Morgana on his travels back to Avalon. This helps the reader to connect with each character a little better as well as making the story more enlightened. It was a little slow in parts. The other thing is it seems all the women are involved in Polyamorous relationships which kinda gets old. Not as fast moving as the first two books and to be honest it would just be better to combine books 1 – 4 and make one complete story.
In this short story the Queen and her knights have several missions. One to save the witches from being completely overtaken and disposed of; the removal of evil both in the modern world as well as in the magical realm; finding the knight Evan; and integrating into a new world order. No small feat though with the help of new friends, the knights of old and enemies who aren’t really enemies the Queen begins to led her people one step at a time towards the light.
I guess Gwen is redeemable but she has a lot to answer for. She has to understand how Arthur had an entire kingdom relying on him. I mean the man saw her leave with essentially hos best friend and didn't stop them or imprison them. So like wth?
