Gianni has come to Good Hope to help out Marigold and Charlotte in their Hair Salon. Both women are expecting and cannot put in as much time as they use to. Gianni has recently lost the man she loved and is not interested in finding anyone to replace him. Ethan has finally decided that after all his traveling that coming back home to Good Hope is the best thing he could do. Gianni and Ethan meet at a new years eve party and Ethan sense there is something different in Gianni that he is drawn to. Although in the beginning he agrees to just friendship with her the more time they spend together he realizes this woman is the one, he just has to convince her. This story touches on dealing with grief (Gianni)and a somewhat unhappy childhood. Being able to overcoming it all to find happiness. Ethan coming into his own and being able to stand out from a powerful strong minded father. Its always a delight heading back to Good Hope and catching up with past couples. In this title we get a glimpse Charlotte Piper Marigold Bea and a few others. Last but certainly not least no Good Hope book would not be complete with out Gladys Katherine and Ruby who takes credit for bringing many of the couples together. This series theme shows sense of family, community and helping their citizens in time of need. Giving arc by the author for an honest review.
This was one of the best contemporary romances I've ever read. Cindy Kirk writes characters that I want to befriend, and settings where I want to live. This story is about two people coming together and dealing with the baggage from prior relationships. It also deals with unrequited love, and how a person needs to move on to get their own happy ending. During these dark times, it's always good to take a mental vacation to Good Hope to uplift your spirit. I received an advanced reader's copy from the publisher in exchange for my honest review.
Charming and heart-tugging contemporary romance in Good Hope. I love the sense of community Kirk has created within this small Wisconsin town. With each book published, I feel like I'm journeying home to spend time with good friends...and make new ones. Whether the first visit or the 16th, there's a feeling of warmth and welcome as readers travel an often bumpy and always emotional journey to love and happy endings.
This is one of my favorite Good Hope books yet! This town would be a wonderful home in which to live - a great sense of community and such a variety of wonderful residents! Gianna is helping at the salon since the two owners are both expecting babies. She wanted to get away from Chicago anyway, since her partner had died and his children were making her life miserable. The love story between Ethan and Gianna is beautiful - no secrets or lies - just two people becoming friends and learning to love!
I'd recommend this series to people who love small town romance or even think they might - it is great!
Thanks to the author and publisher for an ARC of the book.
Gianna has come to Good Hope to temporarily help out a friend. She will substitute in a hair salon until the two hairdressers have their babies and are able to return to work. She is from Chicago. In that city, she lived with an older, very wealthy man. He died last Christmas and she needs to be in a different place now that it is Christmas again. His adult children have made her life miserable by portraying her in the news as someone who was a money hungry bimbo. She loved him and he loved her.
At a New Years party, she meets Ethan. He is from Good Hope and is a part of the fabric of the small town. He loves living there and the feeling of being a part of the community. Ethan takes pride in helping Good Hope grow and prosper.
When he sees Gianna, he is bowled over.
She is beautiful and smart and funny. She states right up front that she is not interested in any kind of relationship. But, she is open to finding a friend. They have a good conversation and there is a connection.
Because Good Hope is a small town, she and Ethan run into one another on a regular basis. He has her cut his hair. They share a pizza. He introduces her to lots of people.
And all the while they are getting to know one another. Ethan is more and more attracted to her. Gianna does not want to admit that she is very attracted to Ethan. His kindness and character are working their way through her defenses.
This is a lovely story about two people who have many reasons to be separate from the world. The same two people are unable to prevent the attraction between them.
Gianna and Ethan are a perfect couple. Both of them are intelligent, caring, and funny. Both of them are driven to excel. And both of them need to find someone who will cherish them.
One of the perks of this story are the sightings of characters from earlier stories. The story can stand alone. But, I highly recommend that if you have not read earlier books in the series, it will heighten your enjoyment of this story and all the others.
Good Hope is a warm place to land. The people who live there are strongly involved in caring for one another and doing good for one another. In fact, it is a perfect small town that would welcome everyone and draw them into the warmth of this ideal small town.
I was fortunate enough to receive an early copy of the book from the author. But, I am voluntarily writing this review and all opinions are completely my own.
It's always such a treat to pay a visit to Good Hope. Over the series of books, we have got to know all the characters living there and it's always good to see how characters from previous books are getting on. I'd love to live in Good Hope. It has such a warm, welcoming, cosy feel to the town. The characters who we've met in the books are people I'd be intrigued to meet in real life. There are one or two I don't think I'd get on with, but that is what makes things realistic!
In this latest book, we meet Gianna who is the new hairstylist that established characters Marigold and Charlotte have brought in to look after the salon whilst they are both on maternity leave. Gianna had previously lived in the city, but after the death of her partner (and the way that his adult children subsequently treated her), she feels she doesn't belong there anymore, which is how she ends up in Good Hope. At a party on New Year's Eve, she meets Ethan Shaw. Ethan has been a feature of the Good Hope stories for a while now. He's the brother of Eliza (who we met in Book 5, Say I Do in Good Hope) and he's flitted in and out of the books since then, but we've never really got a chance to know much about him until now. He's always seemed like quite a mystery to me so I was pleased that we would get to know him in this book.
I won't say too much about the plot as I don't want to spoil it for you, but there's lots of twists and turns along the way. There are lots of other little plots involving other characters (setting things up for further books?) and I liked how this story was also about friendship too. Two of the first people Gianna met when she moved to Good Hope were Oaklee and Evie and this book dealt with the challenges that Gianna's and Oaklee's friendship in particular faced.
This was book 16 in the Good Hope series, but can definitely be read as a standalone book too. For me, I'd recommend that people read the whole series because it is great, but that is not necessary for you to enjoy this book. Cindy is really great at reminding us about characters and what has happened previously so even if you haven't read the other books, you won't be confused. I love how we are getting to know more of the town as well as other newcomers. There's definitely a lot of scope for future books.
I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from the publisher and am voluntarily reviewing it.
Cindy Kirk pairs entrepreneur Ethan Shaw and hair stylist Gianna Ricci in Finding Home in Good Hope. Gianna is a newcomer to Good Hope and the author’s choice of pairing the couple drew me into the novel. Ethan Shaw and Gianna Ricci meet at Marigold Rallis’s New Year’s Eve party. They form a tentative friendship over champagne and appetizers. This does not go unnoticed by the town’s matchmaker Gladys Berthholf. She has decided that Ethan and Gianna would make the perfect couple. Gladys is reminded by her friend Ruby that Oaklee Marshall thinks of Ethan as hers. Cindy Kirk’s choice to incorporate a love triangle into this story was an excellent decision. There are several complications; Oaklee is friendly with Gianna, she thinks she’s in love with Ethan and she has helped Gladys match several couples. Cindy Kirk writes a fabulous story for Oaklee. The author’s descriptive writing style shines during the scene where Gladys announces that Ethan will be matched with Gianna, not Oaklee--it’s heartbreaking, compassionate and loaded with emotion. Gladys’s announcement causes a rift between the longtime friends and provides Oaklee with the breathing room to grow from the experience. I liked the chemistry between Ethan and Gianna and that Ethan understood Gianna‘s hesitation in beginning a new relationship. Ethan made a conscious decision to keep things friendly-so Gianna wouldn’t be scared off. I laughed when I read Ethan’s reaction to answering Gladys’s relationship card questions and hoped the cards would deal him a winning hand. Knowing that there was chemistry between the couple made reading their slow burn romance very enjoyable. Finding Home in Good Hope is an entertaining read filled with emotion, heartbreak and romance. I love the Good Hope series because of the strong sense of community, caring and friendship. I adore Cindy Kirk’s voice as she weaves themes of friendship, family and relationships in each novel. I adored Finding Good Hope because of its theme of finding your forever love—it was the perfect] Valentine’s Day weekend read.
Have you been waiting for Oaklee's story since she came bounding into our lives during pastor Dan and Katie Rose's story? I know I have been well I have good news and bad news. This trip to Good Hope definitely has a lot of Oaklee … but it's not Oaklee's love story. At first I was a little upset and disappointed (Just like our Oaklee). I had been excited and couldn't wait to find out what would happen between Oaklee and Ethan and their flirty relationship. My disappointment grew into true contentment by the end of this story. We get a greater understanding of who Ethan Shaw really is and what he has dealt with as a child and a young adult. We also through Oakley's friendship with Gianna understand that Oakley is still very young and there's a reason why her arc has taken so long. This story stars on New Year's Eve at Marigold's house. Gianna is new to Good Hope and is escaping from Chicago and dealing with a broken heart and a scandal she would soon like to forget about. Gianna is in town to help Marigold and Charlotte at the salon while the two of them prepare for their new arrivals and their maternity leave. Gianna isn't looking for love she is looking for an escape but when fate brings Ethan Shaw into her life she finds herself rethinking not only her future but her past. Gianna's story is rich and deep and truly wonderful to read and follow. I love that we get a glimpse into where Marigold, Charlotte and some of my other favorite characters are in this new journey in Good Hope. Eliza and Kyle show up and I am so glad to get an update on them as well as see that wonderful brother sister relationship of theirs. Gianna and Ethan find while they aren’t looking for love and happiness their true goal of just friendship grows to something much deeper. Take another trip back to Good Hope with Gianna and Ethan and find home as well. I can’t wait for the next story and to see where Oaklee and Isaac might take us. I received an Advanced Reader Copy from the publisher and am voluntarily reviewing it. What can you not love about Good Hope? If you are a series reader, this book will surprise you. This book gives you a good look at characters that have just been on the periphery of previous books.
Gianna Ricci is the new stylist Marigold and Charlotte brought in to handle customers while they were out on maternity leave. She may be young but she has a lot of experience. Gianna was spending her first Christmas alone. She had been in a relationship with an older, very wealthy gentlemen who died unexpectedly right before Christmas the year before. She is currently in a fight with his kids over the money he left to her.
Ethan Shaw knew from the moment he laid eyes on Gianna that she was different and special. Fortunately or unfortunately, the town matchmaker, Gladys and her crew noticed as well. Everything was set into to place to finally fix Ethan up. Oaklee has become a part of the Matchmaking Crew and has also become good friends with Gianna and Evie, the receptionist at the salon. All the girls are in their early 20s and not in a relationship.
Oaklee has had her eye on Ethan and was very displeased to find out he was not being matched with her. This caused a huge riff between Oaklee and both groups of friends. Because I felt like I knew Oaklee from reading previous books in the series, I was surprised at the way she reacted to this situation. I also think that is what made the book. Just when you think you know where the book is going, it takes an unexpected journey that you are not sure if you are going to like but have to see how it is going to end.
Don't worry. Readers will still get their beloved HEA but who will Ethan finally set his sights on is anybody's guess. The outside influences are everywhere and readers won't know what will happen next in this lovely town. Don't get me wrong Good Hope is the same "neighbors helping neighbors" town, but some things go down when dealing with the young single. You will enjoy this book and Cindy will pull you down the road with her like she always does.
OMG – Love GOOD HOPE! This is about Gianna and Ethan and maybe Evie and Oaklee. Okay one thing to know about this story is that Good Hope is a community that everyone knows everyone, is a friendly small town but they believe in helping each other out. With that said, this book can be read on its own; however, if you have not read the books prior to this, then you will not understand each couple’s issue or what not, so I suggest that you pick up all Good Hopes books to get acquainted with them – they will not disappoint.
The story is mainly about Gianna finding herself a place to call home especially as the home she knew for the past three years is no longer there due to the death of her partner and his kids not wanting anything to do with her. Marigold is close to delivering her twins, so she asked Gianna to come out and help her and Charlotte as she too is pregnant. On the first day there she meets Ethan who she immediately informs that she is not looking for any relationships, hook up or anything of that nature.
Ethan agrees and just states that he would like to be her friend. Well, this book has other characters such as Glady’s who happens to be the one that pairs many of the couple up one way or another and her little possie includes Oaklee. Oaklee and Evie were the first two to befriend Gianna, so when you realize that Oaklee has a major crush on Ethan the story gets interested. With time, Ethan and Gianna form this friendship that blossoms until Oaklee finds out and she is not one bit happy about it and confronts Gianna even though she seems to have feelings for someone else, Isaak, but thinks the right person for her is Ethan because he was always so nice to her. The story gets interesting in the end especially when one is stopped from doing a breaking and entering. You will not be disappointed with this story.
Returning to Good Hope is a delight. This was a great story of another couple who meets and finds their happy ever after.
“Finding Home in Good Hope” deals with the relationship of Gianni Ricci and Ethan Shaw. When Gianni comes to Good Hope to work at Marigold & Charlotte’s Golden Door Salon and Day Spa as a hair stylist, she is still grieving the death of her former lover, Adam. She is not ready to be involved with anyone else. She left Chicago to get a break from Adam’s children who resented her and saw her as a gold digger and were out to ruin her reputation. Coming to Good Hope and not knowing anyone other than her co-workers was fine with her. Ethan, however, is drawn to her when they meet at a party. As their friendship and attraction grows, one of Gianni and Ethan’s friends, Oaklee, becomes upset when the couple is together more often than not. Oaklee feels that Ethan belongs to her and Gianni is unaware of her friend’s obsession with Ethan. Oaklee becomes angry when her friend and the town’s matchmaker, Gladys Bertholf, makes it her mission to pair the couple even though she knows that Oaklee wants Ethan. So, the romance does develop between Gianni and Ethan with some ups and downs. Gianni did find that living in good Hope was like being a part of a family. She loved how she was accepted and included so easily and also that who you are as a person matters more than your wealth or position.
If you enjoy a romance that pulls you in from the start and tugs at your heart strings, then you will love this story as much as I did. It is always a pleasure to visit Good Hope and reconnect with the special people of a place I would like to call home. I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from the publisher and am happy to voluntarily review it.
This is the story of Gianna Ricci and Ethan Shaw. Gianna, a hairstylist, moved to Good Hope from Chicago to help out Marigold and Charlotte, the pregnant owners of the Golden Door Salon and Day Spa. Gianna’s boyfriend died the previous year, and Gianna is having a difficult time coping with the loss. In addition, Gianna and her mother moved incessantly while Gianna was growing up, so Gianna has never had a place she feels is home.
Ethan has deep roots in Good Hope and is a successful businessman, and Good Hope is his home. However, Ethan hasn’t found his soul mate, and he is smitten by Gianna.
Matchmaker Gladys and her crew get involved, with Gladys stating that Gianna and Ethan are the objects of her newest matchmaking attempt. Complicating matters is Oaklee, the younger sister of the local minister and usually a member of the matchmaking crew, who declares her intention to “claim” Ethan, despite Ethan having no romantic interest in Oaklee. Oaklee gets very upset with Gladys’s declared intention to match Gianna and Ethan.
As the story progresses, Gianna fights her growing attraction to Ethan, and Oaklee tries to sabotage the developing Gianna/Ethan relationship, eventually telling Gianna that Ethan is hers. What a mess!
I loved this Good Hope story. The Oaklee storyline (conflict with Gladys, and claiming Ethan as her own) is a new twist. As with previous Good Hope novels, lots of familiar faces and places abound. The familiarity is a comfort to Good Hope fans, but I think is not a barrier for readers new to Good Hope. If you are looking for a feel-good romance, this book will fill that need. Highly recommended.

Im always up for a quick, little vacation to Good Hope!
This story is awesome because it let me know how our duo of super stylish stylists fared in their journey to becoming Good Hope mommas! More than that, it also brought a new face with a new story home to Good Hope.
Gianna agrees to help Marigold and Charlotte out during their maternity leave. Her plans were very much finite and she had no plans of staying on in Good Hope for good. Little did she know that once Good Hope sinks its loving arms in you ... it's hard to leave.
Ethan has been in and around the Good Hope stories for a while ... never committed to anyone, always on the fringes, patiently waiting for his story to begin. He meets Gianna and he knows that his story has begun. Problem is, she doesn't, and this is where our story begins and revolves around. There is much resistance on someone's part, much interference from our friendly busybodies, and a whole lot of love developing, growing, flourishing.
As always, it was a treat to stop and visit my Good Hope friends. As always, reading a Cindy Kirk book is like coming home, a warm hug and the best cup of coffee and dessert all rolled into one. There's heat, there's intrigue and there's something strange a-brewing with one of my fave characters (Oaklee, sis, you ok?).
If you haven't yet, take the Good Hope plunge, you will meet characters that you will fall in love with, stories you will be heavily invested in, and a nice little virtual vacation at your fingertips. It was such a pleasure reading this book.
*I received an ARC of this book, but this review is written voluntarily and all opinions herein are my own.
I really enjoyed Gianna and Ethan’s story. I love that they didn’t try to fight the attraction they felt for one another – they knew what a precious thing they had. I was captivated by the Oakley element of the story and the interactions she had with Gianna throughout the story – and I really enjoyed the growth Oakley experienced as a person. The love triangle worked out exactly as it should have – and I was so worried at times that there would be long-lived hard feelings at times. I’m glad there aren’t. I love how Ethan’s feelings about his dad and Gianna’s feelings about her role in others’ relationships were woven into the story. We don’t often understand how our own actions and reactions are shaped by the experiences we’ve had or how other people’s actions reflect their concerns over their past. I’m so glad Ethan took the time to reflect on his conflicted feelings about his father and his own actions as well as taking the time to figure out WHY Gianna acted the way she did. I think Ethan experienced a lot of growth as a person in this book. I also enjoyed Gianna’s interactions with Gladys. This book really help me see Gladys as more of a human and a real person rather than just an archetype. I also liked Eliza’s role in this story – she’s a great character who isn’t afraid to call things as she sees them.
I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I wasn't sure I was going to like Gianna at first because I thought she had a chip on her shoulder. Then I realized she was just cautious from having to deal with her situation in Chicago.
Ethan and Gianna had an immediate connection, and their chemistry was so strong. I had to admire Ethan for moving so cautiously. There was something very sweet about their growing relationship. Realizing that Gladys and Gianna had something in common was an unexpected twist. Gianna also surprised me with what she did after she spoke to Oaklee.
That saying about "can't see the forest for the trees" immediately came to mind listening to Oaklee going on about Ethan. I have to say that her behavior in this book was both unexpected and really surprising.
I enjoy reading about Good Hope. I get to revisit characters I have become familiar with as well as being introduced to new characters. It has that small town family/friendship feel that makes you want to hang out there.
Ethan and Gianna get their HEA, which is one of the great things about Good Hope. Normally an epilogue and a guaranteed HEA.
I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy of this book received from the publisher.
Oh how great it was getting to go back to Good Hope! If you haven’t read the series yet, it is so worth the trip to Good Hope. This is the 16th book in the series and although it can be read as a stand-alone, there is so much in-depth detail and feeling of belonging a reader gains from knowing the previous characters and stories. I have read all 16 books in this series and I have to admit - this was one of my favorites! Cindy Kirk writes characters that I want to befriend and settings where I want to live. I loved how we as the reader are not only introduced to some new faces and characters but we get snippets of the Good Hope community and it's members and how their story continues to progress. That is what I love about this series - even though a character's story is written and done- Ms. Kirk continues to keep them alive and their story moving along (and we get to read about it!)
I Can’t wait for Oaklee’s story next... and find out how the Bloom sisters and GH community are moving along !!!

Gianna has experienced great loss in her life, a man she adored and loves. Her story begins on New Year’s Eve, and as such with a new beginning as Marigold’s back up stylist at the salon. At the NYE party, as she surveys the folks of Good Hope, Ethan Shaw comes into her world. Despite the resolve of steering clear of relationships beyond friendship, the spark between Gianna and Ethan is undeniable.
The newest (16th!) installment of the Good Hope series was lovely and I particularly liked the fact that we are seeing more of the town and meeting even more newcomers to the community. If you’re already a fan of the series, I do not think you will be disappointed; if you’re new, there’s still enough backstory to understand the rich connections within the community without it being overwhelming. I honestly love that one of the main conflicts of the book centered around Gianna and her friendship with Oaklee and how miscommunication or perhaps lack of communication can make a huge difference. I am looking forward to the next installments, as always they are a welcome respite. I received and ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Gianna Ricci met Ethan Shaw at the Rallis’ New Year’s eve party. Ethan was interested from the first glance, but Gianna was not. She had lost the older man she was in love with the year before. His adult children had never met her, but that didn’t stop them from spreading lies about her. So she had decided to never get involved again since it only led to being hurt.
Ethan and Gianna had a very nice conversation at the party, but she made it very clear she only wanted friendship. Gladys saw them together at the party and decided that they would be her next match. When she told her matchmaking group of friends all were in agreement except for Oaklee. She had had a crush in Ethan since she moved to town so she wanted him for herself. Unfortunately for Oaklee Ethan had no idea she was interested in him and he wasn’t interested in her.
Will Ethan break down Gianna’s wall around her heart?
I received an ARC from the publisher and am voluntarily reviewing it.
Finding Home in Good Hope is the sixteenth in the series but can also be read as a stand alone. This is Ethan and Gianna's story of finding friendship before love and how that past can influence the relationships that come after. Gianna has temporarily moved to Good Hope to help out in the salon while Marigold and Charlotte are on maternity leave and also to find peace from the troubles surrounding the inheritance she received from her recently deceased boyfriend. Ethan isn't looking for a relationship but when he meets Gianna on New Year's Eve, he is instantly attracted. Although she only wants friendship right now, feelings begin to develop and their attraction grows until outside influences threaten to stop them. This is a wonderfully written story with amazing characters that make you feel like you are part of the community.
I received an advanced reader copy from the publisher but all thoughts and feelings are my own.
Ethan Shaw is Eliza's brother. Gianna Ricci is helping out Marigold and Charlotte at the salon since they are both pregnant and due on maternity leave soon. They hang out and decide to be friends. Gianna is still reeling from loosing her partner to a heart attack last year. Gladys sees them together and decides they are the next couple. Oaklee Marshall doesn't like that idea at all. She had thought she would be the one who got with Ethan. She wanted to do something crazy but a guy she kissed on New Year's, Isaak, stopped her. Oaklee tells Gianna she is upset that she is dating her man. Gianna didn't think Oaklee told her Ethan's name when she said she liked someone. Gianna tells Ethan she won't date him with Oaklee in the middle. Ethan talks to Oaklee, then goes to say 3 words to Gianna. Up next Oaklee gets her story, I hope it's Isaak.

With Marigold and Charlotte both going on maternity leave, their beauty salon needed a new beautician. Enter Gianna Ricci. Having worked with Marigold in Chicago, Gianna is ready for a fresh start after the death of her significant other Alan. Ethan Shaw sees her at Marigold's New Year's Eve party and is ready to explore a friendship and more with Gianna. But she isn't looking for a relationship. Even though she is given the infamous "relationship cards" from Gladys, Gianna is hesitant about Ethan. However, they are becoming very good friends and even try out one or two of the cards. Even Eliza Kendrick, Ethan's sister, believes that Gianna is a great match for her brother. There is only one person that doesn't. Will she stand in the way of Ethan and Gianna's forever?
Another great visit to Good Hope. It is enjoyable to read about he family and friendships of this town.
I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher and am voluntarily reviewing it.
Gianna arrives in Good Hope from Chicago to fill in at the local salon during Charlotte & Marigold's maternity leaves. While her friendship with Ethan is slowly building into something more, Gianna is also trying to cultivate relationships with Oaklee and Evie. Unbeknownst to Gianna, Oaklee has her sights set on forever with Ethan. When Gladys informs Oaklee that she is matching Gianna and Ethan, Oaklee sees red. I really, really enjoyed Oaklee coming out of her shell and while I did not agree with her tactics it was fun to see someone with a bit of a wild streak. She reminded me of Eliza before she found her HEA.
Overall, another wonderful, light, easy read romance from Cindy Kirk. It can be read as a stand alone, but you would be doing yourself a disservice if you skipped out on the previous Good Hope books.
I love Good Hope. I have been waiting for Ethan's story and as usual it was a wonderful book. I was given an advanced copy of the book and giving an honest review.
Ethan is a man who you just want to hug and help him find happiness. So it is no surprise when Gladys and the girls turn their matchmaking skills in his direction. Perfect candidate, Gianna arrives in Good Hope to help out at the local hair salon. A New Year's eve party is the ideal place for this couple to launch a new friendship. Gianna is still morning the loss of her love and not receptive to the idea of dating. Ethan knows right away he will not be stopped from changing her mind. But life has a way of throwing unexpected obstacles in the way of true love. But true love is worth the fight. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. It is a great series and this is a hot new addition you should not miss.
I am always so excited to revisit Good Hope to find out what's been going on with everyone and I love that we get to meet all our favourite characters again. This is the 16th book in the series and although it can be read as a stand-alone, you really should start at the beginning and meet the people of Good Hope, every one has the most wonderful story. I have never given any of these stories less than 5 stars as I LOVE GOOD HOPE!! That and the fact that Cindy writes the most wonderful characters with the most heart warming stories.
In Finding Home in Good Hope, the connection between Gianna and Ethan was instant, and although Gianna thought she only wanted friendship, we all knew they would get their HEA. But my heart broke a little for Oaklee and I cannot wait for her story. I want to know how they are all getting on and what's been happening.

As form previous stories Marigold and Charlotte are pregnant and need extra hands in their salon/spa. Gianni Ricci accepts the job, she has previously worked with Marigold in the windy city. Gianni has been invited to the holiday parties, that's where she meets Ethan Shaw!
Gianni isn't looking for a relationship shes still broken from her previous partner passed away. Ethan isn't looking either until he sees Gianni standing by the Christmas tree on new year's eve, she looks lost but is stunning in her Alexander McQueen leather dress.
Unbeknownst to Gianni someone else has their eyes only for Ethan, can they fight the attraction?
Can friendship become more for Gianni? She doesn't think she can love another, especially Ethan when she finds out it's her new friend that is smitten with Ethan.
I received an ARC of the book and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
I was excited to see the next book in this series! I didn’t realize when I started that there would be so many stories to tell. I have enjoyed some more than others (not that they were bad, it was just how i felt about the couple) and this was probably one of my favorites. I have found that things do happen fast for couples in Good Hope but always with a good ending.
I wondered when Ethan would get his turn. I didn’t see him with Oaklee, but didn’t know what to expect. At his initial meeting with Gianna, you could almost feel that this couple was destined to come together. The road was slow and deliberate but a beautiful story. I started out slow in reading this, mostly due to being overwhelmed with snow here in the northeast, but on e I got started I couldn’t stop.
I can count on Cindy Kirk’s books to bring me out of a “blah” mood with a heartwarming story. This was no exception!

I love returning to Good Hope and visiting with my favorite characters as I’m introduced to new ones. In this case, Gianna is moving forward in life after her partner’s unexpected death. Good Hope became the welcome Gianna needed: a welcome home and a welcome to new opportunities in love. I enjoyed the cat and mouse dance between Gianna and Ethan. I also enjoyed the clean nature of their relationship as their romance developed. What I could have done less with was Oakley’s petty behavior. However, I understand its necessity for the next novel in the series. That said, if you enjoyed the previous stories, you’ll enjoy this addition. If you’re new to Good Hope, do not be dissuaded by starting in the middle of the series. Each story can run independently from the series and still wrap you in quaint small town romances.
