Chaos disguised as Christmas has arrived, and it’s brought all the Scott brothers home.
Derek is always looking for a reason to spend time with his brothers, and Jasper, Greg, and Harrison’s upcoming wedding means that they need a party to celebrate. And how better to do that than to invite his brothers to Tennessee? But what happens when his husband, Colt, starts thinking their house may be too small for so many people? Is it true that the more really is the merrier?
After a whirlwind trip to Tennessee—and a lingering hangover—there’s no rest for Ty or Declan who jump right back into life in California with their twins and work. Long hours at the office and busy days with the kids makes arriving in Oklahoma that much sweeter. But when Declan’s past comes back into his life, will it ruin the trip?
For better or worse, Jasper’s family finally made it to Oklahoma, and the house has never been so full, or festive. Spending time with his brothers isn’t anywhere near as stressful as it used to be, but a freak snowstorm is. As the storm grows and snow piles up, it threatens to keep Greg’s family from Oklahoma and Jasper, Harrison, and Greg’s wedding. The three are going to need a true Christmas miracle to pull off the wedding of their dreams. But is that one wish too big, even for Christmas magic?
Home for Christmas is the 67k word follow-up novel to the Finding Home series. Catch up with all the Scott men and follow Derek, Colt, Ty, Declan, as they head home to spend Christmas with Jasper, Greg, and Harrison. Expect naughty gifts, sexy times, and unwavering love and acceptance while the Scotts celebrate as only they can.
This was awesome and amazing...but I wouldn't have expected anything else from Carly Marie. It's a Christmas themed story, there's a wedding (actually a lifetime commitment since three men can't marry), all the Scott family is together with their family and all the family's "add-ons" in spite of the snowstorm that I guess isn't a usual occurrence for that part of Oklahoma. It had some really funny parts some tear producing parts (in a good way), just a wonderful time with these sweet, awesome men. The world of the Scott family is one that I would have happily stayed in longer, but I can revisit the guys as many times as I like. This series should be read in order to fully understand the dynamic of the Scott family members.
I am a die hard Jasper, Harrison, and Greg fan. This re read of mine made me love them more.
So in here we have the mcs of all the previous books. While Derek and Colt are tolerable, I still am peeved at Ty and Declan and of course we have Jasper, Harrison, and Greg as its their commitment ceremony everyone is gathered to attend.
There was of course copious amounts of sexytimes, bonding, and seeing Ty's nether regions.
The ceremony was beautiful and I loved the dp ending.
Reading this made me want to reread the series all over again. *Sigh* SO good!
In this installment, we get Jasper,Greg and Harrison’s wedding. It was great that it was a Christmas one and we got to check in with the rest of the Scott family. Loved this. Perfect companion to all the rest in the series.
I enjoyed catching up with the Scott family. It was good to see Jasper, Derek, and Ty's relationship so much better. Declan gets a moment with his family which helps him realize his true family is the Scott family. Greg's kids and best friend Cody are able to share in their special day. Good ending to the series.
I truly enjoyed catching up with all of people that make up the Scott family. It would have been a perfect read, but... Let’s be real here. Anyone that has made it through the other books in this series knows the Scotts don’t know the definition of over sharing. So the fact that we are still talking about how weird it is that it isn’t weird to have the brothers over sharing was annoying as hell. It was mentioned in almost every chapter all the way up to the end. By this time, all of these people have been around for years. We get it, and they should be used to. Sheesh. 🙄 Other than that, it was an easy no angst read.
Carly Marie's Home For Christmas is absolutely wonderful. I have no clue how to do this book justice. If you're a fan of the Finding Home series, this book will be one of the best books you've ever read.
We get to spend time with all the Finding Home men, as they get together to celebrate the holidays, as well as a family wedding. Each couple gets their time as the focus, although all three couples are around throughout.
First we get Derek and Colt, with so many tender age play moments. These two continue to delight. It's fascinating to see them navigate between adult time with the kids, to little time. And, omg, the way all the other men accept and help with Derek's little time is just the best.
Next we get Ty and Declan, and a peak into their kink. They have to balance their love of lace and silk with their family time. Their kids are precious and seeing the men get a time away from work is as good as I was hoping it would be.
Finally there's Jasper, Greg, and Harrison. And their wedding! Everything about them will melt your heart. It's just fabulous and includes one hell of a wedding gift.
In general, the Scott family is the best! I love everything about them and wish I could be a part of the fun personally. Getting to spend more time with them is truly a gift. The chaos, the abundance of family, and all the kink adds up to be a most wonderful of Christmases indeed.
Their story includes diapers, binkies, lace, double penetration, and more. And it couldn't have been any better! Seriously, the way the men support one another, and are comfortable around each other, is truly all I could ever ask for from them.
Overall, Home for Christmas quickly became one of my favorite holiday reads. Carly Marie went above and beyond to give us a look into one of the sweetest and kinkiest Christmases ever.
This book was so good. I loved seeing all the guys together and getting to see how much better Jasper’s relationship is with his brothers now. It was great seeing all the brother’s relationships and how those have evolved since we first met them.
Derek and Colt are just as solid and Colt always makes sure that Derek has what he needs. Ty and Declan are living the crazy life with twin toddlers while Decan is still learning a home/work balance. Jasper, Greg and Harrison are living a comfortable life on the ranch with Jasper actually taking time off and not working all the time. I love that they had a wedding and fully committed to each other (even though they already were in their hearts).
I received a copy of this book and am giving an honest review
I didn't know I missed the Scott family this much. This Christmas story was so well written and it was more than amazing to be with them again and see how their life is now.
Derek and Colt's story was really lovely, and I loved how they had managed their lifestyle while having three children in their house. Derek is the sweetest ever, and Colt is such an awesome Daddy. I love them so much.
Somehow Ty and Declan are the ones that couldn't got as close to me as the other have, but I still enjoyed reading their story too. All those panties and beuatiful things, and how comfortable everyone was in this family. The fact, that they are this comfortable and open are the best thing in this series and this is why I love reading about them. The are different, but still a family and love each other, and open about their kinks. Aww, the best series ever.
Jasper, Greg and Harrison is my all time favorite throuple and I looooooved their story, the wedding was so cool! And OMG the DP scene so HOT!
I loved this book from the first letter to the last and Highly recommend reading it! It's not a standalone, though. ;)
This is why I’m such a big fan of mm romance. Stories like this. Packed with so much love snd support from family and friends you know these are true happily ever afters. And I am so glad the author loves her characters as much as I do. I never want to say goodbye.
I love the Scott Family and didn't realize how much I missed them. Was so much fun cathing up with them all. Perfect 1st Christmas book to start the festive season.
Jasper, Harrison, and Greg are getting married at Christmas. They just didn't plan on all the things their family and the weather had in store for them.
I missed the Scott family so much so I was very happy and excited to see Home for Christmas. OMG .... it was freaking awesome to catch up with them. I loved that each couple had a special section in the book and gave everyone's POV. It not only gave me a chance to catch up with everyone individually but also with all of them at the same time. And of course it was hilarious, steamy, and full of love. Everyone is so supportive and accepting of everyone. These guys always crack me up, especially when they over share and the Christmas gifts...HILARIOUS 🤣 . Harrison, Jasper and Greg's wedding was just the icing on the cake. And Harrison's wedding gift to his men was Super Hot. Thank you Ms. Marie for giving us a chance to visit the Scotts and making it as awesome as always.
I’m a big fan of this series and it was just amazing to catch up with these characters. I’ve really missed them. This book was perfect, absolutely perfect. It was sweet and funny and steamy. It warmed my heart and put a huge smile on my face. Pure joy. I adored every single word.
Jasper, Harrison and Greg are planning a commitment ceremony over Christmas and so Derek decides to have a party in Tennessee for his brothers, Harrison and Greg to celebrate. Then his husband Colt realises that their house may be too small for so many people. Is it true that the more really is the merrier? When they return to California it is a rush for Ty and Declan who are busy with work and their twins. Long hours at the office and busy days with the kids make arriving in Oklahoma that much sweeter. But when Declan’s past comes back into his life, will it ruin the trip? Jasper's family make it to Oklahoma and as a storm grows and snow piles up will it stop Greg's family from making it? The three are going to need a true Christmas miracle to pull off the wedding of their dreams. But is that one wish too big, even for Christmas magic?
This was a fitting ending to the series with all the brothers married to their forever loves and settled into their future. I loved the happiness and inclusion of everyone. Ty was his usual self and so there were definitely some sexy adults-only gifts in the pile around a tree. I loved that Derek was able to be a true little and that it was normalised among his brothers and their partners who accepted him as he was. My only sadness in this story was the last in the series and I will miss them all. This was easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MMM story with mature content and included some characters with a BDSM-like DDLB relationship.
This book is everything I could have wanted for a follow-up holiday novella!! I loved the way Carly Marie set up the story as well, with getting POV from all the pairings (or more, if we’re talking about Jasper and his men!) in such a way. I don’t want to give too much away so I’m going to keep this short and sweet: Do. Not. Miss. This. Story. I love this entire series and reread it (yet again) right before this one, and I have to tell you.. getting to catch up with everyone - Derek and Colt and their brood, Ty and Dec and their kids, and Jasper, Harrison, and Greg - felt a little like coming home myself. It’s exactly what the end of this horrid year needs: a feel-good story about love and family and friends (plus some sexy times that will heat up your kindle), and it will leave you with a smile on your face and warmth in your heart at the end. But if you haven’t read the rest of the series yet, stop! Do not pass go! Read those first!! I might even be a little jealous that you get to read them for the first time....
Greg, Harrison, and Jaspar are getting married and we are all invited--along with Ty and Declan and Derek and Colt and all their kids and the chaos that comes with them. And they are going to be going back and forth between Jaspar's house and his mom, Marla's place. Then, the state has an early and heavy snowfall but that might keep guests from arriving--including Greg's children.
Carly Marie writes chaos well and thankfully she didn't give the youngest children the biggest voice in this. But we had plenty of time with "little" Derek and genderfluid Ty and shy Jaspar so it was a nice merge of all three previous books' couples. I started reading it in November but had to pause for a few weeks while my own chaos settled but once I picked it back up it flowed more smoothy and I enjoyed it very much.
The ceremony for the throuple was well worth the wait and it was nice to visit with the others whose families have grown through their years together. Definitely worth reading for those who've read the first three in the series.
What I love most about Carly is her ability to create realistic characters you can’t help but love. More time has passed since the second book about Jasper and his men. We get a peek at everyone’s new lives. Colt is still Daddy to Dare and Papa to his kids. We see how he manages to balance both identifies along with his job as sheriff. Declan’s story was difficult to read and not get emotional. Confronting his past while his entire new family stood behind him was one of the best scenes I’ve read. Jasper and his men are even more in love and it’s so hot to see.
The freak storm that almost ruined a wedding is so true. I grew up in Oklahoma about an hour southwest of Ada. We either got a dusting of snow or enough to close everything down.
The wedding was perfect. Christmas morning was perfect. The book was perfect. I always appreciate when an author revisits characters so we can catch up with them. This was perfect.
This story delivered exactly the emotional warmth I look for in a holiday romance — that soft, steady glow that makes you feel like you’re being wrapped in a quiet kind of comfort. It eased me into its atmosphere with tenderness instead of spectacle, and that restraint made it all the more impactful. It’s one of those reads that encourages you to slow down and let yourself feel something unhurried and hopeful. What stayed with me was the emotional clarity. The writing has a way of grounding you, of reminding you that connection doesn’t always roar in — sometimes it’s a whisper, a gentle shift. This book offered that kind of subtle transformation, and I closed it feeling lighter, steadier, and more open to the season. A truly lovely holiday read.
DNF at 30%. It was boring. Even a Christmas special needs a more interesting plot than the planning of a play date, a guest house and a bachelor party. Why a triad commitment ceremony even requires such an outdated concept as a bachelor party is anyone's guess. None of the three really needed it. The sex scenes also left me completely cold and uninterested. Maybe I'd have been able to hang on and finish the book if it started with the triad PoVs rather than ended with them. I've read the series from "Close to Home" so I never warmed up to Ty and Derek, who were quite the insensitive a**holes in that book. Colt was allright. Never got to know Declan.
Some characters are harder to say goodbye to than others. The Scott family are so engaging that you always want more of there story. A little bit of kink never hurt (in a bad way) either 😀 perfect holiday pick me up I laughed and cried since there aren't any other new books out by Carly yet.
I’ve loved this series since the first book, At Home and it’s been great reading about everyone, but mostly getting to read about Greg, Jasper and Harrison’s commitment ceremony. All the books to this series let’s you see into a family, that admits they may not get it right the first time, but heck, they’ll keep trying until they do.
This was a sweet follow up to the Home series! It was fun to catch up with the Scott brothers, their partners, children, parents, and friends. Jasper, Greg, and Harrison’s commitment ceremony was beautiful, but my favorite part was Declan getting the chance to finally find some closure regarding his situation with his biological family.
I love the way we get to catch up with each group of men and their families both individual and how they are within the group. We have seen these men grow and change through the series and I love where they end up. We also get to see the growth in the supporting cast as well. The marriage of the three is just special icing on the cake.
This was the HEA of the HEAs! It’s a follow up to the rest of the Finding Home stories, giving a glimpse into the chaos and acceptance of the Scott family. It’s a sweet story, with a reminder that Family is the people you find it with, and Home can be anywhere, and it gives us a final satisfying HEA!
4.25 stars I loved seeing all of this family together, along with the people they each care about most. And having it end with a Christmas Day wedding for Jasper, Harrison, and Greg was lovely. I'm sure some of them will keep popping up in the author's stories, but I'm content with having them all happily married to their partners.
I finished this book through sheer force of will. The Derek/Colt section was more sex than their entire book, and the other two brothers' sections, while slightly more balanced, were just not interesting. A holiday bonus sequel either still needs tension or needs to be super short. This was neither of those.
What a fantastic way to catch up with the entire Scott family. It was wonderful to see all their perspectives and to just join them at Christmas. I’ve missed these guys so much and this book was a blast!
It was great getting to visit the the Scott brothers and their men. Lots of heartwarming moments, sexy times, and the over shares Derek and Ty are famous for. I thoroughly enjoyed this book!
Hot and sweet Christmas romance for fans of the Finding Home series. It served as sort of a Scott family epilogue, which I enjoyed. Not recommended as a stand-alone read, as there are multiple characters and couples involved. Instead, the entire series is recommended.
