Another interesting short story from SmashWords. An indentured woman is mortally wounded, during a raid on the caravan she is supposed to protect, in a magical forest. She is saved from death by an alluring witch. Hot loving ensues. Bittersweet ending.

Short but tasteless... I do like Sharon Kay's writing style, though.
