Jordan started with a pen and paper and discovered her dream of writing. This southern Louisiana born lady, enjoys a good romance as much as she does writing them in her spare time. That is if she’s not hanging out with family and furry kids.
She’s never forgotten where she came from, though. Her past is her encouragement.

Another new series from the talented Jordan Leger, and this story definitely didn’t disappoint making sure I’m glued to my kindle, I honestly don’t know what will happen next??? and can’t wait to find out. Braelyn just eighteen years old kidnapped and kept in a large bird cage by Zander who has a real darkness to him, a man with a plan. However the question is, Is Braelyn actually falling for her kidnapper or is she a girl with a plan??? Only time will tell !!! Can’t wait for the next instalment. I was given this as an ARC by the author in exchange for a voluntary honest review which I was totally happy to provide.

Intriguing dark story!

Braelyn and Zander’s story is dark and twisted and will have you gasping for breath, then shocking you at every turn.

For such a short story it really packs a punch with its emotional craziness and it’s scarily calm and psychotic main character.

I loved this little twisted taste that this amazing author gives us with this novella. I am positive that the future books in this series will delve even deeper into the rabbit hole of depravity that is named Zander.

Holy Smokes!!!
What a read.. Jordan has really tapped into a dark side with this one, but it’s an obsessive read. I couldn’t put it down.
Zander an obsessive man with a fixation on a young woman called Braelyn. He abducts her with plans for the both of them. However the plot thickens could Braelyn be falling for Zander the one holding her captive? Or is she planing her escape? I’m not telling, but I will tell you this much it’s an addictive read, and I can’t wait for what’s to come in their twisted yet addictive story.

Jordan you’ve excelled again. Well done ...

Wow! This is definitely the most twisted book Jorden has written! Dark days for Braelyn., while happy days for Zander... he is a crazy and obsessed man with a plan. I was a myriad of emotions for this one, the last of which was shock and surprise... I hope there is more to their story cause I need too know if Braelyn has Stockholm Syndrome or has just completely lost it! and I'll leave it at that....ahahahahaha.\

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review.

Braelyn-The monster came for me when I least expected. Now I love in a cage that is hidden in a room of his home. I will never be free. That's what Zander tells me. How can I look at him and think he's handsome? How can I want to help him because I know he must be hurting for something deep inside him? How can I want to be his next chapter, but run for my life at the very same time.
Zander-Braelyn lost her freedom the day I took her. The outside world doesn't need her in it. I need her more.

This story is a novella and I think there are going to be more of them coming out close together. Braelyn is a eighteen year old when she is taken by Zander and kept in a large birdcage in his house. This is a guy who has some serious darkness living inside of him. But, Zander has a plan. In the meantime Braelyn is falling for the man who took her. I just am not sure how to review this because much of anything I say is going to give something away. This is a good story that had me reading from the beginning to the end. I am left with so many questions and can't wait to find out what happens next.

Dark and yummy!
The story itself gets you going first off that you want to continue reading.

The not so innocent Brealynn finds herself trespassing on private property with a friend of hers who is meeting some guy. She is then picked up by a deputy. In the car ride to the station, things get interesting once again.

Zander, is the man with a wicked plan to have the young Brealyn. He will stop at nothing to have her and hold her captive in his home. How? The psycho welds a huge human size birdcage to keep her in.

This book gives you that WTH moment!

The story is different for this author. It's darker. I hope Jordan continues with this series as it states in back of the book.

So this was my first time reading Jordan Leger and I have to say, I quite like the writing style. The story's prologue is present day, but the book starts out when Zander meets his Little Bird 2 months prior. There's all sorts of darkness living all up in Zander's mind, and has him going above and beyond the sane route when it comes to his Little Bird, but the more we get to know about Zander, the more it makes sense. Not saying I agree with his choices because hello? That's just not cool to think that idea is gonna work forever. I can't wait to see what's going to happen with these two.

This was a very intense and intriguing read. Braelyn and Zander's story gets off to a gripping start that had me captivated and feeling on edge. Unfortunately, the very short length of this book barely gives you the opportunity to get a taste of what seems to be something sinfully dark and delicious, without leaving you satisfied. This is my frank, freely posted review.

This is the first book in the Searching Series and it was great! Braelyn is kidnapped at eighteen years old and kept in a cage by a man named Zander. Zander who’s an obsessed man with a plan. A captivating story from beginning to end and I’m hoping there’s more to their story.

What an intense, captivating, enthralling on the edge of your seat story! Braelyn is captured and kept in a cage at Zander's mercy. This obsessed man has a plan and I hope there is so much more to this story. I volunteered to review the arc.
