Buy One More Year- See How Love is a Moral Dilemma “Outstanding writing...Psychologically stimulating and sexually provocative. A journey into a world poorly understood and a pathway less taken. I could not stop reading….” -Erotes Literary Reviews
SJ Cavaletti is a contemporary romance author. She lives on a farm in England with her husband, three kids, ponies, cat, dogs, chickens and likely many more animals by the time you read this.
When she’s not writing, she can be found hiking and swimming in the sea. Like every respectable woman she also loves drinking champagne and eating half of every chocolate in a truffles box.
Working in a strip club has left Ana with plenty of walls up. She’s used to being adored by the men who frequent the club. In San Francisco, she’s a hit with the opposite gender, but she wonders if she’ll ever truly find love, romance, and a man who understands her inside and out. With the life she lives, she wonders if anyone could truly want her for more than her body. Enter Carlos, a handsome and rich stranger, and Ana’s questions go out the window. Maybe, just maybe, it’s possible after all.
So, I loved the characters in this story. Ana was a favorite of mine because even though she lived such a high-risk lifestyle, she was very aware of what the possible consequences of it could be. She was intelligent, and her sometimes moments of despair were relatable. Carlos was also an interesting character, and the way that he completed Ana’s character made their interactions engrossing.
Plenty of emotions throughout the entirety of this book, and I think that’s what made it feel real. It wasn’t clear if Ana and Carlos would be able to hit it off at first, and that wonder truly drove me into the story.
This is the 1st in a new series and is Carlos and Ana’s journey. Ana is working as a stripper to pay off debts, and she just wants a man to love her unconditionally for herself. Carlos is a wealthy stranger, but will he be able to knock down Ana’s wall and be the man she has been looking for? This is a well written story with engaging and relatable characters, and is a gripping, raw, gritty, heartwarming romance as well as having emotions, and suspense. I look forward to reading more from this author and I recommend this for all.
