Timmy and his team are always looking to improve their game . . . And now they have an amazing opportunity - by going into camp with the Women's National Team! They'll get to train like they do, live like they do, and learn what it's like to be a professional player!
Tim Cahill was born in Sydney, New South Wales to an English father of Irish descent and a Samoan mother, and was encouraged to play football as a child. He grew up moving between homes around Sydney’s south, west and inner west. He has an older sister Opa, older brother Sean and younger brother Chris. As a youngster, Cahill played football for Balmain Police Boys Club and Marrickville Football Club.
Timmy and his team are presented with the opportunity to join the Australian Women's National Soccer Team in one of their training camps and learn how they eat, train, recover and prepare for their games.
This is a great story for all children as it highlights choosing healthy options, teamwork and hard work.
This was such a cute and fun read, I am definitely going to start collecting this series!
Thank you so much Scholastic Australia for sending me a copy in exchange for an honest review!
This book was very interesting because Tiny Timmy and his friends were going on a training camp to met the Australian women's team. Tim's team trained and did everything at the camp like the Australian women's team.
