Look, there was plot…
Honestly why is that the cover? And the title? The story is not all about licks… It has talk of a kid niece who loves her Uncle Ry-Ry.. and the FMC also loves the nieces Uncle Ry-Ry (obvs not in the same way). - (I feel the need to point this out since some of yall read some unhinged shit ahhaah)
Overall it was a cute story of two people accidentally meeting each other after a weird encounter. With a sprinkle of 🌶️.

Ryder was enchanted by Berkley from their first meeting even if it was under the best of circumstances however he never expected to see her again until destiny had other ideas.
Berkley is a school teacher who was pleasantly surprised to find out the man she hasn’t been able to forget thinking about is his student’s uncle rather than her father and after that there’s no keeping them apart.
Hot chemistry, a little trouble and two people who couldn’t be more perfect for each other.

This is a sweet love story of a chef and school teacher throwing caution to the wind and taking a chance on an instant attraction. Although their initial encounter was a bit concerning, they found their way to each other. No drama, just two people that were willing to let love lead them to their HEA!

Berkley and Ryder were definitely a sweet treat. Ryder is going to give a lot of readers all kinds of fun thoughts.

Ryder, a chef saves Berkley’s life when she is choking at his family restaurant. For him it was love at first sight. She thought he was married to the other lady, Melody, Ryder’s older sister, working at the restaurant. Berkley’s the new kindergarten teacher and is very surprised when she sees the lady drops off a little girl to her room the first day of teaching her own class. Sienna is a very smart little girl and Berkley likes her very much, but hates the thought of seeing her father and being attracted to him. She relieved when Ryder comes to pick Sienna up after school and she finds out he’s her uncle. Ryder was all in from the start and Berkley feels the same way, their attraction is powerful and hot. They spend as much time as their schedules allow together. Berkley is adventurous and fun and their sexy times are scorching hot! A little drama when Sienna’s sperm donor wants to see her, he forces his way into the school and into Berkley’s classroom. Thankfully everything is ok and Ryder is there to comfort Berkley. They spend Thanksgiving with her family and Ryder fits right in with them and asks her parents for permission to marry her. He proposes a few months later and they talk about moving in together. Epilogue six and a half years later they are expecting their first baby.

Licked was a great story. Tory Baker did a great job on the book, the plot was strong, the story was written well. Ryder and Berkley were strong characters. From the moment they met, they were drawn to each other, their connection was strong. The chemistry between them was off the charts, it was sexy and sweet, they were great together.
I enjoyed this story, it was great.

Wonderful!! This was a nice quick, short read. I absolutely love it.
Berkley meets Ryder when she’s eating at his restaurant and she begins to choke. Ryder and his sister Melody notice Berkley choking and rush to her side performing the Heimlich maneuver. Ryder insist Melody take her to get checked out. Berkley is welcoming her first grade class when she notices Melody from the restaurant she had the incident at holding the hand of one of her students, Sienna. Berkley has thought of nothing else for the last month but the man who came to save her from choking. Ryder isn’t with them in the morning but comes to pick up Sienna in the afternoon. Berkley comes to find out that Ryder is her uncle and not her father. Ryder and Berkley talk and he tells her he wants to take her out, they exchange phone numbers. Ryder tells Berkley that Sienna’s no one else is to pick her up. Later that night Ryder calls Berkley she invites him over but he tells her not tonight, things will move to fast if he comes. At the restaurant Ryder talks to his sister about Sienna’s father, she tells him he wants visitation, but doesn’t pay child support. Ryder suggest she call her lawyer and get her involved. Ryder makes dinner for Berkley and she comes to the restaurant on his break to eat with him. When Berkley arrives she they start to kiss, Ryder tells her it’s been to long. When he picks her up and puts her on the table she tells him she sensitive. Then she shows him what she had done, he then pleasures her. Afterwards they talk about the future and eat dinner. Ryder takes her home, and they agree to meet the next night after he’s done with work. Ryder slides into bed beside her, being exhausted from the day. The next morning she wakes up being warmer than usually with him laying beside her. He flips her over and asks her if she is sure she wants to go further. She tells him she’s ready, they spend the day together. One month later, Berkley takes Sienna whenever Melody or Ryder isn’t available. Ryder made sure Berkley knew Sienna was his number one priority. They take her for adventure during the day when Melody can’t. Ryder and Melody get a phone call from the school that Sienna’s father showed up trying to pick her up. They rush to the school only to have Berkley have everything under control. Sienna hid in the little tent in her room while Berkley distracted him. The police showed up and arrested him. When Ryder and Melody arrive everything is over and Berkley and Sienna are huddled together. For Thanksgiving her parents invite them, Melody, Sienna and Tanner, Melody boyfriend. Ryder takes them up on the offer to meet her family. Ryder and Berkley start looking for a new home to call their own. Six and a half weeks later, New Years Eve, Ryder proposes to Berkley and she says yes. They closed on their new home right before Christmas. Six and a half years later they are headed to Virginia, Berkley is pregnant and has terrible morning sickness that last all day. They bought an RV to make the trip so they can spend time sigh seeing. Pulled over at the side of the road while Berkley tosses her breakfast, Ryder sooth her. He get her ginger ale and crackers to settle her stomach. When she is done they head to a near by campground for the night. She falls asleep and after he parks he carries her to bed. He makes her her favorite meal and lets her rest.

Tory Baker's third installment in her Getting Dirty Series is Licked, a sweet, steamy and satisfying instalove romance. Berkley has just moved to small-town Texas to teach first grade when she meets Ryder, the chef and silent partner in his sister Melody's steakhouse. Their meet-cute involves Ryder saving Berkley after she chokes in the restaurant. However, it isn't until Berkley turns out to be Melody's daughter Sienna's teacher that Berkley and Ryder cross paths again. Once that happens, all bets are off. Ryder has not been able to think of anything else since he first met Berkley, and now that he has found her, he has no intention of letting her go. Fortunately for him, the feeling is mutual. Ryder and Berkley have sizzling chemistry, and Ryder is swoon-worthy in his pursuit of the woman he knows is meant to be his. A wonderful supporting cast of Melody, Sienna and Berkley's girl gang help make this an engaging and entertaining novella.

Ryder and Monica are walking through the restaurant, when a customer starts to chock. With his fast actions, Ryder rushes over to help, but once he wraps his arms around her, he know he never wants to let go. Berkley is just started at the elementary, when she recognizes the mother of one of the kids, from the restaurant, but she does not want to think much farther especially about the handsome man who has his arms around her.
Licked is a hot, steamy, panty melting story with a bit of drama and whole lot of heat and not just in the kitchen. This is my first book from the author and is definitely will not be the last.

This followed the typical over the top insta-love story that Tory Baker is known for. It's unrealistic but at least I know to expect that going in. However, this book was also incredibly unrealistic for the restaurant industry. Ryder is a chef and co-owner of a steak house. He invites Berkeley to join him for dinner on his break one night and asks her if 7pm will work. I don't know of anyone who can plan their breaks ahead of time in a restaurant ( breaks come when business is slow) and certainly not at 7pm. Another night he's closing the restaurant and hopes to be out by 9pm. What kind of restaurant closes that early and gives him time for closing duties? I know these aren't really important details, but they did distract me from the story.

Wow, Tory Baker gave us a story that sparkles with the attraction between Ryder and Berkley. The pull between them is alive with the certainty of forever. Ryder is a confident guy but he isn't overly cocky. He knows he is right where he needs to be. He can be there for his sister and his niece and he was definitely in the right place to meet Berkley. The way their lives intersected made it feel like it was truly providence that brought them together. Berkley is bit of a firecracker, I loved her. She is so full of the zest for life and that comes across vividly. I loved every moment of their story and now I eagerly await Ms Baker's next!

Berkley is the cousin of Aspen who moved down to help Aspen with her clothing store. Berkeley ends up staying and getting a job as a teacher. Ryder and his sister Melody own a resturant together called Melodys steakhouse. Melody also has a little girl named Sienna who is smart & outspoken. one evening at the restaurant Berkeley is having dinner alone and ends up chocking, Ryder saves her. from this moment he knows she the one. When Ryder learns Berkeley is Sienna teacher he makes sure to pick up Sienna from school and ask Berkeley for a date. While this is a short read, this book has it all, baby daddy drama, crazy family and hot sex.

Licked was another delicious read by Tory Baker. The moment Ryder sees Berkley in his and his sister's restaurant, he knows she is the one for him. After she leaves he realizes he didn't get her name. Thankfully, when he goes to the school to pick up his niece, he learns Berkley is her new teacher. He is determined to take advantage of his second chance with her. Berkley is the perfect match to Ryder with her willingness to embrace her sexy side and the obvious attraction between them is off the charts hot. Great story.

Another great book in this series! Ryder saves Berkley's life and hes head over heals from that point on. But first they have to officially meet! Berkley is also taken with Ryder but she thinks he's taken when he saved her life so she tries to forget him. When they meet again sparks fly!
This is the 3rd book in the getting dirty series about hard working average people and I love that! I can't wait for book 4 and hope to see a book about Lincoln and Melody at some point too!

Ryder and Berkley are on fire. I was hoping we would see Berkley's story as she seemed like a fun character and I am glad we did.
Fate steps in after Ryder knows she is the one but doesn't know who she is. They are sweet and sexy together. Some of the story is confusing as there are parts where the timeframe doesn't match or one thought moves unto another without the first one being finished. But overall the story is another amazing insta-love alpha-male story of Tory's.

I have read all the books in this series so far and liked each of them. The family is great, funny, loving and supportive. I like how the stories overlap and you can keep up with everyone. The premise in this story is good, hot chef and sweet teacher, but the chemistry and dialogue just felt a little off to me. Still good, and I will read the next one, but just not the best. This was a really sweet romance. Ryder is instantly attracted to Berkley and I love how he woos her once he finds her again. Ryder is such a sweetheart as is Berkley. Their chemistry together is white hot explosive and I love how good they are together. This was a really entertaining and cute story.

I loved how Berkley was, so confident in herself and willing to own herself. One of my favorite parts of the book was her coming home from her school day and taking care of herself lol. Ryder was good for her, they balanced each other very well. I loved hearing about the characters I have read in other books from this author, it makes me wanna to read them again!

Berkeley and Ryder are fantastic. Their meeting is definitely original and quite memorable. Ryder is all alpha male but sweet as heck with his adorable little niece. Berkeley is sweet, sassy and his niece's teacher. Throw in lots of heat, some drama and insta-love romance and you have a fabulous story.

Berkeley is a teacher and new to town. Ryder is a chef for Melody’s Steak House, a restaurant his sister owns. The first time they meet is in the restaurant but its kitchen a great meeting but the attraction is there. December 1, 2020Ryder and Berkley make a fantastic couple. He really balances her out and their chemistry will light you on fire. Overall, this was an extremely sweet story that really makes you a believer in true love. I can’t wait to read the next one in this series

Absolutely Amazing!
This was such an awesome book , I really loved Ryder and Berkeley, they make a fantastic couple. Every bit of there story was amazing. I even
loved Ryders sister Melody and her daughter Sienna. They are a wonderful part of the book and she also gets her HEA. This one is a must read, you will absolutely love it.
