Evan’s royal campaign to win over the people of Rahma has taken him to the northern peninsula. And straight to the gates of the underwater city of Pullis. The Green Glass Sect is up to no good under the sea, and it’s up to Evan and his party to save the merfolk from traitors and the ever-corrupting presence of miasma.
This series goes from strengths to strengths and this particular volume has a fair bit of intrigue, some is predictable, while other bits not so much. A great addition to the series which sees the main story arc get pushed along quite significantly and opens up the start of a potential second arc as well.
Okay, I’m giving this one two stars… the story is still phenomenally sooooo good… But Evan and his senseless smack talking in the middle of a fight causing people to escape or die is REALLY trying my patience. It’s like the bad guy will be mega arrogant and instead of just shutting the bad guy down and doing what you must what does the chad do? Why hit the bad guy with more arrogance 🤣 then the bad guy says nah bro I don’t want to be here no more I’m out and flees or dies lol. Also I’m so glad bonds didn’t form with those mermaids… like bro, you didn’t even feel a connection to them.. you were just ready to party… a guy with a harem of super models that will do anything for him chooses random hookups… the rescued maiden, okay I get that… there was maybe some chemistry there so I was thinking okay she may be the next member…but the floozies? Come on bro, there was absolutely nothing there but a casual connection… to me that’s just disrespectful to the other women… if you’re not going to connect with women to add to your “family” then you shouldn’t be doing that… how would he like it if Laika did that, or Naomi? He’d want to destroy cities… so yeah, this book got dinged because I see that as cheating amongst the other annoyances. Let’s hope that’s the only indiscretion our hero has.

Where to start. First, the main character has a harem of 13 supporting characters. I use the term character loosely, because they barely seem to actually do anything of significance. Second, the author seems to have an obsession with leaving each chapter on a cliffhanger going into the next. A writing habit ther gets annoying a few chapters in. Third, I don't think the author knows how fire and movement work underwater. Which is a shame given that half of this book takes place underwater. Overall it just feels like a first draft of someone's poorly thought out power fantasy inspired my "other world" anime but without any desire to actually do something interesting with the premise. If all of this doesn't put you off. The "romance" scenes are all poorly written and fairly vanilla. Look for your power fantasy romance elsewhere.

So far the story is get more interesting learning more about what 😮 is the bounding ceremony (@w@/) even now finding Miraya’s sisters is now at the corner of the next phase of the story. Sad the mermaid 🧜♀️ didn’t make it I. To the harem. A colosal blow to the soul bounding. Overall was nice nothing amazing but the only shocking truth is how did the Glass sect knew Evan was from another world. My be an Oracle told them to take the average of the situation related from that nightmare Evan had. I want to see more delly bedtime romances.
Even and his harem fight underwater battles to seal another rift and eliminate mages for the green glass sect. The characters have grown together through the series and it is incredible how it has all tied together. You will enjoy the series immensely!
Evan and his lovelies continue their campaign across Rahma to solidify loyalty to the crown. They are not welcome at the city of the mere people, who don't trust visitors. They are able to prove their worth by dealing with the Green Glass Sect and their plans of destruction. I like the action, humor, and romance. I look forward to the next book.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. Evan and his crew are off to visit the mermaids. Things take a turn for the worst, but they are more than up to the task at hand. The story and characters were engaging and intriguing. I look forward to reading more about these characters and their further adventures. This book is definitely worth reading.
This series just gets better and better!!!! I can not put it down!!! I read and read and realize im near the ending!!! Love this so much and starting the next one already!!!
I mean absolutely great I haven't been able to put it down. I love how there's some mystery novel type stuff in there of course the love scenes are good. I still say it making a great anime. Definitely can't wait to read the next volume. Keep up the great work.
CW: Rape. Incest. Bestiality. One of the most vile pieces of trash I have ever come across. I am less of a human for having read this. I pray nightly to whatever god will listen that the other reviews and ratings on this book are purchased- a practice that the author is well known for.
