I really enjoyed reading this book it told me everything I wanted to know about Derek Jeters baseball career. It tells about how great of a person Derek was he donated money to charity he has his own charity and is always generous. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to know about a hall of famer who was always ready to help and always ready to play ball.

This book was great! The book talks about all the things that Jeter accomplished/achieved as a Yankee. That's not all though, it talks about how he is the captain on and off the field, as a Shortstop and a person. He's such a great guy on and off the field by, doing things for. Kids to not only help them be good ballplayers but people as well. He created a foundation called the Turn 2 Foundation which means turning 2 on the field (also known as a double play) but also turning 2 the people that care the most about you. And on the field he is one of the best shortstops of all time, racking up 3465 hits in his Major League Career. He is just a really inspiring person, that someday I would love be like Mr. Jeter.

Derek Jeter has an amazing career. He has been a star on the field ever since he was little. Captain On and Off the Field was a great book about Derek Jeter. It starts when he was little and wanting to play for the Yankees. This book goes in detail about the major parts in his life.
It tells about when he won the world series as a player with the Yankees and how he won the MVP for the World Series. Derek Jeter also did something incredible for him, his family, his community, and soon to be all on North America. He started the turn two foundation for charity. He gets to help out all kinds of people. His family is part of it too. Since Derek plays for the Yankees, his dad takes over during the season.
I would recommend this book to all Derek Jeter fans.
