This book came with the Aardman Classics DVD, which is a collection of classic Aardman shorts which I personally recommend you buy.
The book itself gives a brief yet informative history of Aardman and its founders Peter Lord and David Sproxton, as well as Wallace and Gromit creator Nick Park. There's also a few pages that touch on the basics of animation should anyone be inspired to start.
As this is a companion to a DVD, the book is short and only touches on the legacy of Aardman (Oliver even recommends "Cracking Animation" for further reading), and it's no longer up-to-date as it was written in the early 2000s, but it still provides interesting tidbits about the company and stop-motion animation and it's still worth a glance.
