Choyce was the ruler and keyholder of something gravely savage that laid prowling within me. Something gravely savage that needed to be released.
The unique makeup of Choyce made me want her beyond my control. My attraction to Choyce Tyrell came from her uncaring desire to fit in. Her unapologetic confidence to be her and only her. Who she was, bold and assertive, I fed off that. I never in my life encountered a woman like her. Probably never would again. I wanted to add value to the already perfect woman who fearlessly claimed me without hesitation of what the risks might be.
This man bewitched me with a single kiss.
Khiry Washington had me smitten and not much had happened for me to feel that way. I don’t know. Maybe it had a lot to do with his selfless desire to protect me when he knew nothing about me. Or perhaps it was the passion behind his eyes and the sound of his soulful baritone when he rocked me to a soothing melody as he painted a mural of his wanted love.
Acting out on an intuition of the heart had the potential to leave me jaded and blue. Khiry spoke to many pieces of me. Spoke to my broken pieces just as loud as he spoke to my perfect pieces. Desperately, I wanted to gather all of my strength and peel back the blankets of my soul for him to see. I wanted to show him the steps leading to the road map called Choyce’s Euphoria. But for now, I’d wait.

Every addition to her growing catalog is penned with the purpose to revive the faith in love. Now, with an arsenal of love-inspiring chronicles she is claiming her spot in the world of fiction. Bringing a new wave to the industry and reshaping the twisted perceptions.
Reading a Chelsea Maria book is almost like watching a tv show or a movie. More Than You'll Ever Know was witty, endearing, and romantic. It's multifaceted and can't be confined to one genre. This book touched on real life, it was funny, had a little crime fiction, had two bomb girl bosses as the main characters, touched on forgiveness and was sprinkled with a few messages from The Good Lord.
Choyce "Peaches" Tyrell is a hilariously outspoken woman that's been in a bad relationship or two. With her half platinum half black hair and stacked body, sis can probably have just about any man she wants. Due to her busy life and schedule, she only keeps her trusty booty call buddy, Rodney Hubanks, around. But after a petty prayer and a run in with the law, all that changes. "Dear OG God, this is your girl Choyce a.k.a. Peaches on the ones and twos. You know my knees. I need you to deliver me from the stiff knee syndrome. Meg and these other fast girls out here can't be the only ones to drop it and pick it back up when 'Tippie Toes' is played. I'm not asking for much, Lord, just your will. Cause when I ask for specifics, apparently, I miss a few things. You sent Allen and I know damn... I mean darn well I ain't come from his rib. So, I'm praying for your best. Not my best, but your best. I don't want what I think is my best because I know I will miss something important. However, I want him to have Rick Ross beard and tall like Lebron, but not the hairline. I rebuke that in the name of Jesus and all your angels. A little rugged edge but loves his granny. All those romantic desires you've placed in my heart. That special man that my sister and her friends think come from a fairytale; I'll continue to pray for that man to appear. Love you like a fat kid loves Little Debbie Cakes. Amen." From her mouth to God's ears, then enters Khiry.
Khiry Washington is a divorcee that has pretty much given up on love. After a failed marriage and a few pointless dates, he just feels it's not in the cards for him. But after a run in with a Zebra, "Did this fool just call me a damn zebra?", those thoughts and feelings are instantly discarded. "Choyce's beauty was a beauty that only she could claim. From the colored hair to her long lashes to her button nose. Her plump lips were becoming my favorite thing to look at." A relationship that was supposed to be fake ends up blossoming into something real.
The level of comedy in this book was paramount. "I gotta go, Rodney. I'll call you back. My Squirrel is barking. She's hungry and needs to be taken for a walk. Can't have PETA called on me." The gems that were dropped in this story is unmatched. "Every day I live my life like today is my last day. My last hour. My last minutes. My last seconds. Taking risks, I never imagined. Putting my heart on the line just to say I breathed deep enough within myself to place all bets on me. Everyday I'm a work in in progress and I find love in that. Find gratitude in the smallest blessings." Chelsea hints at possibly giving us a follow up story on Chance, Choyce's twin sister, and her relationship. Let's keep our fingers crossed that it comes to fruition.
This story was filled with so much depth that you had no choice but to feel. I can honestly say that evoking emotion is this author’s speciality. Choyce was so fierce and confident but flawed. Khiry was a man on a healing journey that arrived at his destination with Choyce. The dynamics of their relationship were not traditional but were perfect for each other. Every love story isn’t written the same and we learn that here. Far from predictable is what you get with this story. You have just enough dysfunction to smooth out Khiry’s intoxicating word play. Just enough optimism to make your heart rejoice on the new love found not only in the lead characters but a few of the others. Just enough lust to let you know that physical encounters when it comes to matters of the heart are so much more than bodies colliding. Read the book you won’t regret it.
This was only the second book that I’ve read by Chelsea Maria and I definitely plan to read more of her work. This book was filled with drama, fun and love. The relationship between Choyce and Khiry was refreshing and fun. They really seemed t enjoy one another. I would love to catch up on Chance and Elias relationship as well. Definitely a book to read.
This was an exemplary read. I enjoyed the wordplay on the names and the plot of the book. I always like Ms. Maria's writing style you can tell by the words she uses on her intellectual level. Her writing style is different than some others I have read before but I love it.
Choyce and Khiry both needed a replay in the game of love and they found it in each other. I loved how Khiry let Choyce be her eccentric self. He fell in love with it so he made sure to enhance and support her.
I am hoping that Chance and Elias get to tell their story. I think it will be just as intriguing as Choyce. As always, I most definitely recommend this book.
Choice was a great Choyce in this story! 4.5 stars.
Talk about laughing ones butt off at a story; this would be an understatement. Choyce and Chance were twins with a quirky sense of humor. Even with the dramatic backdrop with the romantic suspense, the story had me slapping my knees with this humorous tale as well. A fun read ****Be Aware**** The story had some horrid moments and a scary character. The story was told in a manner that was not too upsetting for me. I chose to focus on the humor more so than the horror for this rating of 4.5 stars.
I am always glad to see a new release from this author her words are so profound and unique characters lead to a very entertaining read but I need more from this couple and her sister.
CHELSEA! I have so many thoughts and feelings running through my mind and body right now! My heart ached, I cried, I hollered (I mean out loud and my family was like WTH wrong with you)? 😂 Then I rejoiced! I was soooo not ready for this! However, I loved Choyce! Her will to survive, to overcome and the strength that she possessed, after all that she had endured was so powerful and moving! She walked to the beat of her own drum, and dared anyone to say anything about it! The love of those sisters was just a beautiful sight! Chance was a different kind of crazy! But, the love she had for her sister had no boundaries. Khiry! That man knew what love was supposed to be, and he perfected it through his words and actions! Their journey although it was rocky to start, was filled with so much compassion, caring, laughter and love. It was amazing how they even got a chance to experience anything, with all that was happening in Choyce's life. Love, love, love them! Wish there was more, as there story was just really beginning. I hope we get to learn more about Chance and Elias as well. Excellent read! 👍👍👍
Khiry and Choyce oozed passion and chemistry that could be felt through every moment of their love story. I loved the dynamic between Chance, Choyce, and their father. Choyce is one strong woman who overcame a lot to become the amazing woman she is. Their momma was a trip but those last few chapters will have you deep in your feelings. One lesson consistent throughout this story is to not play with people's emotions. If you don't want to be with them, tell them so that you both can move on prayerfully in a peaceful manner. I loved this story so much. The crazy part is that there were no sex scenes at all in this story. I truly wasn't needed because the passion and love along with the thrilling side with dealing with everything was more than enough to keep loving every moment of this story!!
This was a refreshing and at times hilarious read. Although put together under an unexpected circumstance, Choyce and Khiry had that instant secret connection and chemistry that was definitely hard to miss. I loved Choyce and her slick jokes towards Khiry and with her twin Chance in the mix of her shenanigans you couldn't help but love the humor these two displayed when together. Khiry was a man who took his job serious and by any means he was going to do all he could to protect Choyce. He was the type of man you wish you had at your side 24/7. They were just so perfect together and the fact that they didn't shy away from their feelings made their happy ending even better. I really enjoyed this story and I wouldn't mind reading more about Chance and Elias.
I have loved every book I have read by this author. This book had a different twist to it but is just as great as her others. The love the heroine had for her family despite all of the trauma she experienced was amazing and so real. The love and protectiveness Khiry has for the heroin throughout the book was awesome. I wish all men were as self-aware & selfless as Khiry was when describing what he brings to a relationship. Choyce's strength through all she had to endure kept me up all night trying to get to the end of this book. Every body needs a sister like Chance in their life. The unexpected bouts of humor really set the book off. Well done Chelsea Maria...well done.
Just finished this book and it was awesome. The plot was on point from the beginning to the end. I liked watching Choyce and Chance's relationship thrive and their closeness, reading about Khiry's past and seeing how he and Choyce were compatible and learnt to communicate in each other's love language.
The things Khiry told Choyce make me a firm believer in love. He was very intentional, considerate, observant and loving. In short, this is an awesome read, well written, proper character development and not spicy but there's a lot of anticipation there.
I loved this, loved Choyce and Khiry. I needed this book 2020 has been a year like none other. I laughed so hard at Choyce , with tears in my eyes, and out loud. Good thing my husband was at work. The prayer in the Salon, when Khiry ate chitlins and when Choyce was running from the U.S. Marshals, so funny I could not stop laughing. On a serious note this story does touch on obsession, assault, and revenge. Khiry was the perfect man for Choyce. Looking forward to Chance's story. Choyce's twin sister's Bravo to the author👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
This story was so good! It was very different than I expected, but in a refreshing way. Choyce and Chance were so hilarious-total sister goals. And even though they some horrible experiences, they didn't let it stop them from living. Khiry and Choyce was exactly what each other needed in so many ways. I was so happy to see them find their way back to each other. I was sad for the story to end because I enjoyed it so much and wasn't ready to say goodbye to these characters. Maybe we can hear more about them... Please!
This was a very good story...I gave 4 stars only because at times it was hard to distinguish what was happening in the beginning, the transition from one thing to another was a little off. However as I kept reading the story got better and funnier. This is pure evidence that highly sexual scenes are not needed to make a story entertaining. I would love to read about Chance and Elias...and definitely need an update on Choyce and Khyri.
Khiry and Choyce! Talk about rough beginnings literally. Their run in is what catapulted them into a romance. Her connection to her twin Chance and her dad was beautiful. Her mother on the other hand, I don't know if I could forgive all that her actions caused. I loved how thoroughly Khiry loved her. I can't wait to learn what becomes of Chance and Elias so please don't keep us hanging.
I just love love. These two had me laughing from their first encounter. Laughter is truly medicine for the soul. The fact that they matched each other’s temperaments made them work. Now, the fact that this author can pull you in with the words these two spoke to each other with no sex, speaks to her writing abilities. I love Chelsea’s characters. They grow with each book.
This book was awesome, and I could have read about Khiry and Choyce forever! Their chemistry was off the charts, but their friendship blossomed into such a beautiful relationship.
The story behind this couple coming together along with the wrongs committed against them in past relationships could have interfered with their attempts at a relationship, but instead it brought them closer. I loved their sense of humor just as well as their seriousness when it came to one another's feelings. This story showed me intimacy at a heightened level.
All of the supporting characters were awesome and added their own uniqueness to this journey. They will have you laughing and cutting up. I look forward to hearing from most of them real soon.
I absolutely love Choyce and Khiry’s journey to love 💕 HEA! Except for the obsessed psycho! Khiry is a man after my own heart ♥️! Khiry not spoke what he wanted but he backed it up with action! Choyce marched to her own beat! I don’t classify her as wild but a woman who knows and means what she wants! Chelsea you did the damn thang with this book! Can’t wait to read about Elias and Chance!
Book was hilarious. Almost gave up a few times. Glad I pushed on. Once I got in to it I was laughing every other page. I would call this a dramadey. Black and Black love is beautiful. A lot of grammatical errors. And page formatting could use a lot of help. Paragraph spacing would help with the flow of the book while reading. Topics and scenes change paragraph to paragraph with no clear transitions causing a lot of confusion.
Chelsea Maria writes such in depth love stories deep in spirituality. More Than You'll Ever Know is another such love story. Choice and Khiry even though they met under the worst circumstances had great chemistry from the beginning. This story was so deep with so many layers. Keep the stories coming Chelsea. Please give us Chance and Elias in 2021.
Your is so refreshing I enjoyed Choyce and Khiry story a lot it made me laugh and cry at the same time. Their chemistry and connection was so Wow!!. Really unexplainable I love their banter . They really was love at first sight love love love your books MS.Chelsea Maria can't wait for your next novel .
Aww man loved this story. First of all the name of the twins 😂😂😂. They twins was a mess. Peaches went through so much .but then the answer to all her prayers were Khiry her husbae they started off cracking jokes on each other then it turned into so much more. Her mom had issues. Im glad they caught that Creepy guy. Great read.!
I love Khiry and Choyce 😍 Khiry makes you want to misbehave just to get him riled up😂. I love Choyce and Chance's relationship the twindom is everything! I can't wait for Chance and Elias to have a story. Coach/Daddy Tyrell too because I know his story will be everything
It’s around here somewhere; I just need to find it! 😂 This book... OMG, I can’t recall laughing too much harder at anything!! Of course it has seriously tough patches in here, too. It wasn’t long before the punches rolled back out, though! Definitely recommend!!
This book was okay. The plot was good, but there were alot of inconsistencies, grammatical errors, and the storyline was hard to follow at times. The ending seemed a little rushed. I would've liked to have known more about Khiry and Choyce's happily ever after. Overall, this is not a book that I would read again unfortunately.
Good storyline but started dragging toward the end. The connection between Choyce and Khiry was instant, the attraction lit up the pages. However, due to circumstances surrounding Choyce, it just seemed like the relationship never got deeper. Also, the first half of the book felt like one long drawn out poem instead of a novel.
Who is this author?? Who is she who writes a romance novel with no sex scenes, no foreplay-ish kind of explicit scene, with the mention of God and His purpose, His will, His strength present all over and still manages to deliver such an awesome piece of writing. I’m definitely and fan and I ce any wait to read her earlier and later projects.
I love peaches an chance they are too cute an their bond as sisters are super strong.I enjoy every minute of this book an I hope you give us chance love story she needs her own spotlight. Keep up the great work.
I love Choyce and Chance. These twins were inseparable. I hated what happened to Choyce. Kyri wss just the man she needed. What started as pretend became real between them. I am so glad that Choyce and Kyri got back together.
Chelsea’s stories just get better with each one. Wow the suspense of it all. You know you are a bad (good) writer when you can hold the readers attention without one love scene. I hope, pray and plead that Geraldine gets her own book in 2021.
