A soothing empathetic rendezvous with your
Hurting (Mohi) & Healing (Kabir) self through the authors lens 💔❤️ (poetry collection)

“Maybe The reason that they Let go of You, is Because you are So Good, That they Don’t Know What to Do With You” 😍😇 (Excerpt from the Book & My Favourite lines too)

Why do we reminisce people who are no more part of our lives as “First Love”? Is it too much to make yourself your “First Love & Priority” 🧐 The art of Loving yourself, to heal to move on in your own time is like a thing that really ceases to exist ☹️ We are lusting after validation when the key to happiness is right here with us 😍

Some intense and deeply moving poetries on forgiveness, Give & Take, Suicidal, Denial, My Worth, It’s Okay, Body Positivity was like a ineffable flow of transition from Hurting to Healing ❤️❤️I re-read this book as there is so much to learn, relive, admire, share and cherish about the journey we all have experienced from Hurting to Healing 😇

P.S. The Letter of Apology, Hope & Love at the end is like a real closure for anyone who has healed or is healing 🤗

"When the moon asks about you, I gracefully change the topic because I know that the night is not long enough to let me tell about you and the moon can not stay forever to listen”. — Urja Joshi

'Yellow : The verses of healing and hurting' by Urja Joshi. It is a poetry collection divided into two phases : ‘Mohi' and ‘Kabir’. ‘Mohi' symbolises ‘the hurting' and the author associates it with all those who are struggling hard to find meaning in their life, the people who have got into toxic relationships and are still cribbing over their dark past. ‘Kabir' symbolises ‘the healing' who knows to let someone go if you deserve better. ‘Kabir’ believes in the sunrises and better tomorrow.

It is very beautiful book and each line of this book has a deep meaning. When you will read this book, the verses will get perched in your heart in a way that you won’t be able to put down the book and you will feel like reading more and more. The author further talks about self love, self importance, gender norms, shattered souls, rejections through her poetic versions. The book ends with letters written to self (the letter of hope, the letter of apology, the letter of love) which are absolutely pleasing. I loved the book very much I recommend this book to everyone as it is gonna make you feel optimistic and illuminated. Rating it 5⭐/5⭐

Book Title: Yellow
Author: Urja Joshi
Format:  Kindle

Book Title:
The title of the book ' Yellow ' is beautiful, attractive and unique.

Book Cover:
The cover image of the book is solid yellow with the second title written. There is nothing much that is inferred from the cover page.

My review:
The 2020 year has started with a lot of poetry reading, both in English and Hindi. The trend is being continued till date. This month of November welcomed me with an amazing poetry collection called ' Yellow ' by Urja Joshi. This book speaks to the reader's heart. With a nice collection of soulful poems categorised into Mohi and Kabir -  the book manages to impress the reader in no time.

The section - Mohi, contains the verses pertaining to hurt and hurting. Every poem in Mohi talks about hurt and pain. For example, the first poem:

                                                             I am the abused,
                                                                        And
                                                              I am the hurt,
                                                                      I am
                                                              The mistreated
                                                              The punished,
                                                                       and
                                                                 the seeker.
This poem has many aspects hidden in it. If a woman reads her perception is different, if a girl reads it differs, if a boy child reads, it differs, and if an old man reads the receiving will be different. This is just one example that I wished to share and applaud the writer's skilfulness.

The next section, Kabir, contains the verses pertaining to getting healed. Getting healed from heartbreaks, from disappointments and sadness.

Printed in an attractive font, each page allures the reader. Each poem is melodious and poetic that will straightly touch the heart. Every poem will have its own impact on an individual's mind. One of the striking point in the book is the absence of a title to each poem. The author has given the liberty to the readers to entitle the title name with their own reception of the poems.

The poems in ' Yellow ', though small in length, oscillate between various feelings and emotions like love, pain, failure, success, hope and so on. These poems shed light on the dark path in which the soul wanders with no idea where to lead itself. While reading these poems, it is very apparent that they are written by driving all the emotions from the heart straight to feed one's, withered soul. When reading some poems, it can be understood that such poems can be written if one has had the experience of true love. The memories of first love, first meeting, compassion towards fellow humans, pain that a true heart endures looking at the wrath created by evil forces in the world, etc., all of it comes alive in these poems. Few poems manage to rekindle those forgotten memories, whether societal or personal, with a rose-tinted hue.

With straightforward words, the author has taken care in presenting all poems that will appeal to the readers of all age above the average of a young adult who understands the language of love and its beauty. This book is like the journey of life. The book touches and talks about many aspects of life and the vulnerable emotions felt. With a very colourful cover page and interesting contents, the book definitely is a recommended read. Some poems are so deep in their meanings if read for the second time a different kind of perception is found. The layout, the font style and size are also the plus points that enhance the reading interest. The other best part is the doodles on every page and the quotes. The aesthetic sense of the writer is absolutely flawless.

Other than the above-mentioned poems and many more from the remaining poems are superb. With careful rendition and usage of words, these poems will surely leave an impact on the reader's mind. Also, these poems are so good that these make animated graphics and no doubt they can be adopted into animated films. The book is very entertaining, and the best way to experience this is to read it on a lonely day with a cup of coffee in a calm climate. Don't just read the words but experience them.

My Final Verdict:
This book ' Yellow' is a collection of abstract thoughts which, when felt and experienced, will leave your mind Yellow and Happy!

This book is advertised that it is for those who believe in love and those who don't. When I read it, I personally thought that this book was that, yet beyond and more.⁣

𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤: Yellow⁣
𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫:⁣ Urja Joshi

My Review:⁣

As stated in the blurb, the book is divided in two parts: Mohi and Kabir. ⁣
At first glance, I thought that these two are the names of a girl and boy respectively, and this collection would be poems on them.⁣
But in reality, Mohi basically represents hurting, a phase, a term given to all those people whose stress hinders their ability to reach their fullest potential.⁣

Kabir on the other hand is healing, it is the optimism that even though the things seem worse at the moment, everything is going to be better.⁣

My thoughts about the Poems in Mohi:⁣

Every single poem/ verse in the Mohi was truly heart touching. A broken heart is considered to be the most dangerous thing in the world. It can be extremely painful for a person to overcome such pain and many a times, people are never able to move on, and continue to long for their beloved.⁣

Its said that happy memories last for few moments, but sad memories last for a life time.⁣

My thoughts about the Poems in Kabir:⁣

As mentioned in the description, Kabir was all about healing. And I felt the same way reading the poems in there. They were some sort of motivational pump. ⁣

The collection made us realise that we should never loose hope and everything will be good in the end. Its all about conquering and getting over your heartbreak/sadness. ⁣

My Favorite Poem from Mohi:⁣

You think you are ready ⁣
For the loss ⁣
You think you are preparing ⁣
Your mind and your heart ⁣
And your body ⁣
For their leaving in advance ⁣
But you can not. ⁣
When they will leave ,you will feel the pain ⁣
Despite of so many preparations ⁣
You will always feel the pain ⁣
Because love does not work like this. ⁣
Ofcourse it is going to hurt. ⁣

My Favorite Poem from Kabir:⁣

Universe sends Hurting ⁣
And then it sends healing. ⁣
Just like It sends rain ⁣
After a hot day ⁣
So, what If they injured you, ⁣
The one with the bandages ⁣
Is on his way. ⁣

My thoughts on the book:⁣

Even though all the poems written on both Mohi and Kabir were very well written, on a personal level, I enjoyed the collection of verses from Mohi than from Kabir. The author has done a great job and I adored the little illustrations as well.⁣

My Rating:⁣

I'm a huge fan of poetry and I especially felt like these poems were somewhat different due to the way they were divided in groups and that gave them a sort of uniqueness. Hence, I'm going to give this book Five Yellow Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⁣

Title - "YELLOW"⁣
The verses of hurting and healing
Author - URJA JOSHI ⁣@hiurja
Format-Kindle⁣
Publication - Evincepub Publishing ⁣@evincepub_publishing

Verses are always special to read or listen too, because they have a charm of their own i.e. they can directly deliever the emotions in form of words to the one listening to or reading to them.⁣

Such is this amazing collection of verses filled book.⁣

The Cover is very attractive and the content it within it holds is just on an another level.⁣

The title itself tells us that this book is divided in two parts : Mohi & Kabir.⁣

And before begining the versus, the author has given a little description of what role Mohi and Kabir play.⁣

Mohi is a representative of emotions which are mostly HURTING. While Kabir is representative of HEALING. ⁣

Well they have represented their particular areas very well.⁣

The author must be appreciated for this amazing creation. And those words in each and every phrase has an separate depthness of its own. From inclusion of darker side of loneliness, to emotions related to helplessness and everything related to the hurting soul is mentioned very appropriately in the Mohi part.⁣

And that was the part which will connect to most of the reader's because that's how our generation is right now. Like most of us have already felt this emotion of hurt or are going through one or the other rough patch of life.⁣

And Kabir's part also holds very much significance. It's an symbol that after sufficient amount of tears are shed we learn to move ahead. We start healing ourselves, we start to prepare ourselves for what life holds for us ahead. Healing process is also very important right. ⁣

Each and every verse has a significance of its own.⁣

And it'll all relate to you and will make a connection. ⁣

Those letters in the end were a bonus for readers. They will make you realise so many deep emotions.⁣

I related more with the verses included in the Mohi part and it might vary from person to person.⁣

I appreciate author for compiling these emotions filled verses so beautifully in a single eye appealing covered book...!!!

Book:  Yellow-The versus of hurting and healing

Author: Urja Joshi

Format: Amazon Kindle

Genre: Poetry

Pages: 200

Rating: 5/5

Summary: This Masterpiece is divided into two parts where Mohi symbolises the hurt and Kabir symbolises the healing.

To call it just a book would be understatement. It is like a soulmate sitting next to you and talking to you. While reading the book I felt as if Author has broken open my heart and soul and was silently observing what I was going through when I was hurt . It was as if Author has secretly penned down all that I felt, thought and spoke to myself over past years . While reading the second part I felt as if author has put a balm on all my wounds, which were mentioned in first part . The best part was the last portion of second part where there are letters of apology, love, hope. After reading the book I felt as if I have kept my love away from myself. After reading this masterpiece I have promised to love myself .

This is not a book just to read once. It is to be read every now and then to remind onself to love onself more than anyone else out there

Language: very easy and flowing. The sweet and creative drawings on every page go with the flow of content on the page.

Cover of the book: Its yellow cover resonates the name and idea behind the book. It will make you curious what is color yellow synonymous with.  It is explained somewhere near the end of book

Why one should read this: If you ever wondered if anyone understands you or not ? It you are looking for a light, breezy read. Your past will revisit you sometimes will reading this book but it will also heal you in the way you have never healed before.

Why one should not read this: If you are cold hearted , don’t go for it.

You must have probably heard about this book. Recently it has become a quite popular one. Lemme tell you my experience.

Good that the verses had a theme : hurting and healing. It can be relatable to many people. The language is simple. The art beneath the prose poems added more charm to this book.

Believe or not but some poems aren't engaging at all. But we must appreciate the author for other extraordinary poems and her efforts in making this book.

This book is a collection of poems divided into two phases, hurting and the healing. The author has defined each phase with unique names. She calls the hurting as Mohi and the healing as Kabir.

The poems in the hurting phase focus on the broken relationship, the anguish that comes with it and in the healing phase it talks about the process of recovery from the heartbreak, the efforts you put in to make a comeback and to become you again, the way you start living your life letting go of all the suffering that the hurting phase gave you.

When you are in the phase of healing you go through a lot of things emotionally and physically. The author tries to motivate those trying to get themselves out of this mess through her poems and in particular with one poem where she tells you it is ok to have these thoughts and feelings.

This book is a roller coaster ride of emotions and the author has very beautifully portrayed them. All poems are heart touching and unique in their own way. And the sketches used with each poem are just amazing. And the letters at the end are very beautiful and interesting to read.

I liked all the poems in this book especially the one I just mentioned above where she tells what things are okay in the process of healing. I liked this book so much and I recommend it to all poetry lovers.

Self love , healing and growth in abundance in this poetic collection

Ratings : 4.3/5

Did you ever face a heartbreak or rejection? Do you ever doubt yourself and feel you are not good enough? Read this one for some healing and acceptance of the self.

What I liked about the book:
—> Abundance of motivating and healing words.
—> Almost every piece was relatable.
—> A perfect companion on a day when you’re feeling low or unmotivated.
—> Can be finished over a morning or evening cup of tea/coffee ( after all, a good book + a favourite beverage is the ideal combo for any reader)
—> All the little doodles/illustrations added a charm of their own. loved them all.
-> My favourite titles from the book are ‘Sometimes I write about you with my eyes closed’, ‘The thin line, we cross every time’, ‘They can not be the illness and the medicine both’, ‘For Women who don’t have a partner’ ‘It’s okay’ and ‘Do it for yourself’
—> The letters written to self (The letter of apology, The letter of hope and The letter of love) at the end were my favourite part of the book.

What I did not like about the book:
—> The poems in ‘Mohi’ section seemed to focus on heartbreak around love a lot and some of them felt repetitive and dull (heartbreak could be resulted from other things too I believe)
—> The poems in ‘Kabir’ felt a little preachy.

Quotable quotes:
—> To the heart.
you call it broken,
yet it is still beating
inside your chest.
—> What sort of love is that?
Which can only be spoken of
And not showed?
What sort of love is that?
Which exists only in your words
And not in your actions.
—> Do not talk about faith to me
I grew up believing
That I am not pretty
But the day he told me,
He thinks I am beautiful
I believed it
—> I was so yours
that I was never mine.
—> your heart beats for you more
Than it beats for anyone else.
—> And if you’ve to impress me
Do not compliment my skin deep beauty
Say that it's my brain
and the way I see the world
which moves you.
—> Love is a feeling
And undoing it is not an option.
—> What is not okay
Is to not Love my own self.
To end all of it
Thinking that Tomorrow will never change.
It is not okay
To not give your life a chance
To show her good days
To you.
—> the moon
has the stars
But the sun is lonely.
If you shine Bright enough
You don’t really
Need anyone by your side.
Your love Makes enough light
For you
And the world.
—> What kind of Audacity I have.
I have never been there for me
And yet I expect the world
To be there
When I need help
When I need love.
—> Good or bad
It is not here
For long.
—> I need to know
that
If I feel empty
Only i can make
Myself full again.
—> And
if the future generations
Ever ask you
Who are women?
Tell them that
Women are everything
That men think they are not
—> We don’t need
The mouths
Who ask you,
“how are you?”
we need
Ears,
Who listen to
Us genuinely
When we answer
The above question.
—> I grew up
Looking at the
Sunsets
and
The sunrises
How can I not believe
In beautiful endings
And hopeful Beginnings.
—> The biggest mistake
Is to promise them
That you will make them happy
When you haven’t
Made yourself happy
Since years.
The biggest mistake
Is to call everyone
Out there beautiful
And failing
To recognize
Your own beauty.
—> I am in a guilt. A guilt of loving everyone on this earth but myself.
—> You spend a lot of time thinking why aren’t you gorgeous like others or the other person why aren’t your hair thicker, skin fairer, voice sweeter, eyebrows more visible, breasts perkier, legs taller. I am here to tell you that you are the most beautiful human I have ever laid my eyes on and you are not gorgeous like them, because you are gorgeous like you. Some day you are not the world’s definition of beautiful then it is not a big deal. You are your own type and that is enough.

Writing is the most powerful way to express oneself. It becomes all the more powerful when the author uses poetry form to express themselves. The same powerful expression is seen in Urja Joshi’s work, “Yellow: The Verses of Hurting and Healing.” The title of the book says a lot about it, yet the author keeps some meanings hidden, which can only be found out when the readers go through the verses. It is not necessary that there can be only one manner in which a person can get hurt, but whoever goes through a tough time can read this attempt of Joshi and see the effects her words have.
The poet gives a brief introduction to the work in the beginning. She clearly states that it is,
“a book written and illustrated by author, which is for everyone. for those who believe in love and compassion and for those who don't. those who have healed and those who are still in process.”
This is an indication of the fact that the book is not just a straight set of verses that the author has composed but rather a collection of words that are likely to have a profound effect on the lives of the readers. Joshi may have used lesser words on every page in her verses, but her thoughts are strong and speak to the readers without any diversions.
To concretize her ideas, the author uses ample illustrations in “Yellow: The Verses of Hurting and Healing.” These images may be simple in their making, but they are necessary to make the readers understand the thoughts of the poet more closely. They also help the readers in connecting with the ideas in a more tangible way. To keep the readers connected throughout, the poet does not use any extraordinary language too. There is the ripeness of emotion, and it is conveyed through lesser and easy to understand words.
The readers are already prepared that “Yellow” will be more like a journey that will make them sail through the phases of hurting and healing. What conspires in the process of hurting and how an individual is affected by it, the author explores it all in her verses. Her style of writing is not much like what readers would find these days; instead, the poet takes a form of writing where she uses fewer words to convey development in the life of a person.
The version presented by the author may be from the viewpoint of a woman, but restricting the thoughts only to a woman would not be fair. The incidents and happenings that the author narrates are something that could occur in anyone’s life, whether it is a man or a woman. More or less, every person has gone through tough times where they have been hurt and are going through or have gone through the process of healing. Therefore, recommending “Yellow: The Verses of Hurting and Healing.”to be read by all those who are going through ups and downs in life would not be wrong. At the same time, they would also get a share in the wisdom that the author has acquired through her experience or by the observation of others. But in short, it can be concluded that there will something to learn for one reader or the other once they take this book in their hands.
This is what makes “Yellow: The Verses of Hurting and Healing” a recommended reading for not just the younger generation but those who are grown up and mature too. The healing process is not something that can happen overnight. But, with the reading of “Yellow: The Verses of Hurting and Healing,” the process may get some speed. The experience that the readers would go through would be no less than rising from the ashes like a phoenix where the author shares the secrets of healing and getting better with each passing day.

Beautiful poetries to heal Love.

This book is not parted in two parts though has it two beautifully narrated personas. First I met Mohi and then kabeer.
Mohi is not just a character , I found Mohi in me , you will find her in you once you will meet her through author's word.
Each and every emotions is Beautifully penned and none of them will be overcooked ,it's all raw and genuine feelings which anyone can feel in their heart, not necessary that such heartbroken feelings need to understand by heartbreak .
To understand Mohi ,these are few feelings from her own words .
"And when I say I feel good Do not Believe me Smiling face It is her habit To hide And hide. Till people Believe it. "
"Sometimes I wonder Why did I even Confessed That I loved you I should have known When I say I love you Its my problem to deal with What can you Do In this? "

I liked almost every single page though few became my favourites, which I love to share with you all, Denial , Undo, Lost, When it is one sided ,Home, self hate, secret affection.
Kabeer is happy go lucky character, with be positive attitude and talk more about inner strength . Kabeer definitely Ignite the hope which will heal the hurt .
Few picks which I loved and felt to shared in my review are
"I am the revived, the cured. And I am the healed. I am the seeking "
"It is okay for me To cry and plead and break But it shall not be okay For me To do that forever. "
And the most beautiful lines which definitely changed my perception to see this life and relations is
"You are such a bright diamond That you don’t fit in any of the designs this world has for you. You, on your own, and all alone are the jewelry The most beautiful and the most expensive jewelry. And if you know this about yourself Then stop being in those hands Which cannot afford you. "
I thoroughly enjoyed every single word in this book .And the most attractive part is the way every single poetry illustrated with unspoken sketches . Words and sketches are completing and complementing each other . This book will surely help you to heal and love yourself more. Must read if you love Love and still feel that love exist .
Beautiful end begins with yellow holding amazing note from the author's to everyone who will open this book till it ends with self love . My Best wishes for the author Urja Joshi.

Genre- Versus

The book consists of beautiful verses of poetry. It is divided into three parts: Kabir, Mahi, and self-love letters.
In the start, I thought that the first two parts i.e. Kabir and Mahi are the names of the characters but when I read them deeply, I found that these are the phases which everyone feels at one point in their lives. The main theme of the whole book is Hurting and Healing but this does not mean that the whole story revolves around love, break up or relationship. No, not at all.
Rather, the book focuses on other aspects like acceptance, feminism, rape and much more.
Let me tell you a glimpse about the three parts which the book compromises of:

Mohi is that phase which talks about sorrow, pain and distress. In every dark place, we look up for a ray of hope which is Kabir, as per the book. This phase states the facts and Realities.

Kabir is that phase which talks about a ray of happiness, hope and healing. It is a quite motivational and recreational phase.

The third part of this book deals with self-love letters which were too good to read.

I loved the way the author has portrayed both the phases. Even there is a sweet thing i.e. after hurting comes healing that is why Kabir is after Mohi in the book. Many amongst you might relate to Mohi's phase quite well but when it's about my personal opinion, I relate to Kabir as it is a phase filled with positivity, energy, strength and potential.

It is a thought-provoking book and I definitely would suggest you give a read to it. The author has written this book so beautifully, even the language used is reader-friendly.

When you will be going through with each word in the book, do not hurry to end this book, rather read slowly and understand the depth of every word or versus.

Must read book

Title: Yellow (The verse of hurting and healing)
Author: Urja Joshi

Genre: Poetry Book

About the book:

This book "Yellow" is a poetry collection book. As we know life has both dark side and bright side. So here the author has presented this book in two phases, Mohi and Kabir. Mohi as a part of "the hurting" and Kabir as a part of "the healing".

Review:
In the first part of the book the author has dedicated the poetry to those who are in depression, pain, heart broken and are still in process to heal.

In the second she has dedicated the poetry to those who believe in love, compassion and positivity.

Every verses in this book are beautifully crafted and will make you feel deeply from the heart.
I liked all the poetry and few of them are my favourite.

"When the waves of the ocean hit the shore It takes some of the sand with it And leaves behind some. You look at what is left behind But you never see that which has been washed away You stand there what they have left for you But you never take a moment to reflect What they took away with them Its your permanent pain and tears".

"Take a break Stop being available For everyone for a second. And be there for yourself Fill the container You’ve been Endlessly pouring from. You don’t even realize How many times Your soul has cried your name for help And you were not there To answer. To help you".

Here each poem comes with illustrated and fills more enthusiasm to read.

I really like the author's way to portrait the poetry and I thoroughly enjoyed the book.

Language is so simple which is easily understandable.

I recommend this book to the readers those who love poetry.

Happy reading :)

Book: Yellow: The versus of hurting and healing
Poet: Urja Joshi

This is a poetry collection divided into two phases : Mohi and Kabir, where Mohini symbolises 'the hurting' and Kabir all about "the healing'. So the book is divided into two parts, the hurting and the healing, where in the healing phase, there are some letters written by you for yourself.

Both the parts of the book are so well written and penned down that you could not stop yourself from falling in love with the words written there.

Mohi, the hurting part, openly talks about appreciation, confrontations, scars, sunsets and heartbreaks, telepathy, suicide, lust, heartbreaks and love and love and love.

While, in Kabir, the healing part comes with the beam of positivity. It talks about better tomorrow, self heal, glory, self worth, human tendencies, karma, pride, dreams, body positivity, love and life full of love and of course healing.

The letter in the ending are like the cherry on the cake. The are truly heartwarming. You can connect your cell with each and every word of the letters. They are not just to read, they are to live.

The poet used the figure of speech like metaphors, simile and paradox so beautifully that you will cherish the moment when you read it.

It is highly recommend book and for each and everyone, for the poetry lovers as well as for non poetry lovers also and for those who are new in reading. The language is also easy so you would not face any difficulty in reading it.

Also, the cover of the book is attractive and the illustrations are gorgeous.

Overall it's an awesome poetry collection.

🌸 Yellow - Thé verses of hurting and healing

🌸 Author - Urja Joshi

Have you ever fell in love ?
Have you ever been betrayed?
Have you ever cried without pain?
Have you ever smiled without reason?
Have you ever felt lonely in crowd?
Have you ever looked for the dead end?
It you have felt any of the above then pick this one .
This book is beautiful collection of feelings which are jotted down in the form of poems. Mohi and Kabir , these are not the two characters instead it’s a portrayal of each one of us.
Mohi - the hurting and Kabir - the healing depicts some or the other person’s feeling . Mohi and Kabir they complete each other, both of them need each other , if one is hurting the other is healing.
The author has painted the emotion so beautifully on the paper in the form of words that they leave you in tears. The hurting stirs your emotions while the healing gives you hope and makes you strong . It fills you with positivity and shows a path which leads towards healing.
Author has depicted both the sides of the coin in the form of Mohi and Kabir. The poems are short and leave an impact on the reader immediately.
At the end there are few verses in the form letters . Reading these letters make you mentally strong and inspires you to look towards the positive side of the life.
And one very interesting thing about the book is the illustrations done by the author, simple and delicate ,conveying every bit of it.
This book is a soul stirring collection of poems and no doubt a must pick for people who believe in love .

Yellow: The verses of hurting and healing is a collection of poems which can make a great change in you. The book encourages you to love yourself and make you a positive thiking one. The poems in the book are divided into two parts , one is the 'Mohi' and the other one is 'Kabir' . In Mohi the author tell us how everyone your anyone is hurting you in one way or another and in Kabir the author is trying to heal the hurt once. It gives you a hope to live especially for the heartbroken once. I would suggest it as a slow read ... Daily 2-3 will make your day great. My favourite one was " If letting go is so hard, then think of it as an important decision either you can have them or you can have yourself. Make the choice and let one of them go".I would recommend it to everyone the one who is already hurted or the one who has no idea about it , The book can teach you how to stop being hurt or never hurt yourself. Its a must read for all.

    POETRY BOOK RECOMMENDATION
About the book :
'Yellow' is a collection of poetries based on healing and hurting.Author has divided the book into two sections; 'Mohi' & 'Kabir' that depicts hurting and healing respectively.
Author has portrayed Mohi & Kabir not just as a character but also as a phase that most of us has went through or going through.
The book is about the journey from Mohi to Kabir.
MOHI
The poetries are about abandoning feelings suddenly, about forgetting the self-respect when in love, about small memories that make things complicated for one to move on, about the efforts one put for their loved ones, about faith, trust and cheating.
KABIR
The poetries in this section are about self-love, about the process of moving on.About accepting yourself and forgiving but not forgetting.Poetries about enjoying your own company and giving time to yourself.

There are also letters in this book for apology, hope and love to yourself.

Review:
My goodness it was such an amazing read for me.The poetries are very much beautiful , relatable and thought provoking. My excitement led me to finish this book in one sitting.

Author's poetries in this book are not only about hurting and healing but also about the insecurities and self-doubt that we go through.I would say a very realistic feel is there in her poetries.

The narration is very much pleasing and light.Writing style is simple yet elegant;easy to understand.

I appreciate how beautifully Author has metaphorED sun and moon in the poetries.

What makes the book more appealing are the illustration in each and every pages. The cover and title goes perfectly with the poetries.

📗Title : Yellow: The verses of Hurting and Healing
📗Poet : Urja Joshi
...

Urja Joshi's "Yellow: The verses of hurting and heling" is a collection of poetries.
The poetry collection is categorised into 3 different parts, first two parts are Mohi and Kabir and the third part is the letters to oneself.

Mohi is all about hurting and Kabir is all about healing. This means in everyone's life there comes a hurting phase and a healing phase and we all have to overcome those phases. The Kabir phase has the positive vibes embedded in it. The illustrations in Kabir phase needs a special appreciation as well as it suits the verse that is written parallel to it.

The letter to oneself is the last part of the book which is the most important part of the poetry. This phase is addressed to YOU because you are your first love before anyone else. This book is a perfect read for all the stages of life and for everyone, for the one who believes in love or the one who don't believe in love; the one who has moved on or the one who didn't.

I would seriously like to take a moment to thank the poet for giving such a big message relating to our life in a very pretty way. I personally enjoyed reading the book as the language was very simple and easy to understand.

I would like to recommend to all the readers, doesn't matter if you have read poetry before this or not, let it be the first one and I bet you will love the book.

🌸🌸Thank you🌸🌸

Poems of Hurting & Healing

This beautiful and Pretty covered book is a treat to one's eyes , mind and soul. The book is a collection of short poems.

The poems are divided in two phases:
Mohi & Kabir

Mohi- This part speaks about people hurting in some form or the other, It's about people struggling to find meaning in their lives. My favourite sentence or phrase for Mohi " Despite so many preparations you will feel the pain because love doesn't work like this".
I think everyone is hurting in someway or other so it's just so easy to relate to this part of the book.

Kabir- This part talks about healing after the hurting. This part of the book is very important because it gives hope to all those who are hurting. There is hope that you will heal.My favourite poem here is " If letting go is so hard, then think of it as an important decision either you can have them or you can have yourself. Make the choice and let one of them go" How apt is this to every person.

The book is for all, the people who beleive in love and compassion and for people who don't, for those who have healed and those who are in the process, for the feminist, the gender norm shaterrer.

The book is for all, Do read it. This is definitely a good book on poems and will make you feel positive and radiant by the end of the book.

The ending of the book has the author writting letters. This is very unique and I found it very interesting too

Review:
Written into 2 sections, the first part focuses on the pain, depression, broken heart whereas the other part is about self love, let go, healing and positivity.
The book consists of meaningful, emotive and relatable short poems and quotes that keep you engrossed until you finish reading. Language is quite simple.
The end of the book is concluded by some letters written to self, about forgiveness, hope and love which again makes you feel hopeful, strong and worthy.

Each poem comes with illustration which makes them more worth reading.

A few lines from the versus that I loved:

"When we were born our mothers never told us that we are born for someone. They said we are born for great things & I hope no one ever forgets that."

"We don’t need the mouths who ask you, “how are you?” we need Ears, who listen to us genuinely when we answer the above question."

I also loved the poems bearing titles at bottom:

Secret affection.
Confrontations
Denials.
Better tomorrows.
Do it for yourself.
Do you allow yourself to heal.
Body positivity.

And of course the letters , so empowering!

The author has expressed the emotions in such a way that it impacts the reader's mind. Themes and narrations are apt and relevant.
A must read.
Thoroughly enjoyed.
Appreciable work by the author.

Would highly recommend to give it a read.

Poetic expression has the power to heal the worst experience and this collection proves it in distinctive way. The poet Urja Joshi has divided this collection symbolically in two phases on the basis of poetic sensibility namely “Mohi” & “Kabir”. Both the phases reflect a feeling of an expressionist but Mohi expresses situational pessimistic account and “Kabir” expresses optimistic tender emotions. The journey from Mohi to kabir in poetic form is all about from suffering to cure, from losing self to finding inner soul, from pain to acceptance of that pain and so on.

Simplicity in expression is important if any poet wants to prompt through power of word and sense of poetic composition, and here the words and phrases are filled with strong thumping emotions that help to connect with Mohi & Kabir as real characters inside all of us. The collection starts with random introductory tone and ends with self actualisation that makes this journey reading impressive. Lyrical tone makes an impression of romantic poets and she seems to follow romantic era of poets as far as simplicity of language is concerned.

At the end, this beautiful collection provides a soothing effect to the soul and cure to your psychological distress that we all experience in our life.

This book revolves around the mere idea of hurting and healing. The book has two parts - mohi, the hurting and kabir, the healing.
Mohi speaks all about the hurt and heartbreaks that one faces in love. And Kabir speaks about healing that one goes through after being hurt. The pain that one bears after being rejected in love Or by being betrayed by the one who they had thought to live an eternity with, that pain is described in so beautiful way. The words and drawings on each page gives it a true melancholic look throughout the whole book. It will remind you of the your first heartbreak or your first betrayal and you will relate to each word of it. That pain, that doubt, that curiosity of contacting them, you will relate to everything..
I liked the hurting part most as it was truly beautiful and heart wrenching. However healing part was an another level of beauty.
The poet has used the most easy and yet lovely vocabulary that touches not just heart but also the soul.
This book will surely make you cry if all Poetries are relatable.
I just loved it.
The only thing I did not like was it's length.. I was actually expecting more poems.
A must read for all the romance lovers and all the broken hearts.

🌼Name of the book : Yellow - The verses of hurting and healing
🌼Author of the book : Urja Joshi

"Collection Of Verses"

🌞Yellow is a lovely collection of poetry having two aspects. One is "hurting" symbolised by Mohi and the other is "healing" symbolised by Kabir.

🌞The first half is dedicated to the "hurting" that is the self sadness, anger, anxiety and sorrow that are caused by a heartbreak and as I said earlier the other half being dedicated to "healing" that is getting over a heartbreak by majorly allowing yourself to feel your feelings.

🌞Conveying 'Every dusk has its dawn'.

🌞The verses are pretty practical and will be relatable to a fellow who has gone through a heartbreak.

🌞The positive vibes of the Kabir verses are really praiseworthy. There is empathetic sketch on every page enhancing the beauty of the poems.

🌞The letter of love, letter of hope and letter of apology at the ending of the book are comprehensive enough to depict the central idea.

🌞Was my first poetry read and had an amazing experience. Will recommend it to the poetry and romance readers.

Yellow: The verses of hurting and healing is a of bunch of verses and poetry written by Urja Joshi. It is a collection of very nice and meaningful poems related to life, loss and the process in between. The emotions and themes covered in the book are very relevant, all the people will highly connect to these beautiful verses.

The verses in the book are very raw and have a deep meaning in it. These are very short poems but still has the meaning that many of the books don't have. I appreciate her for writing these kind of poems, it is seriously a work which deserve recognition. I loved this book and this is seriously my favorite book of verses now and I kept re-reading the book since I have read it.
