"Nine Months to Claim Her" is the story of Rose and Leo.
The heroine hails from a controlling family, and is pressurized to do business meetings for their benefit. On one such meeting, she has a one night stand with the hero- who then turns out to be the man her family needs help from. Lo and behold, she is also pregnant with twins! How they navigate the pregnancy and relationship forms the story.
I almost felt no chemistry between the characters and was pretty bored. Also, it seemed like they only came together for the baby and the romance was barely there.
This was a very good book, typical one night stand that leads to an unexpected pregnancy. The h was a sweet, beautiful and kind woman who was always trying to please her parents. She is she and caring. The H is the illegitimate son and he is always trying to prove himself, he took over the family business and made it better. They were able to find their way to each other. Good ending.
Nine Months to Claim Her, the second title in the Rebels, Brothers, Billionaires duet, delivers an emotionally packed story when two strangers meet and each step outside of their comfort zone allowing their true reactions to each other to be seen with no fear of reprisals for who they really are.
We had Ash’s romance in Stranded for One Scandalous Week, now it’s his half-brother Leo’s turn to find unexpected love and happiness with Rosanna.
Leo is driven to be successful in a way that overshadows everything else in his life. His relationship or his non-relationship with his father has driven his life goals since he was a teen. The elder Castle never acknowledged his birth as his son and set out to destroy Leo’s mother in the attempt to deny that Leo was in fact his biological son. This caused Leo to put everything into taking over his father’s holdings, to be wealthier, more successful, and more ruthless than the man who sired him. Those goals have been accomplished but with a bittersweet result – Leo trusts no one, except at times his half-brother, Ash. He is a man who must be in control, driven to continue to beat the demons of his past that even now will not allow him to sit back and enjoy the life he’s built from the traumatic childhood he experienced through his father’s actions. Until one night…
Rosanna has never been good enough for her status climbing parents. Her red hair, her freckles, her usual grades in school, and especially the curvature of the spine that had to be surgically corrected – and even then they were not satisfied with their daughter. Her trauma comes from being unseen, from being used to drive more clients to her parents’ business through the social contacts she was supposed to make at the accelerated, prestigious school she was sent to for networking. She was never enough, she knew it as did her parents to this very day. She toed the line, didn’t upset the parents, and tried to find her own place in the world through her own interests, mildly rebellious as they were. This night she’s stepped in once again for her parents to attend an opening with a company that they have been blacklisted from for very good reasons although unknown to Rosanna. She’s uncomfortable, still unseen until she spots a lush garden terrace at the building and thinking it is also an apartment on display ventures upstairs to hide and relax. Until one man would completely change her world that night.
I enjoyed Leo and Rose so much in Nine Months to Claim Her. If there were times when Rose’s stubbornness annoyed me, I quickly remembered how she was brought up. If Leo’s stubborn single-mindedness blinded him to what he was actually feeling, I understood why. And watching them work through those issues, although with tears and anger at times, was such an emotionally charged experience. I loathed both Rosanna’s parents and Leo’s father so much… and although there was a slight redemption for Rosanna’s parents it didn’t feel like enough considering what they’d put her through over the years. Characters are often more forgiving than I’d ever have been. In all, I had a very good time with this couple and would not hesitate to recommend both Nine Months to Claim Her or Stranded for One Scandalous Week to any reader who enjoys emotionally charged, passion-filled, love wins in the end types of romances.
Nine Months to Claim Her is an emotional story and I really enjoyed it. Two strangers, both pretending they are someone else had a wonderful night that both used to forget about their daily grind and all the worlds' troubles on their shoulders. A wonderful and unforgettable night and when it results in an unplanned pregnancy of twins Leo and Rosanna’s worlds collide.
Leo takes immediate responsibility and stops at nothing to convince Rosanna his plan for them to marry is the best solution going forward. I think Natalie Anderson did a fantastic job of creating Leo and Rosanna’s worlds, bot feel utterly alone while also driven for different reasons due to their family histories. Convinced he doesn’t deserve love or even want love, when Rosanna falls in love with Leo the build-up to an emotional conclusion is page turning. Rosanna is a pawn in her family’s career goals and ideology of perfection since she was a child. She’s never been anyone’s number one and to have Leo fussing over her is foreign.
Leo is Ash’s half-brother from Stranded for One Scandalous Week, and Nine Months to Claim Her does a great job of layering into Leo and Ash’s father’s rejections and the effects of that. Can definitely be read as a standalone but both stories complement each other. I really liked Leo, he really made the story for me, he was focused on providing for the babies and I liked Rosanna’s growth, especially when she didn’t like her life being taken over. Some really, really good dialogue and Natalie Anderson also made the pages scorch!
Thoroughly enjoyed this conclusion to the Rebels, Brothers & Billionaires duo and once again loved the mention of home... New Zealand.
Seemed a little rushed at first, things happening before having a chance to get to know the characters and therefore how they feel and why. But strangely, there was a section maybe halfway through where I read and then realized that Leo's talking to Rose, and thoughts about her were to seduce her and were effecting me too. I think I would have about fallen in his arms afterwards. Also, interesting to see a heroine as imperfect. Usually the author just focuses on whatever positive aspects the woman has. This author mention several times that she is thin, blushes easily and a bright red that clashes with her hair. Also Rose had a curvature of the spine that was corrected almost entirely an it is mentioned at least half a dozen times. And of course you hear about the loveable things about her trough Leo. I am kind of liking it and kind of not. I'm not used to reading about a heroine that is so imperfect, the heroine is usually more romanticized. But I kind of liked it because it was different and I feel a daring thing for the author to do.
Bottom line, I really ended up understanding and empathizing with the characters and by the end after reading the last few words I realized I was smiling. Worth reading, certainly above average, maybe worth owning.
This just missed the mark for me. I think there’s a leaning trend for Harlequin heroes to be less asshole-ish and I can appreciate that but there’s a big gap between asshole and insufferable. This Hs whole tortured persona was tiresome.
They both make assumptions, neither corrects the other and they bang. They part not knowing even the others name. Stuff happens and they meet again. He intuits h is pregnant before she does and begins a campaign to secure her agreement to marriage. He campaigns hard for marriage and immediately begins to question how wise marriage is. Of course, a hot minute later when there is disagreement he tells h to leave and she does.
He broods, she tries to move on and finally H has an epiphany that he must love her after all. Cue HEA.
I was just underwhelmed by the entire story.
Initial separation was 2 months, 3rd act separation was vague but definitely not more than a few months at most. Both are celibate during both separations. H isn’t a manwhore. Shocking, I know. No OW/OM drama. Safe read.

Two stars. Maybe 2.5 Leo and Rose have a chemical reaction, he thinks she’s a waitress, she thinks he’s a security guard. She’s the daughter of a celebrity interior design duo who are always trying to improve her (she’s got scoliosis, pale, redhead - H thinks she is beautiful) he’s the billionaire workaholic illegitimate son of a nasty dead tycoon whose contract her family is desperate to retain. She gets pregnant with twins after their ONS. So far so good. But then it got a bit flat until the end, which was sweet. She is more confident, he takes time off work for her and their family.
It was alright but it felt exhausting to pick back up and read because of the constant droning over what a broken girl she is and how someone so perfect like him can't like a broken girl. Also I was a bit disappointed that we got one sex scene and that was it. Not even like a second partial sex scene but the author kept brushing it off as like "oh yeah they just had so much sex like a second ago but you didn't see it".

I sped through this one! Quite enjoyable! I liked Leo and Rosanna. NA created a unique baby brought us together story. NA stories are always good and definitely lean towards more sweet/emotional for a presents (don’t get me wrong it’s still a sexy book).
This book was very refreshing. Rose and Leo meet in a way that allows both of them to be free of expectations. They indulge in a fantasy that ends up having some consequences. Rose never really planned to see him again but fate intervened. Both of them are damaged goods and their problems seem to conflict. It's interesting and refreshing to see the way it all gets resolved.
It was a bit boring, I liked the hero and how he wasn't a manwhore though. The heroine was just way too insecure and I felt her expectations were so high for the hero. After him telling her why he works so hard she almost immediately demands so much and then leaves when he of course fails. How about give the guy a couple weeks before expecting him to change a lifetime of being who he is?? He did tell her to leave but she was about to end it with him anyway. P.

Felt like a typical Harlequin, sad back story for both main characters. He's rich through hard work, she was born into it. He was denied, she was never enough. One night turned into a pregnancy, and he has to learn to step up in ways he never thought he could.
This was all the ridiculousness and stupidity I expected. I generally try to avoid this romances but sometimes their excellent marketing (titles and premise) just get me. This was definitely the usual mistaken identity and surprise pregnancy with a billionaire father... because of course.
Do I really need to evaluate the story? The heroine was a stupid socialite who didn't want the billionaire's help though at least this time she has the excuse of being well off... I think. She's way too willing to basically stop working if I remember correctly.
The hero is of course an emotionally constipated overbearing a**hole trying to do the right thing and f***ing up. I think he did try slightly harder than the usual though?
Anyway, I kind of get the whole 'I couldn't possibly abort or adopt' thing. Those decisions are hard no matter what your circumstances are. I also get the whole 'I am not marrying you just because I'm pregnant with your heir' thing. Self-explanatory.
What I do not get is that they want nothing from the millionaire or billionaire baby daddy. If the daddy was showing interest I'd appreciate that and if they had money I'd be taking it like so fast and so much!
