T.S. Woolard took us on a rollercoaster ride with Sugar and Cyanide of both sweet and dark, twisted love. Prepare for a macabre fairytale of adoration you have never seen before as his love for death traipses through daisies and he tiptoes through the tulips with each pain staking written piece of art. Ink didn't bleed from his pen, his soul did as he leaves drops of it on each and every page you turn. Dive into his heart and explore an ocean of madness and chaos as you suckle the sweet Nectar and then get burned by the Napalm.
T.S. Woolard lives in North Carolina with his wife and four Jack Russell Terriers. He loves sports (Hail to the Redskins), RPG Video Games (The Elder Scrolls, baby),and learning anything new.
For his work, look for Indiana Horror Review 2013, Bones II, Memento Mori, Serial Killers Quattuor & Demonic Possession, all published by James Ward Kirk Fiction.
What can I say to summarize this poetry book up in a simple review? First off, I live and breathe poetry. Second of all, TS Woolard is one of my most favorite Indie poets. His style is unique and beautiful mix between Poe and Tennison. But what really drove the nail home for me with this book was the fairytale romance with Death herself. You can see him flirt, feel his the yearning and temptation, and the withdrawal from the abyss. Each poem in this book is a layout of heart ache, broken promises and dreams, and pure unadulterated passion for those he loves. He bled for this book. You can feel the perspiration he emitted for this book. And your heart breaks with his with every turn of the page in this book. If I could rate it higher, I would. Don't miss your chance in partaking with the next poet in line for a Poe Award.
An amazing book of poetry written by a very talented author. I was sucked in once I started ot and couldn't put it down till I was done. I'd definitely recommend this book to all
The poetry in this book is amazing, and the tales are intertwined so naturally. I've never read anything quite so astounding. I recommend this book to anyone who appreciates artists who are not afraid to reveal their full range of raw emotions. Woolard is terrifying in his intensity.
