I really enjoyed reading this book! There were so many great nuggets of wisdom to chew on. I especially loved reading just how much Jesus has truly captivated Toni's heart. She was able to express her love for him all throughout the book. This was so refreshing to read!
I think one of the biggest take aways for me came from this quote, "There are times he(the enemy) orchestrates situations in hopes of derailing us or causing life altering events to hold you captive, both mentally and spiritually so you are no longer effective." This was such a light bulb moment for me! The enemy was doing this very thing, and I wasn't catching on until I read those words. He was trying to make me ineffective! I thank the Lord for opening my eyes to the scheme of the enemy. I will not fall for it and become an ineffective Christian! I will be effective through the power of the Holy Spirt.
Thank you for the wisdom you poured out Toni. It was awesome and very much needed.
P.S The hand drawn illustrations were absolutely adorable!
