Sanctuary

Rate this book
From USA Today Bestselling authors Sarah Biglow and Molly Zenk comes the second book in the Captivity series.

Have Lorelei, Aiden and their MCU allies escaped their city prison only to die searching for a shifter haven that may not exist?

Time is running out for Aiden and Lorelei. Chased by a deadly shiver of sirens and plagued by disaster after disaster, they must fight at every turn for a chance at health and freedom in Sanctuary.

The blood graft stealing Aiden's life is worsening. His only hope of lasting long enough to make the cross-country journey is to let Xander use phoenix tears to keep the Burning at bay. A sacrifice Aiden isn't willing for Xander to make now that their relationship has a chance.

The hybrid baby growing double time inside Lorelei keeps her from being focused on the mission. As does Douglas's ultimatum for their future. It's throwing her off her game. That means she's bound to make a mistake. One that could prove deadly for them all.

Their only hope of survival as they race across the barren wilderness is to rely on each other. With hearts and lives on the line, each decision Aiden and Lorelei make brings them one step closer to freedom...and one slip away from certain death.

See why fans of Sarah J. Maas and Patricia Briggs can't put down the second installment in the Captivity series.

Sanctuary: A Paranormal Romance Novella (Captivity Book 2) by Sarah Biglow & Molly Zenk is full of adventure and hopes as we continue the journey with our shifters as they race against capture to find the one thing that may save lives and give them a better home. It is a quick read and one that fully immerses you and steadily keeps you on your toes. There are little twists that you don’t see coming and the mystery of sanctuary is finally revealed but is it all that it seems. To find out we will have to read the next book for which I am now hanging. Sarah and Molly have given us enough mystery and drama, adventure and ups and downs that leave you flipping through the pages to know what happens. I must admit the tension was high and there was a moment when my heart went into overdrive but I managed to push through without any further health issues. LOL.

I will not tell you anything else you will need to read to find out what happens. You won’t be disappointed.

Sanctuary is the second book in the Captivity series by Molly Zenk and Sarah Biglow. It is a short paranormal romance with shapeshifters, action, adventure, and danger. And it is a very quick and easy read. After reading the first intriguing instalment, I was more than curious to see what this second episode would have in store for us. I actually found that I enjoyed this book a lot more than the first one- and am well and truly hooked now. I connected more with the characters this time round, than with the first book. Even though the books are quite short, a lot happens in a short space and the characters go through quite a lot in the process. I was anxiously following along to see how everything plays out for them.
After the events in the previous book, our team is on the run from the Shiver of Sirens who are hunting them- but they just seem to stumble from one mishap right into another. Aiden’s Bloodgraft is draining his lifeforce- and things take a turn for the worse. So, their quest for Sanctuary becomes a race against time. Lorelei has been thrown off her game majorly with what she’s going through. This leaves an opening for mistakes to happen, which if they do, could have deadly consequences. There are hearts at risk and lives on the line. Much is at stake for this band of asylum seekers. Decisions will need to be made, with no room for error. Our team is desperate to find Sanctuary, but if they find it, will it be everything they’d hoped for. We’ll have to read the next book to find out what happens next.
Can’t wait to dive into book #3!!

Thank you, Ms. Zenk and Ms. Biglow!

Sanctuary: A Paranormal Romance Novella (Captivity Book 2) by Sarah Biglow & Molly Zenk was a fast pace, thrilling read, that had me hooked from start to finish.

The second book in this unique compelling series, we are tossed back into the tick of things and it was pulling right out of the gate. I love how fast moving, detailed and exciting this book was. It has well rounded characters, complex plot, engaging dialogue and stimulating action. I flew through this read, and like the last I was sad when it ended. Yes, I do know there are more books, and I will be checking them out, (just pretty much, take my money,) cause I might be slightly addicted to this series. Now I will say that you have to read the first book before this one, as this series has a continuation plot line, and you will get lost without the first read. That and, since this book picks up right were the last leaves off, you're going to miss out on that heart pounding ending, and spoil the impact.

Overall this book, this series, is worth your time, energy, and it's worth to be talked about. So please take my super high recommendation and my golden stamp of approval, that you will get captured by this original, fresh, outstanding read.

Happy Reading

The story picks right after the events on book 1 Captivity feature in the fated mates anthology which i encourage you to read first because its so good!! Do not fear, the authors give a good background of whats going on here if you cant. It starts with a rescue mission gone wrong and Lorelei the siren must make a sacrifice to stay behind and take one for the team. Her goal is to save Aiden the phoenix with or with out her alive. Lorelei is a kick ass siren and manages to escape herself. Reunited with her team, they embark on a dangerous journey to get to Sanctuary, a place known as a safe heaven for all shifters. This story is action packed, witty, and sassy! the bickering fights within the team will make you laugh out loud and cheer them on! Its a mixture of outcast shifters trying to survived. At times, it gets a little emotional sad with Lorelei remembering Keegan, who is Aiden now. As a phoenix, once you rebirth your memories dies and a new person is reborn. With a Bounty on Lorelei and Aiden's heads, the journey is full of action and bumps on the road! No time for reminiscing. Loved this story! Cant wait for book 3!!

Sanctuary: A Paranormal Romance Novella is the 2nd book in the Captivity series by Sarah Biglow and Molly Zenk. It starts right where book one ‘Captivity’ finished. I would definitely advise reading the first book before reading Sanctuary as a lot of the storyline would be difficult to follow if you didn’t.
In Sanctuary, Aiden and Lorelei, along with their group of fellow shifters, are travelling towards Sanctuary in the hope that the blood graft that is slowly killing Aiden can be cured. As there is still a bounty on both Aiden and Lorelei’s heads, this journey will be met with many obstacles and great danger.
I loved that in this 2nd book, we get to know the characters so much better. We learn so much more of their pasts and their aspirations for the future.
Although there is great danger throughout the book, I love that it does have some humour through the story. I particularly love some of the names that they call each other, including Horse Face, Fish Fins, Free Range and Birdie Boy.
I’m so looking forward to finding out how this story ends in the 3rd book Eternity (I’m already a few chapters in and it’s awesome so far!)

I give Sanctuary: A Paranormal Romance Novella (Captivity Book 2) by Sarah Biglow & Molly Zenk, 4 stars.
**This review contains spoilers from book 1.**

Aiden has been accepted into their new group, while Lorlelie has been mostly accepted. But Aiden is dying. The only hope they have is to find a place called Sanctuary. It is best for them to head out on foot, so they start out on their long journey. But the journey is not the only peril. Both Aiden and Lorelie have a price on their heads and are being hunted. Meanwhile Aiden is slowly dying and Lorelie is pregnant with a rare hybrid baby. Will they make it, or will there be more tragedy in this ragtag family?

I enjoyed book one in this series and this second book picked up right where it left off and pulled you right back in. There is action almost from the beginning, along with the characters finding their place in this group and figuring out their love lifes. The group is fun and interesting too. You learn more about the secondary characters and meet a few new ones along the way. Both Lorlelie and Aiden have to grow and adapt to their new lives and it isn't easy.

If you are a fan of supernatural adventure/romance, this book and series is for you.

Sanctuary (Captivity Series Book 2)
By: Sarah Biglow and Molly Zenk
5 out of 5 stars

The story Sanctuary (Captivity Series Book 2) by Sarah Biglow and Molly Zenk is the second book in a wonderful series. I loved the first story and the second is just as entertaining and exciting. It is a book that includes shifters, action, danger, and even romance. This story finds Lorelei, Aiden and the others with them trying to find the city of Sanctuary. It is there where they hope to find health and freedom. Some say the city is just a myth. Will they find Sanctuary? What does their future hold? Read this book to find out. This is a story that is fast-paced and hard to put down. Most of the characters are familiar as they were introduced in the first book. As they travel and interact you get to know them a little more. There are moments that had me on the edge of my seat and others that are emotional. This is a book that I highly recommend reading. I would suggest reading the stories in order to fully understand what is going on. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Sanctuary (Captivity Book 2) A Review by Rhonda Pulk.
By Sarah Biglow & Molly Zenk
5 Stars out of 5

These two authors are incredibly talented and creative in their storytelling. The colorful descriptions of the characters and their unique and individual design draw the reader into their world. From a stubborn, dying phoenix to a brilliant warrior siren, the characters in this book lead us into an adventure of struggle and survival in a world that wants to ruin their existence.
Aidan and Lorelei gather and become part of an alliance with an odd group of rebel shifters and form a plan to escape from their world, to sanctuary where they can be free to live as they please.
The story flows from one incident to another smoothly and draw the reader into the situation. The ending is brutal and definitely leaves the reader screaming for more. I need to know what happens next. Get your copy today and do yourself a favor, grab the next one too! You will not want to be left hanging!

Sanctuary (Captivity #2) by Sarah Biglow & Molly Zenk

5 out of 5 stars

Sanctuary is the second book in the Captivity series written by Sarah Biglow & Molly Zenk is a great short read with a big cliff hanger. This is a Paranormal Romance with a twist where shifters are captive in the future and what will they risk to break free?

Since Lorelei, Aiden and their MCU allies escaped their city prison will they die searching for a shifter haven that may not exist?

Time is running out for Aiden with the blood graft running through his body and Lorelei with the hybrid baby growing in her. With being chased by a deadly shiver of sirens and plagued by disaster after disaster, they must fight at every turn for a chance at health and freedom in Sanctuary.

Can they make it to Sanctuary with-out losing Aiden? Will they make it to sanctuary before Lorelei gives birth? Will the MCU and their allies find what they are looking for?

I highly recommend this book/series and can’t wait to read book three Eternity…

Sanctuary (Captivity Series Book 2) by Sarah Biglow and Molly Zenk
4 Stars

This is book two in the Captivity series. I suggest that you read book one first so that you can understand the dynamics between the characters and the full story. Lorelei and the rest of the MCU are struggling to find their way to Sanctuary. Aiden’s life is waning and Lorelei’s pregnancy is advancing at an alarming rate. They keep running into obstacles and they are being hunted by her fellow sirens in the PLA. Racing against time, every mistake could mean certain death.

I really loved the evolution of the characters in this installment. Not only did they grow internally but as a family as well. Aiden’s near death experiences and Lorelei’s pregnancy hormones certainly added drama to the story. This is a great continuation to the story that will leave you hanging at the end. What a cliffhanger! I’m looking forward to finding out what happens in part three.

Sanctuary: A Paranormal Romance Novella (Captivity Book 2) by Sarah Biglow & Molly Zenk
5 Stars!!!!!

I was not let down by this second book in the series. I really couldn't put the book down. The authors have done such a great job of continuing the story line and bringing the characters to life. I felt as though I was in the midst of the action.

I found myself going through all the emotions Lorelei experienced. I can relate to the situation where she has her old love whom is now lost to her even though he is there with her and her new love. I can relate to the conflict she feels and I can appreciate the choices she needs to make to move on. I really like how the characters all seem to fit in and the drama unfolds between them. I really look forward to reading more from this series as I am so interested to see how things unfold.

Sanctuary is the second installment of the Captivity series by Sarah Biglow and Molly Zenk. I do not know about you but I almost hate more than one installment in a story. The reason being is because I am a little impatient to read the next book. I want it now!!! At last, that is the real reason why there are series is to get you to wanting more. Biglow and Zenk has made that in their Captivity series. They hold you with their ability to give you just enough to send you to the next page in the book. There is action, adventure, and life or death situations. (What is even harder is there is one more book to this series.) Aiden and Lorelei are running from the sirens and are coming into disaster at every turn. The mission needs to be accomplished for their freedom and health. Will Aiden and Lorlei make it to freedom or will they be one step closer to death?

Sanctuary (Captivity Series Book 2) by Sarah Biglow & Molly Zenk

4 Stars

This is my second book by these two amazing authors and it was awesome checking back in on a couple of the characters from the first book as well as meeting some new characters in this one.

This was a fast moving story and I finished pretty quick since I could not put it down once I started. It was full of emotion and I have to say I laughed out loud more than once with the interaction that went on in this group. There is no way I won’t read the third book because there is so much going on and I have to know how these authors plan to end this series.

This is definitely not a chosen genre of mine but these authors have made me fall in love with this story.

Awesome!

I really enjoyed book 1 in this series so I was really looking forward to getting my hands on this one and seeing what was going to happen. Again I was quickly transported into the lives of these characters and I was captivated from beginning to end. This book started pretty much where book 1 finished so it is necessary to read the stories in order to fully understand what is going on. The characters, were excellent as expected, I enjoyed reading their continuing story. I loved the emotions that the author put into the characters especially Lorelei, I really could feel all the emotions that she was feeling. I am really looking forward to more from these two wonderful authors and I highly recommend this book and series!

Sanctuary (Captivity Series Book 2) by Sarah Biglow & Molly Zenk

5-stars

Sanctuary (Captivity Series Book 2) by Sarah Biglow & Molly Zenk was an excellent 5-star read. It was full of adventure and romance. This novel cannot be read as a standalone. It is an exciting addition to its series. Lorelei continues to be my favorite character but I did warm to Aiden more in this novel. I really felt that the two continued to grow and develop as characters in this novel. I loved that the group off odd balls became to see each other as a family as they traveled in search of Sanctuary. They developed deeper bonds. This was an easy, fast paced, and wonderful read. I highly recommend this second book and the series.

Sanctuary: A Paranormal Romance Novella by Sarah Biglow and Molly Zenk is the second book in the Captivity series. This series does need to be read in order as this book follows on from the last.
This book is a brilliant follow up to the first book. You are thrown right back into the story and everything that is going on. It was so easy to pick back up with the characters. It honestly felt like I had never put them down at all.
This was a nice quick read but also fast paced and exciting. You really find yourself swept away by the whole story. If you haven’t already discovered these two authors then you should try this series immediately.

Each book keeps getting better and better. Sanctuary is Book 2 in this series it is filled with more twists and turns, edge of your seat action and adventure also weaved with romance and fantasy. These authors have created a brilliant and exciting storyline with some excellent characters, and some of the previous characters entwined into the story as well. This is a book that holds you captive with its fast pace, action and adventure and just general brilliance of this book.

I can’t wait to read book 3 to see where this story takes us, and what else these authors have up their sleeve. I highly recommend this read if you want to transported into this awesome world!

I'm seriously digging these characters and this world. There are some bits (like a fast growing hybrid baby) that are reminiscent of other books I've read, but I say that in the BEST way possible. It's like how your favorite books make you think about the possibilities that could result from the smallest details you pick up and then it blossoms.
I'm about to force all my friends to get this series so I can have ridiculous, overthinking discussions.
DO NOT read this book first. I know it says novella, and I always think they come first no matter when they are published but you need to read these in order.

Sanctuary by Sarah Biglow and Molly Zenk is the second book in the Captivity series. I do not recommend reading this first please pick up book one first. This picks up where book one left us and it didn't disappoint. This is a quick read that I did in one sitting because I just had to know where the story takes Lorelei and Aiden. This is an adventure where I was kept on my toes. There is suspense as well as a unique story. I can't wait to get my hands on the next book in the series to see where these authors take me next. I really enjoy the quick pace and they don't skimp on the plot within all the action.

This was a great quick read! I enjoyed the action, romance and of course can't forget the shifters. This book is probably my favorite so far out of the two that are in this series and btw this cover is amazing.
The action in this one had me on the edge of my seat and I was happy to see how things were progressing. The characters in this book are great and the survival mode they had to be in was intense.
I am looking forward to reading more by this author and more of this series.

I loved this book and could not put it down from page one till I turned the last page! The book is a continuation from book 1, the shifters were unique, and they were looking for a safe haven called Sanctuary that could be fictional made the story so engaging!
I read this book as part of a beta / Arc program and I'm giving my honest review.
