I started the Team 52 series with a little bit of apprehension because of friend of mine who reads much the same stuff that I do didn't enjoy it that much. I'm happy to report that the entire series is fabulous and I ended up binge reading it about as fast as I could manage. What a fantastic series with gorgeous heroes, spunky heroines, and so much action and adventure that you need to train for a marathon to keep up with the adrenaline pumping through your system while reading. Ms Hackett is one of my go to authors when it comes to books I know I will enjoy and they never fail me. My favorite hero is still Lachlan from Mission: Her Protection with his bada##ery and spooky golden eyes. This box set is great value and a great introduction to the series and Ms Hackett's writing. You can't go wrong at this price.

Same plot. Very predictable. Just plug in different names and location. Also sick of the tight skirts and blouses all the females wear.

Mission: Her Protection
Another frigging awesome series to get your teeth stuck into!! We've seen little flashes of Lachlan and the others from Team 52 throughout the THS books and now they get their turn in the limelight (even though they are way more comfortable in the shadows!)
Rowan hands down has the coldest parents...ever! They give academics a bad name. Rowan will never be enough for them and they don't shy back from telling her how disappointed they are. Rowan, however, is very happy working in the Arctic as a hydrologist. But when something nasty is unleashed upon her base, Rowan is one of the few survivors. Swept away by Team52, she is taken to their base, and then her head really gets twisted when she realises who she was saved by.
Lachlan has seen just about every type of hell on earth. He knows duty like no-one else, he even lost his arm to it. He and the other Team 52'ers have all been stood down from active service one way or the other but they still had very useful skills and abilities, which their boss Jonah is more than willing to utilise.
Lachlan is a man who is not afraid of strong women. Rowan may not be physically the strongest but this woman is mentally a steel door! His best friend is another badass babe! I loved the background between Lachlan and Rowan it was just so sweet.
This team puts the fun in dysfunctional personalities! I loved meeting them all and I've managed to snag a few clues as to possible future pairings and also who will just be hilarious to deal with. Brooks, no relation honestly, is the nerd like no other nerd you have ever met! Oh and Jonah, I was getting such a "Charlie" from Charlie's Angels vibe, and then whammy!!! Sooooooo not what I expected!

January Jones certainly left a mark on Seth Lynch. The first time they met she beaned him with a metal pole! Seth finds the woman hard-headed, stubborn, and aggravating. January thinks he is uber-macho, sly, and too mysterious for his own good. You just know that these two are going to be fireworks all the way!
I have to admit that January was hard work. She seems to live to be contrary and even when she knows it's sound advice she seems to delight in doing the opposite just because! Seth however, can also put his big foot in it and he can tromp all over other people's opinions. Especially annoying when he's right!
Eco-terrorists abound with enough firepower via a certain powerful artifact to level a city in no time at all. But instead of bombing or blowing it up, they'll send it "back to nature".
Even with a team wedding in the offing, the danger isn't far off and we're left with a bit of a cliffie as to what has happened to a certain sunny individual!

Kinsey is by the far the unluckiest woman on the planet! And that's saying something cos I'm up there! Kinsey may be the indispensable cog that holds the team together, gets them what they need, when they need it but she can't seem to land the one thing she wants - Smith!
Smith is a rough and tough kind of guy. He was burnt before and has no intention of letting anyone tromp over his heart again. He may have a bionic prosthetic but the guy could do with a bionic heart, for such a big guy he really is extremely sweet, even though you wouldn't think it when he keeps brushing off poor Kinsey, quite heartlessly too sometimes!

There was a lot of action and suspense from the beginning, mystery, adventure, wounded and intriguing characters, strong emotions, violence, team camaraderie, romance and heated passion.

Trying to deliver two artifacts to safety hands had proven dangerous to Dr. January James. But she was a strong woman, decided and with resources to fight against the threats. Seth Lynch, one of Team 52 pilots, had not had a good experience with Dr. James in the past and he did not had forgotten her. He was a hardened man who trust nobody outside his team, but the feisty woman needed their help to accomplish her mission. Wow, action and drama throughout all three stories of Team 52.
Lachlan is meeting Rowan again since their childhood. They kept each other safe as children, and now they are adults. Lachlan has come on board to help her in understanding what happened to her arctic team being killed by a device she discovered. During process she is chased, falling off buildings and falling in love with lachlan her protector. Lachlan is hard and alone so he doesn't want to be the guy who is falling but with Rowan in constant danger due to the device she found and being chased by baddfor the artifact, he wants to protect her. He does and falls any way.
Seth and January the archaeologist in Mayan Hills finds two Jade spheres which she plans to take to Team 52 for safety as its not known what the devices can do. Her plane gets shot down, Team 52 is called in to do search and rescue of device and anyone alive. Seth is anxious going in and hopes the good Dr is alive. They snip and snarl and trade insults at each other, but an attraction is there. January is discovered alive in jungle by Seth, they wrestle each other in mud as the fight not knowing its each other, she is small but she can fight. January has the device and has it hidden in jungle, she and Seth track through jungle to get it to safety whilst they await rest of Team 52 to come in and get them. Lost of action, military fighting, romance in between by couples, fighting badasses.
Worth reading the series as each member has their own drama of why they don't have relationship until the right one shows up.❤️😊

Strong women, alpha men, always a lot of action and there you go. I love Anna Hackett books, whether they are set in this world or others (one of my favorite series of hers, the Galactic Gladiators, is set in an alien world).
This series follows a group of soldiers that look for ancient artifacts that end up creating havoc around the world. Each story follows one couple and each time, the man and women are partners who work together, with the team, to solve the issue. I love the team camaraderie and especially, I love how well rounded and imaginative the stories are. Don't get me wrong- each story has a "formula"- the couple meet (or are team members), slowly fall for each other, face what seems like an unsurmountable obstacle (or get caught by the bad guys), have to get away and then win the day. But the thing that makes these stories amazing is really how fantastically imaginative the supporting story is and how, even though I know an HEA is awaiting me, I still get nervous when they get caught, mostly because I love the characters so much!
I listened to the audiobook set for my second read of these fantastic 3 books. Stella Bloom is awesome- I love her. I wish that the books were done were a dual narration (as her more current books tend to be) but if you're going to have a narrator play a range of male and female voices, Stella Bloom is an amazing choice. Great way to live through these wonderful stories!

AND THE MIGHTY SHALL FALL
3 amazing stories about the men who never expected love, weren’t sure they believed in it, but succumbed big time. Hardened warriors who became putty in the hands of the women they adored. Plenty of tension and action with a bit of suspense, but the romance is the highlight.
Team 52 box set: books 1-3 is the perfect way to launch this series. Could not put it down. Highly recommend.

Sensational world building and characters
I love these book and had read all three previously. They are fast paced, action packed and full of alpha males coming undone by the women who've claimed their hearts.
Anna Hackett creates worlds that sucks the reader in and keeps them captivated. I simply can't get enough of her books.

These are the first three books in a wonderful series for fans of action/adventure with a dash of syfy and plenty of romance. I love the story lines and the characters, who keep the reader cheering them on. Definitely on my must read list. Enjoy!

This series is an excellent read. It has suspense and action and makes you wonder what is going to happen next.

Good introduction to this series. Having gotten to know the characters in this team, it is very hard to not want to know the ending of everyone.

This is a really awesome series. Full of action, romance and intrigue. The characters are well written and engaging. I totally recommend this author and book.

Her Protector:
An interesting story. I'm not certain I buy into the main premise of the team, but I liked the story in any case. It is all fiction, after all. The characters are unique and likable. There were several instances of foreshadowing for me to look forward to exploring more of.
The narration was excellent and kept me on my toes.
Her Rescue:
I admit I skipped through parts of this story. I'm not much into jungle stories and had trouble getting past it. I do enjoy the characters from Team 52. This is the second story I've listened to of theirs but have run into them with Norcross & Sentinel Security stories.
The narration was good, but I have to admit to liking the dual narration better.
Her Security:
A action packed story. I liked Kinsey since meeting her in 'Her Protection. I was happy to get her & Smiths story. With her the cup always seems to be half full, even when things aren't looking the best. Smith is just intense, really intense. They make a good team.
I love how Team 52 works & plays together. They have each other's back always.
