This is fantastic! I absolutely loved and thoroughly enjoyed this book. It’s such a perfect blend of crime, thriller, and just the right touch of humor. Decided to listen audio book and I cracked up multiple times while listening! In hindsight, I probably should have read “The Guy of Rangoon” first. Did lose a bit of interest around the two-thirds of the book because I wasn’t familiar with “Gandamar Thaung Yi” character, but aside from that, it’s an outstanding read. Khat Zaw did a phenomenal job—I can officially call myself a fan!

The book was good, but the dialogue were bland. I enjoy the historical references slapped in there too.
The ending was quite anticlimactic but it’s historically more accurate I guess.
Decent but not as impactful as the Guys of Rangoon.

I'm kind of late to party and the hype train but still its definitely a book that worth all the "Hype" and whatnot. Haven't been able to stop reading it since Day 1.
