So has Kamachii finally gone mad? A war in the academic city itself, but extremely camouflaged? What better honor than the chameleon of the dark side if not this!?

Much like the chameleon of darkness that uses its surroundings, many plot twists here reveal themselves in the same way. It's a surprise box that honors the conspiracy theory base where almost everything is subjective and nothing is true, thus causing a nihilistic tone of mystery (obviously, there are truths, but it's just a comparison). It is as if the author took the prototype of "matryoska" and turned it into literary form. One plot twist is hidden by another and so on until you can see the whole mysterious scope and realize the fun joke that the author has created.

Toaru is really one of the few LNs that still manages to innovate.. Here the writing in conjunction with the script creates a mysterious tension because the absurdity is really big and strangely rational, which makes an irritating jump in the ear. No, a flea would be an understatement, it's a parasite that can provide both good and evil, a kind of symbiote that takes over the author's brain while manipulating him to think different things until the beautiful answer is revealed.
"A good intellectual game, my dear Whatson" Isn't that what they say?

One of Index's strongest points is the allocation of unknowns during the volume that will come together to form a solution. The good thing about Index is that normally these "unknowns" are so original and scattered from the clichés that they often go unnoticed by the reader and in the end cause a *BOOM of emotions. I really think that this incredible storytelling coupled with creativity allows this series to continue to innovate for so long.

In the same way that the previous volumes served as magical reminders to operate in a new role that pertains to "political fantasy", volume 3 provides us with several old names and levels of power working as antagonists, thus bringing the stage to an even more dangerous. Toaru has always sought to shake up the state of his world, but the funny thing here is how the terminology "world" can expand and branch into different concepts, so Kamachii uses his creativity and wit to coordinate and explore these other "universes".

As expected from the typical "battle royalle" arc, expect the introduction of a lot of new characters that don't necessarily have to be deep but fulfill their role of being original and charismatic and man, Kamachii is really good at making personalities, no?

Another important thing here is how the author is not satisfied with just using the reaction of the confrontation between Darkness X light in a city as dystopian and complex as this one, but also the very configurations of positions between students and teachers. These things in conjunction with a large pinch of "conspiracy theory" create extremely manipulative plot twists that create a small intellectual battle where the author will probably be victorious, as the mysteries are revealed and the reader will hardly notice. It's like a chess game where the author knows exactly what his next logical move will be to get checkmate, which would be the resolution of the mystery, with that, the author realizes and prevents him from making the next move until he makes it. the final checkmate in your mind and open your heart. Damn Kamachii, how can you be so creative and innovative!?

Without seriously thinking about the biblical theme that Index always wanted to address, let's take the main setting that made this series so original... Obviously, I'm talking about the "Absurdity of the world". What really captivates this series is its creativity to keep the reader entertained after reading literally two eastern bibles composed by volumes, almost like bible verses. What really helps in this "absurdity" is the balancing of the status quo, where even if it always comes back into place in the end, it's always done in a very rational and digestible way. With that, it seems that the more absurd the world becomes, the more absurd Kamachii can create the complex characters, coming together here in GT3

("Academic City's Biggest Taboo" seems to be taking a turn similar to "DRAGON", no? Ha, I'll be totally interested in that! The reveal was very good and consistent!)

(I took a quick look at the reactions on reddit and they were pretty good, but man, the negatives looked like people who have lost half their brains... It's ok you didn't like the new characters introduced, but there were people who read the LN with their ass to talk so much shit. Anyway, I don't want to sound like an idiot who rejects the opinions of others or a dictator, but I really recommend that you don't go there.... Seriously, the zoo IQ I got there was scary)

(Speaking of the final plot twist of the "?" chapter, man... That was amazing! It was a plot twist that merged with the narrative and was self-explanatory while not. Seriously, that really has great writing, so I hope you guys can enjoy this setup)

(Just as an addition, for Hamazura haters... I think you'll be able to enjoy it in this volume! No spoilers, the main problem with Hamazura is how the intense plot armor protects him, but here the status quo of the luck is high in such an epidemic way that Hamazura survives much more on his own ability than his "plot armor". Greetings, Kamachii-sensei)
