Loved Thaddeus and Annabelle's story!!! Also, love that Nora and Raymond's story that started earlier is continued here, too, and we get to meet up with Cornelia and Jake, too!! Thaddeus's first wife passed, leaving him with their daughter to raise. Thaddeus has had problems trying to juggle fatherhood and running the family business, and his brother, Alexander, has been no help at all, having come back from the war traumatized. Annabelle has lost both of her parents, and before her father died, she ran away from home, wanting an adventure. Now, she finds out that her parents adopted her, and she wasn't really a Singleton. As she struggles to figure out who she is, she struggles with her feelings for Thaddeus. Annabelle finally figures out one thing, she wants to use her money to help others, and gets some ideas of what that will look like. As she and Thaddeus grow closer, will this be a hinderance or a help??

When Raymond finally finds Nora again, can the two of them work things out?? Can she accept that Raymond loves her, regardless of what's happened since they last saw each other, and in spite of how she and her Da left??

My thoughts about this book:

• I enjoyed following Annabelle, Thaddeus, and Marianne as they solved personal problems and forged their way to a happily ever after in Central City.

• I loved the many secondary characters in this book. They added a lot of depth and interest to this story.

• Reconnecting with Raymond and Nora from the previous book in this series was a pleasant surprise.  Raymond's quest to find Nora was a secondary plot line.

• Some of the wonderful concepts presented in this book were: self worth, balancing family and work, adoption, and how difficult it was for a single woman to provide for themselves. This book also presented to the reader how hard it is to give or accept trust.

• I liked how faith and prayer were woven into the daily lives of these characters. No preaching.

I was given an advance copy of this book by the author. My review was voluntary and my opinions were my own. I highly recommend this book to readers who enjoy well done historical western Christian romances. I will be looking forward to reading more books by this author.

Another fine story from Diana Brandmeyer. Love, adventure, secrets to be revealed. Family is the people who love us, blood related or not. Follow along as Annabelle and Thaddeus, and Raymond and Dora find their way to each other. Mix in extended family and get a delightful historical tale full of great characters and stories we can relate to. I received a copy of this book from the author. No review was required. These are my own thoughts and opinions.

A Bride’s Choice in Central City by Diana Lesire Brandmeyer is the third book in the Frontier Legacy Brides series. I was excited to read this story because I grew so attached to the characters in the first book, especially Nora. If anyone deserves to find a happily ever after, it is this humble, lovely lady.
It was interesting to see the conditions women, like Nora, who had no family or husband to support them had to endure. It was easy to see why so many would marry for protection, food, or shelter to avoid the more unsavory lifestyles some women were forced to choose to survive. Her storyline emphasized how brutal life in the Western United States could be--even for those who went in hopes of a brighter future.
But Nora’s story isn’t the only one in this novel. The main story arc follows Annabelle, a woman who, after discovering secrets about her past, is on a journey to find out who she truly is. It was heartbreaking to watch her question everything she knew about herself, but I was proud of her for standing up for herself. And I loved how Thaddeus played a role in her discovering her true self.
Thaddeus is such a sweet man (with an adorable and hilarious daughter), but he is such a workaholic! I loved watching his very persuasive daughter, Marianne, soften him up and make him realize what is really important in life. I enjoyed the slow romance between Annabelle and Thaddeus, and how easily Annabelle fit into their family--a family to fill her wounded heart.
Overall, I enjoyed this story! It was fun to follow familiar characters from the last book and to get to know Thaddeus and Annabelle, too. If you enjoy Christian historical fiction, especially stories set in the western United States, then you will enjoy A Bride’s Choice in Central City.
I was given a copy of this book by the author with no expectation of a positive review. All opinions are my own.

I really enjoyed this story. This is book 3 on the Frontier Legacy Brides series and I recommend you pick up the first two in order to follow the characters and understand them a little better. Once again we were transported into Colorado territory and this time I was reunited with some previous lovable characters and introduced to some new ones. I really enjoyed Anabelle and Thaddeus story.

Anabelle has recently lost her father and has found out that she has been adopted. Her aunt kicks her out angry that she has inherited everything and is not really a Singleton. I felt for Anabelle all she wants to know is where she belongs and who she is. Thaddeus is single father, trying to balance home and work life and doing a poor job about it. His father-in-law sure does extend him some grace. At times I felt like Thaddeus took a little advantage of that situation instead of prioritizing between work and life.

The love story between them is sweet and comes very naturally which I thought worked perfectly! In the midst of their story we see our previous characters Nora and Raymond finally complete their journey and love story! I was glad of the way that all worked itself out. I also enjoyed seeing Jake and Cornelia once more and seeing how it all ended up with them.

I am not sure if this is the end of this series. It very well could be but I am left wondering what happened to Sadie and if she made it to her destination safely. (I tend to get too invested in characters! Haha!)

Overall I thought it was a great story of grace, forgiveness and new beginnings. The author did an excellent job and I can't wait to read more from her.

I received a copy of this book from the author. I was not required to post a positive review. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.

Book 3 in Frontier Legacy Brides series. I loved the first two and this one has lots of surprises in it also. It got my attention right from the beginning.

There are some heart-wrenching circumstances that happen to the characters, as well as, times of great joy. My favorite character is Annabelle. Even though her life is uncertain, she grabs onto opportunities.

The story is set in 1872 and the descriptions of the places and events depict the flavor and feel of the old west. It's inspirational and filled with lessons in forgiveness, trust, and second chances. The ending wrapped everything up nicely with some surprises as well. It's a very enjoyable read and I can't wait to read the next one.

A Bride's Choice in Central City is a well-written book that is a joy to read. The main characters, Thaddeus and Annabelle are very likable and admirable.. Marianne, Thaddeus's young daughter, adds humor and tenderness to the story. I enjoyed reading about the other romances that were taking place with minor characters in the book. They are tied in well to the main story. Also, I found the stories of renewed faith to be very encouraging. I recommend this book to readers of clean/wholesome historical romance and to readers of Christian romance.
I received a complimentary copy. I chose to write a review and share my opinion of this excellent story.

1872. Book 3 in an intricately wound story involving several ribbons of characters. Life in the West has its own flavor, with people who have travelled long distances for a new life, for various reasons. Each of the women have faced their own situations. This story spotlights some of the difficulties of women trying to support themselves. Nora had come out on a wagon train, Annabelle was able to travel by train. The towns are still in early stages, with lots of rough men they had to avoid. Tough women and faith woven throughout. Excellent read.
I received this book free from the publisher. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

Annabelle has been raised to believe that your family ‘bloodlines’ are what defines you and finding out she was born out of wedlock and adopted changes everything. Thaddeus, after being widowed has basically left his father in law to raise his daughter Marianne (who is a real sweetie) and has prioritized work over her but now has to care for Marianne – which is where Annabelle steps in. I really enjoyed the follow up to Raymond and Nora’s story from the earlier books. If you enjoy reading Christian Western historical romances you will enjoy this series. I received this book as an ARC and this is my honest review.

Diana Lesire Brandmeyer’s book A Bride’s Choice In Central City:

In this book you will read about the loss of loved ones and the struggles the characters went through. The characters in this book are truly amazing inspirational people who you will love getting to know better throughout this book. Diana will have you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next. I had the honor to review this book for the author for a honest review. I would give this book a higher rating than a five star review if I could. You will feel God working on these special characters.

If you enjoy reading Christian Western historical love story you should definitely be reading Diana Lesire Brandmeyer's books. This is book 3 of the the series Frontier Legacy Brides. You can read this book as a stand a lone but I highly encourage you to start with book one! If you start with book one you become involved in the lives of the characters and watch them grow spiritually through each book. That is one of the things I have enjoyed about this series is that characters from book one continue into the next books.

An interesting premise, but I struggled to connect with the main characters. I found myself more invested in the subplot, possibly because Raymond and Nora were minor characters in the previous book. But if you just want a nice light western to read on the weekend, this is your book.

Note: I received a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed are my own.

Another fabulous story from Diana Brandmeyer! More adventures for Anabelle and Nora in this story. Thaddeus is quite the catch! Little Marianna is so adorable. Raymond bless his heart he has quite the time of it. Annabelle has to learn and cope with her own feelings of inadequacy. I have come to love these characters as my own family. I am sure you will too. I highly recommend this book with all the different adventures and feelings it has in store for you.

Great characters and an interesting story in this third book in the Frontier Legacy Brides. You miss the background on the secondary storyline by not having read the one right before it.

This one deals with issues not usually seen in romance stories set in this time period.

This is the third book in this series. Each book gets better. I know it has a happy ending but the twists and turn and challenges to get to the happy ending are all so worth it. This one has some tears included. This has been a new author for me but definitely now one of my favorites.
