read until: chapter 83 // season 2 // [novel: ~chapter 65]
i’m so freaking glad that i got to read until the end of season 2 when he finally made a move that she can finally not misunderstood as teasing. feeling sorry about how eustaph was treated since young, lan decided to settle the house of latia’s debts and make sure eustaph has nothing to worry once he becomes duke when he’s officially of age. while she’s the author of this story that transmigrated into, lan isn’t too sure of what might come next because she never did finish the book. however, she knew that the sufferings of the characters were by her hands and she does everything she can to better their lives before she leaves. i adore lan and eustaph’s relationship. just FYI, they’re step siblings and aren’t blood-related at all. basically, lan kept treating eustaph as a brother while he never thought of her as a sister. there were so many moments leading up to the confession whereby his intentions were pretty obvious that everyone around them can sense it except for her. for an acting duchess who is great at deals, lan was clueless about romance. when she finally grew feelings for lan, it was simply adorable.
i can’t wait for season 3 of the manga to come out. i’ll probably read the novel slowly and whenever the mood hits. in the meantime, i’ll be waiting.

i was reading the manhwa first before the novel. right now the manhwa is on hiatus for the next season and it was 56% of the book. so maybe it will take 4 seasons in the manhwa to finish the book with some extra side story ❤️
it's really good and tbh I'm surprised it turns into smut after their wedding 😭 i was like, wait wait, what's with this detailed description of the action lol. but I don't mind hahaha.
the ending, tbh it feels rushed. but I'm ok with it. Lumiere's end is seriously weird in my opinion but can't say anything about it.

ren'im de ren'im.. yus'um da yus'um... ren çok zeki ve güçlü bir kadın olsa da her kore noveli klişesi gibi söz konusu aşk oldu mu mala bağlıyor. yine de aralarındaki ilişki çok güzeldi. 1 puanı yazar sırf yus endişelensin, kahramanlık yapsın diye ren'e 9999999 defa zarar vermeye çalışmasından kırptım. bayan biraz hoşgörülü ol karakterine ya deccal misin koskoca düşeşin başına gelmedik kalmadı tecavüz, şiddet, ölüm hepsinin kıyısından döndü aaaa baş erkek karakteri parlatıcam diye bokunu çıkarmış

Even though they're not blood-related siblings, it still feels weird to see them as a couple.

Eh, it's okay but I've seen this shit done so much better. Part of me wants to give it lower than 3 stars since nothing excites me (neither the story nor the characters) but I'm trying to stay optimistic that it gets 'better'. Just be aware; the ML is FL's step-brother. That doesn't bother me because it's been established that they are not blood related and that he didn't view her as a sibling and MOST IMPORTANTLY THEY DIDNT GROW UP or LIVE TOGETHER so yeah, I'm fine with him being the love interest, at least so far. But some people may find it somehow gross so...just be aware, I guess.
