Review for Edge of Night
Edge of Night is book 2 in the Shadow Security series by Ramona Gray. I really liked the first book and when given the change for an ARC I jumped on it. I really like the world Ramona has created and love the sexy shifters. Just cannot get enough of them.
This story is about Cooper the strong lion shifter who has found his mate, who just happens to be a very sacred human. Daisy has had some serious trauma in her past with shifters and is trying to learn to deal with her fear and anxiety. I loved this story and how they found their way together through some really tough obstacles. This book came out at the perfect time to cheer me up and put a smile on my face. I received this ARC for an honest review. I will be visiting this one and the series over and over again. Now I need Wes and Eleanor’s story

Edge of Night is the second installment in the Shadow Security series by Ramona Gray. It follows the story of Cooper (a lion shifter) and Daisy (human). Daisy has a paralyzing fear of shifters but is trying to get over it by surrounding herself by shifters at work. She is the receptionist at Shadow Security and Cooper is the boss. Cooper's lion has been obsessed with Daisy since she walked in for her interview but since she's terrified of shifters Cooper does not let his lion take over. This causes Cooper to almost go mad. When Daisy over hears the other shifters in the office talking about Cooper descending into madness she decides that she will help Cooper. This is a very sweet and sexy read with a great alpha hero who tries to protect the heroine at any costs. Definitely recommend this series can't wait to read the next one.

Shadow security definitely keeps ramping up as each subsequent book comes out. If this keeps up I don’t know if my heart can handle it. The characters are relatable, fun, and their vulnerability keeps you rooting for them no matter what. The romance is sexy af, but slower to scorch than a lot of previous Ramona Gray books. I think it worked really well in this case. It built up the tension until I was literally yelling at the two characters to remove their heads from certain orifices and to look in front of their faces. But seriously I highly recommend this book. It’s a lot of fun and will keep you reading until the end.

This is the second book of the Shadow Security series and it was just as great as the first! I loved Cooper and Daisy! I loved seeing Daisy work through her issues with shifters to be with Cooper. And Cooper was so patient and encouraging with her. The mystery aspect of the story was good too. Overall, this is a sweet and sexy shifter story that you don't want to miss! As always, I will be waiting anxiously for the next one by this author!

Another amazing book by Ramona.
Loved the storyline and characters, the byplay with the guys is great. Loved that Daisy continued fighting her fears regardless of how scared she was, also loving the friendship between Daisy & Eleanor. Cooper the perfect mate, was great how he actually talked to Daisy about how he felt about her fear (after a push) which enabled her to open up to him about her fears. Can't wait for Wes' book.

I'm loving this series! The interaction between the guys and gals is great and the chemistry between Daisy and Cooper is smokin'! Ramona (as usual) does a great job at creating likeable characters with a bit of humour, plenty of action and lots of sexual tension. Perfect when you just want to kick back, leave the real world behind and immerse yourself in a bit of fantasy.
I literally couldn't put the book down - finished it in one sitting and can't wait for the next one in the series....

I fell in love with the growly Cooper in the first chapter when his lion was depressed about not being close to Daisy. Nothing trained this protective alpha bodyguard to fight his mates fear of shifters and make her fall in love but his patience and perseverance melted my heart. But don’t discount Daisy, she has a powerful inner strength that guided her to face her trauma head on and open her heart to the possibilities when Coopers sanity is in jeopardy. I couldn’t put it down.

Like all her stories this one didn’t disappoint. I really enjoyed Daisy and Cooper’s story. There were the twists and the reveals that had you reading just “one more chapter” because you just have to know what happens lol. This story had me laughing one moment and crying the next. Story is written from both characters POV.

This series is so good! I absolutely loved Cooper and Daisy’s story!! I want my own lion shifter like Cooper, I loved how he was patient with her knowing she was scared of him. I felt for Daisy and what happened in her past, no little child should have to go through that, I hate bullies!!! Can’t wait for the next one!! I received this book as an ARC for an honest review!!

For Daisy working among shifters might be the only way to overcome her fear of them. Cooper can’t understand Daisy’s insane fear but he’s determined to help her overcome it most of all because his lion wants to keep her! Second book in this series, full of genuine feelings and deep emotions, lovers of paranormal romance won’t be able to put it down

Another winner by Ramona Gray! I started reading this on Friday night and couldn’t put it down - it was finished by Saturday morning.
Cooper and Daisy make a fantastic couple. I couldn’t wait for them to get a grip and get together. It’s a perfect hot romantic read with the added bonus of shifters!
Ramona Gray writes so well I always just fall into her stories and this will not disappoint.

this was JUST what i needed. a lion shifter romance where the heroine starts out afraid of him and slowly grows to trust him instead. lately ive been reading too many romances with too little actual romance in them, so this was amazing.
