Five years ago, the moon was destroyed in an asteroid strike, upending life on Earth as the planet became more and more uninhabitable. Two years ago, the viraxians arrived with a ship large enough to replace the lost moon. In exchange for saving Earth, they asked for one thing: human women.
Rayna is tired of struggling. She's tired of being hungry, scared, and alone. So she does what few women have been willing to do--she signs up for the viraxian breeding program. Assigned to three big viraxian males, Rayna expects nothing but a safe bed and regular meals in exchange for the use of her body. But when their arrangement of convenience evolves into something deeper, Rayna and her males must fight to protect their newfound happiness.
Publisher's Note:Shared by the Aliens is an extremely high heat romance with sex scenes involving one human woman and three alien males. It includes depictions of MF and MM sex within a group (MFMM) dynamic.
Ren Hardwick writes sexy reverse harem romances with heart. Her alpha heroes always have a sweet core and intense devotion when it comes to protecting and loving their heroines. A total romance junkie, Ren writes harems with mutual love and affection between all the participants, and so her stories always feature both MF and MM romance. (With plans for FF in the future!)
It was a quick read but I really enjoyed it. Wonderful writing, sexy aliens, strong FMC and just a great story. The plot itself is low angst but if you want spicy love scenes, this is the book for you. It is also for those who like MM as well as MF action.
I quite enjoyed this book although I started to get a little bored part way through. With it being so short there’s really not enough actual story to engage you fully but it does well within the space it has. There is a story of sorts and the smut is pretty good although it’s lacking the passion and heat you get from the build up in a full length novel. But I knew this was only a short story going in to it so I suppose that was to be expected. If you’re looking for a short, steamy book without much else then this is probably a good choice for you. It’s well written and there is a plot as well as the ‘other stuff’! If you prefer novels with a full plot and characters you can get on board with then don’t bother. I read this following a Facebook group recommendation but it turns out it’s not really my thing! I nearly gave it just 3 stars (or even 2) as I wasn’t that taken by it but I think that’s unfair. As I said above, it does well for what it is and so for that reason I’ve given it 4.
This story has more human elements than alien, sadly.
It is not the story I have issues with but the dialogue. I do wish sci go author's had more imagination, but they constantly revert to human sexual slang when aliens speak. Obviously these authors must believe it e chances their genre, but it certainly, most positively detracts from the (fictional authenticity) of the story, at least for me. When an alien first meets a human and is expected to populate with them, I am sure human slang for body parts and experiences is not the first thing discussed (or if it is it would be couched in alien terms). I wish the aliens were not so human! I'm every sci fi story I read, it ends with the aliens speaking and acting more like humans and this story is no exception. Come on authors, use your imagination. You all describe aliens beautifully, but create a human world around them.
The writing and editing of the ARC version of the manuscript was clean, with no typos and well constructed sentences. The world building was vivid, with the reader slowly learning about the alien culture along with the heroine. The characterization was quite well done, with the heroine especially being a sympathetic individual with both strengths and weaknesses. I had mixed feelings about the development of the romantic relationship. The depersonalization accompanying the early sex scenes were nauseating for me. Absolutely the opposite of aurousing. However, as the romantic relationship developed between the heroine and three heroes, I started to enjoy the love scenes. The heat level here was about five chili peppers. The plot and pacing were tight and exciting, meaning I read this novel in one sitting. There was a medium amount of well justified relationship angst and very high stakes, which tends to be one of my preferred narrative structures for a romance novel. This novel used the Breeder trope, the Reverse Harem trope, and the Partner in Trouble trope. The world building, plot, and pacing were all four stars. The characterization was four stars. The development of the romantic relationship gave me ambivalent feelings, so I gave it three stars. I therefore gave this novel a combined rating of four stars. The novel ended on a Happy Ever After ending instead of a cliffhanger, so that was a plus. I recommend this romance to readers who enjoy sci-fi romances where the alien romantic partners have a drastically different culture to humans. I think I will read the next book in this series when it releases. I do not think I will buy myself a keeper copy of this novel, though I did enjoy it.

HR Letter vs Sci-Fi Letter Fun Read For my own entertainment (because I never know what to choose from my TBR) I'll choose a book starting with the same letter from two genres: Historical Romance and Sci-Fi Romance, my two favorites.
This the Sci-Fi for the letter S 4 stars ★★★★☆
Finally! An alien 'BDSM is our norm' romance where the hero (in this case heroes) are open to human mating styles as well.
I've read a few D/d and/or bondage alien romance where the hero treats the heroine exactly as if one of their own species without a thought as to how it is with humans. Yes, in all of them the women are into it, but I can't imagine even someone who is hardcore into it would want all their encounters as intense.
This new-for-me author takes that into consideration and mixes up both the human and alien customs and I loved it.
The worldbuilding is a bit basic and the story ends with a few unanswered questions, but the main romance (the quad) was well developed and did end with a HEA.

Short and pretty sweet. She volunteers to a breeding program because she's tired of the hard life after the Earth's moon is destroyed. In the program, she assigned a triad of aliens to breed her. They all fall in love and live happily ever after.

I loved this story and I am definitely craving more. The plot was well thought out and the backstory was great. The characters were fantastic and their growth over the course of the story was noticeable. The female lead learned how to stand up for herself and gave the male leads numerous lessons about women from Earth. I enjoyed the whole story, it was well written and I was sucked into the whole story.
I give this five out of five stars. I loved the plot and the characters, the story being a reverse harem was a plus. I loved everything about this story. I am looking forward to reading more by this author.

This book started a little slow for me at the beginning I was not a fan of the arrangement between the aliens and humans. It has a lot of action and drama in the beginning. I started to care more for the characters as the book progressed. It is really about two different cultures trying to come together. The longer I read this book the more i came to care for all the characters. It was a really well written story and I am looking forward to reading more from this author. By the end of the book I wanted even more the book is a HEA with no cheating. It has a solid ending and is a stand alone I just wanted to read more .

I was actually surprisingly impressed with this book, not that my expectations were particularly low, but you kind of expect a certain level of depth in these alien smut stories. But this one was really good, felt well researched (... I mean, however you research this kinda thing 😉) and both our FMC and her triad of aliens were interesting and relatable.
***** possibly spoiler ahead *****
Also, the whole setup with the breeding room and the bench that she's completely restrained onto is soooooo hot 🔥🔥🔥 but I am glad she gets to teach them other ways to play with her.
Great and very steamy alien RH. I'll definitely have to read the next one about her bad@ss friend Ingrid too.
This is my first Alien/human romance. I will admit it took me a bit to wrap my head around the concept wanting to ask questions as I do throughout a movie only no one to ask.
Once I started getting into the story it hooked me in , the characters both human and Viraxian were well. Suited. The Earth women strong and in Rayna’s case implacable.
It does not show either race in a good light when it comes to those in power and in what if scenarios makes you think.
Will this become my favourite trope? I don’t think so. But I will definitely read more of this type of book and definitely more of Ren Hardwick’s writing. I can only imagine the work and imagination it took to develop the plot line and details. For that alone I give it 5 stars.
Short, smutty, & kinky; Human Rayna gives up on surviving in a crumbling society of earth and applies to be a breeder for the Viraxians--an alien race whose population is dying and needs women to repopulate. They also come in threes.
Ninety percent of the book was sex, which I had no problem with since I was fully aware this was a short and smutty book. It definitely served spice. My only wish was more depth on the Viraxian males. They just come, fuck and go most of the time. But again, it was still hot. They treated the MC like a fleshlight, to be honest, but I was glad that got cleared out in the end.
Side note, I'd recommend reading Claimed by the (Aliens Viraxian Mates # 0.5) first.
World saved by aliens? Check. Females for breeding? Yep. Multiple mates? Triad present and accounted for. Heat? Smokin' hot.
While the storyline is a tried-and-true cliche, the means of Earth's devastation was a new twist. Of course the alien race needing Earth females to procreate with is not new. Poly units come in all sizes *grin*, but the personalities drive the dynamics.
The story was too short to really develop the relationship in the beginning. While the heat/kink level was scorching from the get go, I found it a bit off-putting. I understand that was actually part of the plot, and I felt it was a well-planned issue to develop. However, the connection between reader and characters took too long to develop for me. By the time it started coming together, the story was over.
A well-written novella, but limited word counts inhibit character/reader connection and I try to stick to novel-length stories. Having said that, I've already downloaded the second in the series with fingers crossed and high hopes.
I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Rayna is hoping that by signing up for the Viraxian breeding program, she will escape her hardships on earth. She is assigned to 3 large aliens that will want more than just a breeder. Love is not supposed to factor in to the plan. The characters had enough sparks flying between them to set the place on fire. There is some drama, angst, lust and love. I enjoyed the characters, storyline and the new world she found herself in. Look forward to reading more

It’s deliciously dirty and sweetly romantic. However, this story is also a tale of survival, love blossoming in surprising circumstances, and how fighting for what you need, what you believe in, is always the good fight. There’s plenty of spice in this story, but it’s not excessively or superfluous, and at its core, this is a story about finding love and a new beginning. I loved it, and I’ll be looking for more stories by Ren Hardwick going forward.
I was quite surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. It’s a short novella but I feel like the author did a good job of setting the story up quickly and getting into the main story line.
Tropes include: ✅ Aliens need human female for breeding ✅ Voluntary involvement by FMC ✅ RH (3 MMC’s) ✅ Pregnancy and birth ✅ Sweet/protective MMC’s
My only “complaint” is that because this is so short, there are a lot of open/unanswered questions and I wish the closure had been more fleshed out. It’s wel written though and I liked all the characters!
I picked this book up, not sure what to think, but I’m so glad I did. The spice was great but the plot overall was beautiful. The only thing I didn’t think meshed well was how she made a decision and suddenly she was on the ship. There was no in between. Overall though, I loved it. I definitely can’t choose a favorite character but I think my favorite scenes were the guys showing her their favorite parts of the green space and when she went head to head with the elders. I’m excited to read book 2.
This is a unique and interesting Reverse Harem, Alien Romance with good characters. This story has great character interactions with multiple relationship dynamics in this group. I enjoyed this book that has drama, love, intensity, lust, passion and good world building. These characters have a good chemistry and their characters and relationship grows throughout the story.

I loved the FMC. Strong woman without being overly sassy or bitchy. I liked the plot and writing style alot. I prefer dual/multiple points of view and this book didn't have that but I enjoyed it nonetheless! It's definitely high steam which I really enjoyed but do read the trigger warnings. Spoiler-ish alert
The only thing I'd like more would be if there was a short chapter discussing life while being pregnant. Just to add depth to their relationship!
I liked this one. Interesting back story, definitely not something I've ever read before. Very spicy. I liked that the climax of the story was more of a mental battle than a physical battle.
I just have one question: what happened to Ingrid? I can't believe Rayna would leave her in the middle of a tense situation and not think about her ever again.
There are more sex scenes that there are dialog scenes. Interesting concept. Did have some character development but a lot of it goes unexplained. "Falling in love" didn't really happen. Somehow, we had sex turns into I love you. While dominance is displayed by characters, it isn't overpowering or cruel. Overall, it was an okay short read.
This is 1000% what I wanted. There were a few things that went unanswered but overall this book was just awesome. If you love the breeding andddd a restraint kink, you should've read this book YESTERDAY! I know I should have! Lots of group activities always and some MM but I was here for it! So good. So so good. I devoured this in one night
Just finished "Shared by the Aliens". This was a book club pick.. I am sure you are wondering what kind of book club huh? Well its the best kind. (winky face). This was an entertaining fast read. I wish i had a bit more explanation for some of the world building but hey, if you are looking for a fast fun alien romance with steam, this hits the spot.
It's OK. It's not the best yet It's not the worst either, just a quick read. It could of been better If the book had been written in mpov, it would of added depth to the story and painted a better picture for me to enjoy myself by immersing myself in to the story from all angles and experience the emotions along with other characters.
I read these books with the alien genre for the smut scenes but the whole book was a big smut scene were in between maybe 2 things happening. It is obvious that the writer wrote the smut scenes and to make it a book added the 2 seconds long story of basically nothing happening. I finished it so there are worst books out there but there is no adventure, nothing much really.
A great book. This is the first book that I have read from this author and I enjoyed it. The story was interesting, the characters fit well together and have amazing chemistry. I will be on the lookout for more to read.
A well written story of one lucky woman Rayna and the men who come into her life Laurec, Arrif and Kadeon’s story. This is a new Author to me and I want to read more by her. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This story was ok. I would like to read about their lives after the baby is born, see how they integrate once they are living on Earth, see what traits / skills the babies develop, etc.
