I fought to finish this. It was cheesy, cringeworthy and a lot immature. What is it with the nerdy girl turning into an clingy, horny, ditzy teenager. The narration had me both gnashing my teeth and laughing out loud at the absurdity of some of the dialogue.

What a great start for this new series! I loved Galyna and Max!
Max and Gal went to school together. As the nerdy girl, Gal had a crush on Max but never dreamed he had his eyes on her as well. Returning back home for a job in the local library, their re-meet was sizzling but cut way too short. After wolves try to attack her and her roommates, she finds herself once more in the company of the man of her dreams.
There is trouble among the wolf packs and Max is expected to step up and take the leadership role in protecting not only his pack but the humans in Rogue. While trying to stay vigilant in that position, he finds himself fantasizing about Gal…a lot. Unfortunately, they can never have anything more than a sexual relationship as his kind have been expressly forbidden to mate with humans.
This was a fun, sexy read with plenty of wolf shifters and lots of sizzle. I enjoyed that this story put a different twist on the shifter/human relationship. Max was a wonderful alpha hero with all the things I love – jealousy, possessiveness, and protection.
”Pack and wolfkind aside, he was going to rip any other man or beast to shreds that threatened Galyna. He’d make sure everyone knew she was under his protection.”
Gal was just as great a heroine. She had a few body image issues but realized that with the right man they don’t stand a chance.
”Being with Max though, she didn’t mind sharing her vulnerabilities with him.”
I loved that this little librarian was fun and flirty and fierce! Together they were perfect. The scenes between them ranged from laugh worthy to steamy…sometimes the two at the same time.
This is a fast paced read that never bogged down. There are plenty of secondary characters that I’m sure will be getting their own stories and I can’t wait to see where this series is going to take us.

This book was bad. So bad it was laughable, which is the only reason I was able to finish it. I AUDIBLY laughed so hard, people probably thought I was listening to a comedy. There were real lines like “She felt his hotness radiate heat from his body,” and also one werewolf was repeatedly described as “poop brown.” Not even kidding. Also the audiobook had two narrators—a man and a woman alternating chapters—and the man did the worst Russian accent ever, while the woman tried to do a husky man voice that made it even more humorous. And, of course, it had some bad sexist BS—Galina is a curvy lady that MULTIPLE people refer to as “a fat bitch,” and of COURSE she doesn’t realize her true beauty until she’s been TRULY seen by model-level-sexy Max…ugh. This book is cringy. So so cringy.

A librarian and her Wolf shifter finally find love..
This was an interesting shifter story as there were many elements of the lore and rituals that were new to me. I loved that all of the characters were "minorities"; it was nice to see diversity in shifter romance. I'll definitely be continuing this series as I need to see Kosta and Niko get their HEA as well ♡

Honestly this book was my first shifters romance and I honestly didn't hate it, the author did a great job of incorporating an amazing amount of humor and love with each character and it truly shows. I'm genuinely excited to see what comes in the next book!

Giving 3 stars because I did get into the story overall. I liked both Max and Galyna even though I found both characters to be underdeveloped. The story itself was underdeveloped and needs a professional editor—someone not only to catch grammatical errors, but to catch continuity errors. For example, Gal lives with her parents then suddenly her friends. When did this happen? Or mistakes like Gal learning of what happened to Niko then acting like it’s new info in the next chapter. Or talking via the mind in the middle of a paragraph with no text difference (like italics).
There were def little distracting things also like using to instead of too. Or using an apostrophe to make a word plural causing me to reread the sentence multiple times for it to make sense. Or repeating the same phrases too much. Things like that.
I do mostly like the story and think the author is setting up a fun arch for future stories. But idk if I want to keep going as I do find all these little things add up and cause for a distracting reading experience.

I really like the storyline in this and I’m interested to see where it goes. I kind of likes the secondary story more than the romance/relationship between the main characters.

Max and Galyna’s story was hot! I loved reading about the history behind The Troika Wolf Pack and how it is beginning to fit into our Dragon stories!! Before they were just a mention in the story and now they are
front and center and freakin- dare I say - hotter than our Dragons!! Not ready to go there yet, but pretty darn close!!!

This book has werewolves, humans, Russian mafia, curvy FMCs, and dragons. Things I never thought would all be in a book. I wanted to like this book but the FMC was making me cringe from beginning to end.

Max becomes the new Alpha of his pack after his brother is mysteriously murdered, causing a rise in turmoil among the wolf packs. This sudden change of events means that he also can't just choose his mate, whom he hoped would be a certain curvy librarian.
What I loved💙
I liked the characters. And the plot was really fun, just not a fan of the execution. Kosta and Nico are my two most anticipated stories. I loved Nico in this book and Kosta makes me really curious even though he wasn't in here as often for obvious reasons.
What I didn't love❌
I've had the shittiest luck this year with audiobook narrators. They lack the flavor that my faves, Bahni Turpin and Natalie Naudus, typically give. I feel like it was decent in the beginning and then as the story continued and we got to the spicy scenes, the narration devolved and I wasn't having fun anymore. Aside from narration, this was arguably not very well written and it seemed VERY rushed and/or all over the place at times. Basically, I just stopped having fun and I'm so over it. My first shifters romance! And I didn't really enjoy it...

Being a curvy girl, I first thought I would want to be paired with one of Aidy's dragons, but after reading Max and Gal's story, I am now leaning towards a wolf. A big, playful, sexy wolf who worships a nerdy, curvy girl. The story starts with Gal and most of the town of Rogue, not knowing that there are wolf shifters living among them. Gal has moved back to become the children's librarian and reconnects with Max, the hot guy from school that she has always crushed on. It is funny at first, because Gal and her friends become convinced that Max and his family are part of the mafia and Gal is worried that she might have to join Witness Protection if she stays involved with Max. However, her reaction to finding out that Max is actually a wolf shifter takes Max completely by surprise. I loved reading about both Max and Gal becoming the awesome people that they are meant to be and I cannot wait to read more books in the series to watch them continue their journey. I thought this book was a page turner and well worth my time to read.

ONE FLAMING DELIGHT!!!
Man, somebody call 9-1-1 please. I don't think my reader is going to make. Me either, I'm going up in smoke. Whew! One smouldering, steamy and white-hot off the charts blazing. Aidy brought out the flaming brilliance with this high octane sizzle that catapults this bad boy up a few levels. This bad boy brings all the heat, steam and a raging inferno with off the charts chemistry that will leave you breathless and craving more. One roaring storyline and gripping plot spin all those emotions bursting to life spectacularly. Twists and turns abound with all the trials and tribulations these guys go through that seem endless. The characters are authentic, personable and realistic with such depth and individuality its easy to relate. The scenes are written with such realism you have no problem picturing each scenario as they play off one another perfectly. Amazing job Aidy, thanks for sharing this little gem with us.

Finally getting his girl
Ohhh, I love this book! It is so awesome that we finally get the back stories on the wolves who have helped the dragons in previous books. The author has outdone herself with the way these wolves have opened themselves to the truth of their connection with the human in their life. We would all wish for a HEA like this one and a mate who glows for us. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series!

DNF 34%. Poorly written, the story jumps around, fast forwards through important story points, if it includes them at all. Too many idioms, the characters were immature and shallow. Top it off with one of my pet peeves- the author mentioned themselves with a 'You have to read Aidy Award!' No thanks.

To get things started: I was a Wattpad girly. Literally all I did was read read read. I was obsessed with two things: 1D fan fiction (anyone remember After before it was published and turned into a movie???) and werewolves. Once I stopped using Wattpad, I stopped reading these two genres for literally no reason. I have no idea why I stopped. This is the first Werewolf book I’ve picked up in about 8 years.
Was this the best book I’ve ever read? No. But dang did it scratch the itch. I’m now obsessively looking up more Werewolf books to keep the momentum. I’m definitely planning to continue the series.

This is described as a “curvy girl and wolf shifter romance.” Aidy Award does a great job of incorporating the curvy girl aspect without that being *all* it’s about. Galyna is a chubby librarian and she’s proud of it. She has her insecurities like anyone else, but you see Max come in and really help give her confidence.
"Max's complete and utter lust for her had given her a boost to her confidence she hadn't even realized she needed. It was so easy to be confident with him."
I also loved the vocab usage. It wasn’t overdone to the point you know the author just clicked through everything and added fancy synonyms. It was purposeful and I love not than anything to feel like I’m learning. This was such a pleasant surprise for me because I did not expect to find that in this book. Some examples: taarof, machination, circumvent, deference, subservience, tempest, fealty, and reticence. They were also correctly used which is a major plus.
There were only two things that I wasn’t a fan of.
1. Everything came back to her graduates degree. This girl has absolutely no street smarts, but since she has a masters degree, *of course* she knows everything.
Gal was smart, dammit. She had an advanced degree. She could figure out how to move her feet.
This was really just a character flaw that really annoyed me. I caught myself rolling my eyes every time.
2. I thought it could’ve been longer or maybe just more developed in certain areas. It was really rushed in a lot of ways. I totally understand this type content is fast moving (werewolves usually mate super fast) but the relationship development wasn’t all there for me.
I’m excited to find it more about these two characters. They were only briefly introduced but were totally BA:
"A big man who looked a lot like an extra hot Jason Momoa with a prosthetic arm, and a super beautiful woman dressed all in white floated down the steps."

Love, Love, Love this first book in the new series Aloha Wolves Want Curves!!!
Aidy Award has created another amazing shifter world that sucks you right in from the moment you read the first page. And just when you think the story is going to go like other shifter stories it blazes its own path.
I couldn’t and didn’t put it down once I started. Filled with action, romance, hot and steamy sex scenes, and the incredible world that Aidy Award has created to completely lose yourself in. Bold, think for themselves, curvy female characters that give us real life curvy girls a reason to stand up and howl at the moon all throughout this book!
This is a must read and I for one can’t wait for the next one to come out!!

I really enjoy stories with curvy girls and hot alpha males. This is a great start to a new paranormal series which starts out in Rogue where wolf shifters are living amongst humans. This story follows Max, the second son of the pack’s alpha, and Galyna, a human female. Gal returns to Rogue to work at the library after attaining her masters degree even though her family thinks that she wasted her time and should just get married and have babies. She flirts with Max, who she had a crush on in high school, and soon their lives become intertwined.
Max was fairly carefree until he is told that this older brother was killed; this makes Max the new future Alpha. A whole chain of events is started with the death of the Tsar of the wolf shifters (supposedly at the hands of Max’s older brother, Niko). This story touches on the beginning of pack wars but does not go into details; I suspect you will need to read future books to get more of the story.
If you want humour, romance and fighting, then read this; it has it all. I recommend this story to anyone who is interested in paranormal romance.

Troika Wolfpack hear me howl.....
This is a wonderful first Wolf Shifter tale for Aidy Award. This amazing story just proves shifters are definitely Aidy Award's jam. Max Troika has his mind blown to EPIC high voltage levels. First he unexpectedly becomes the Alpha of his pack. Second, he meets the mate of his dreams, but according to wolf law she cannot be his. Gal is off limits as she is a human. Humans and wolves cannot mix. That sucks big time to Gal as she is drawn to Max immediately. Their sexual chemistry is all absorbing and spellbinding.
Their story is full of steam and exhilarating action, but also saucy and funny, especially their back and forth conversations with each other. I am pumped and can't wait to read more about the Troika wolves.

O.M.G. Hot Hot Hot I just finish reading this book and I love it. wow don't know what to say or how to start this review since I don't want to give anything away. I am going to keep this short and sweet, I love the characters and the chemistry that they have with each other, and the title its just perfect cause let me say it was dirty and hot.
I love Galyn ( A.K.A) Gal she is the librarian and human she is smart, funny, and sassy. oh I love her attitude and love it how she gets when shes around Max. She is not afraid to speak whats on her mind.
I love Max oh his attitude and his dirty talk cant get enough of him. Love how protected he gets of Gal and how he always find a way to be with Gal.
Wish I could say more but cant dont want to ruin it for no one else but I do have to say this is one book you need to read, and to think that this is the first one of the series cant wait for the next one.

Max is the carefree 2nd son of the pack alpha. He never had any plans to be the pack alpha until his older brother was killed. Galyna is the local children's librarian and can't imagine she would even be on the radar of the sexy Max Troika. Despite the pressure from his family and pack Max is determined to show Gal just how gorgeous he thinks she is even if it is just for the night. Will Max's secrets destroy any chance that he and Gal have at falling in love?
OMG I absolutely loved Dirty Wolf! This just might be my favorite Aidy Award book so far. Loved that Dirty Wolf not only has sweet but hot romance it also has a little suspense and some pack surprises thrown in. The characters are funny and will keep you entertained. This is an easy read with a great story. Can't wait for book 2.

Who knew wolves could be so dirty? Max is definitely all male and then some. And Galyna has been noticing him since high school but she didn’t think he would ever notice her. Now she is back from college and they soon run into each other and things change fast. For Max is family is everything and now a war is about to start. How can he keep his secret safe and her too. Expect lots of action and fighting. But when things heat up anything is possible with these wolves.
