A wonderful collection of poetry! I am so grateful to own this book. My favourite poem is "It's past midnight...", I love the rhyming lines and the descriptions of nature: "a moth tries to fly to the moon, / and an orb-weaver's cobweb is spun." The illustrations are a superb addition to the strong and graceful lines in each of the poems. Every line is infused with warmth, hardship, determination and humbleness. The book is a marvellous contribution to literature. If the author is inspired to write another book I would gladly add it to my book collection. I definitely recommend this book to others.

It is debut collection of Beautiful soulful poems by Jamal e Fatima along with Beautiful sketches by Hira Noor. The poems are based on poet’s journey of pain, loss, healing , finding identity and joy . The title is so poetic , I loved it and so is the 2nd poem in Book , one of my favorites that I have attached.
Once I started reading the book , I could only stop at the last line of last poem, devouring and feeling each poem. There are like 90- 100 poems in the book .

Review Highlights:
⁕ The illustrations by Hira Noor are some of the most detailed I’ve seen in a collection! They complement the text so well and add to the overall reading experience.
⁕ Some of the poems are very specific to Fatima’s lived experiences, while others are more generalized references to humanity as a whole. ALL of the pieces are beautiful and impactful in their own ways, but their variety in length and subject added depth to the collection as a whole.
⁕ Fatima’s writing style is incredibly rhythmic and lyrical. I actually kept going back to read certain pieces out loud because they just SOUND so good.
⁕ As someone who enjoys strong narratives in any text I pick up, I love that the collection is divided into four broader sections that create a sense of direction and conclusion.
