Dejardin was chief executive of the McMichael Canadian Art Collection, and before that he was director of the Dulwich Picture Gallery in Dulwich, England. Before that, he was a knitwear designer.

A strikingly gorgeous coffee table book about Thomson and the Group of Seven artists. Printed on high quality paper, the many paintings are beautifully reproduced alongside a history of the artists and short essays about some of the individual paintings from various commentators. Definitely a five star book.
