I already knew how to weave potholders on a loom. (Am I really the only adult who still loves to weave potholders on the little loom and give them away as presents?) This book is cool because it gives instructions for different weaving patterns like stripes, pinwheel, puzzle pieces, hound's tooth, confetti, and rainbow squares. It also shows how to make purses, game boards (tic tac toe, and checkers), bean bags, and a loopy chicken. Fun!

The instructions are clear and easily understandable, even for kids.

This is the best weaving book for kids I've seen yet. The illustrations are specific and helpful. Both my son and daughter enjoyed making weaving projects together. It's easy to understand and explains the basics of weaving including vocabulary, technique, finishing, and pitfalls to avoid and how to fix them.
