The love of bringing to light the world that resides inside our heads.
It does not matter if we have a happy ending or a soulful gasp. What matters is that we put these thoughts on paper. So keep writing my friends. Keep taking us to the secret corners of your mind. Be brave. Tempt fate and above all enjoy.

Just love it
Alexie has done it again. Taken me right into Angelo’s life, made me see the boy, how he grew to a man, and where he is now. Such a great story.

Outstanding
Alexis Aaron has done it again . She never ceases to amaze me with her books. I have loved every one of them and feel like I know each of the people in the stories.

Loved love loved it. Having read all the haunted series I love Angelo and was glad to have his story. I saw Alexie's Facebook Thursday night that it would be released Friday. I checked it was there. I was so happy I jumped up and down which is hard for me because I am in a wheelchair. I read it in one evening. I read it first very quickly because I can't wait to see what happens. Then I read it again slowly and enjoy every page. I thank God your so prolific because I love your books.

Angelo, wow! What a life this birdman has led.
I can’t wait for Alexie Aaron’s next book, I wonder who the next stand alone will be for. I forced myself to stop reading more than once to prolong the book. I find myself doing this with all of her books now. I buy them as soon as they are released.
Warning, you will fall for Angelo if you haven’t already.
After reading this, I feel that he is misunderstood in the peeps series.

OMG I LOVED IT ❤ 😍 ♥
Excellent!!!!!! I could not put the book down. I loved Angelo in the Haunted series but this standalone helped to understand his upbringing and how he and other characters got to know one another. Thank you for another fabulous book.

Fantastic Back Story!
If you ever wanted to know more about Angelo, and how his history has been constantly entangled with Mia's, this is the book for you! We are also given insights into some of our favorite characters' pasts, and how it impacts their presents. There are several members of Angelo's family that I truly enjoyed learning about, and I would love if they were featured in upcoming Haunted Series books. This is a great read, do yourself a favor and dive in.

Fantastic
I gave this book 5 stars because it is just that excellent. Having been intrigued by Angelo in the Peeps books, this was a welcome addition to the series. Who is Angelo? What's he all about? This book answers all. This is also a great stand alone book. If I hadn't read any of the Peeps books, I would definitely read them now. Great book Alexis!

Angelo's truth
I love the fact that Alexis Aaron's characters grow in depth and complexity. They aren't just two-dimensional figures that exist to move the "Haunted" stories along. Angelo has been there from the beginning and has grown until his story needed to be its own book, not a few paragraphs lost in another story.

Angelo's backstory
Angelo is a well rounded character from the haunted series. This book covers the intersting points in his life to the present day and provides many more details that help explain his actions in the haunted series.
A must read for fans of the haunted series. a good book even as a stand alone novel.

Another Awesome Read
I have read every one of the Haunted Series books. The author remains my favorite. The way she has spun this fictional tale is amazing! I love her characters and her attention to detail. I hope she will write many more books in the Haunted Series!! I await her next...

Great background story
Was a great story! Explained a lot I had questioned about why he was like he was in the other books. I can't wait for the next book to be written! This authors books are hard to put down once you start reading them!
