Dive right into the book "Senior Year is Twisted". You won't regret it and it will grab your attention right away! Here are some reasons why you should check it out:
1. Surprising plot twists: Two people who can't really be together grow a relationship with each other which has some major plot twists and turns their life upside down.
2. Interesting characters: You get introduced to new characters that have a weird way of knowing each other. From Tyler meeting his enemy's sister Bethany who is also attracted to him takes a big plot twist.
3. The backstory of people: The backstory of some characters are very interesting and I personally feel like us teenagers can find similarities between this.

Laurie Halse Anderson, Senior Year is Twisted is a romance novel about a poor high school boy named Tyler and his rich crush Bethany.
I liked how many unique twists of the story that happened throughout this book. One was after we got to know the characters and find out who Bethany really is and it changed my whole perspective of the story. It follows the classic trope of a rich girl and a poor boy who want to be together but can because of their different standings. I felt like there could have been more dynamic to the story. It felt very rushed to the end. It follows Tyler's life in high school, but it feels more like a dream and unrealistic.

Senior Year is Twisted is a great book so far, it's very relatable for high schoolers and the younger generation. It goes into detail about the life of a troublemaker senior, Tyler, and his family, the Millers. It mainly takes place in high school and at the Miller home, as well as other events related to school. Typically just a standard-of-life type of book, it has funny parts, but also, is sort of twisted. Getting to see Tyler's thoughts is an interesting addition. The book focuses on regular-day things, his crush, his sister, his assignments, etc. I definitely recommend it.
