RECKLESS is the second book in The Privileged series and continues the story of Layla Adams and Treyton St. James. This installment in the story picks up where the previous book, TROUBLE, left with Layla just having quit her job after having lunch with Treyton's mother and being told, in an off-handed and not mean spirited way, what Treyton had said about her. Layla's immediate issue is work so she arranges to work more at the shelter, MyPlace. Treyton in the meantime has an interesting conversation with his very upset father and is made to sign a new agreement in order to continue with his community service requirements and receive his weekly payment from his trust fund. Layla thought she would be able to avoid Treyton but no cush luck as her services have specifically been asked for regarding the big fundraising gala. So she splits the list of things that need to be done and gives Treyton his list to do, away from her. He desperately wants to apologize and explain to her why he said what he did to his mother. But Layla is not in a mood to hear him and cuts him off quickly. So a dejected Treyton heads out to buy what is on the list. When he gets to the store he receives a call from Samantha who is more than happy to pitch in and do the shopping for him, accomplishing everything. As Treyton is sitting there watching Samantha he decides that she is so good and understanding to him that she is what he chooses.. It seems Treyton has a girlfriend.....or does he really? The next morning he is hit full force with his decision to let Samantha do his tasks for the gala, as they are supposed to be his volunteer hours. Afterwards Treyton decides he really needs to straighten up and not mess up any more. At the same time Layla is having some fun herself with another volunteer that she has known for years. Layla is a woman in control and she is deciding she needs a bit of fun and he will be the one to provide it. There is still the matter of the gala which is in a couple of weeks. That turns into a very exciting and unexpected evening to say that least...........with Treyton arrested and Layla being the one pressing charges.
This book was fast-paced and had a lot of things going on. There is still a lot of chemistry between Layla and Treyton, even though they are both ignoring it. I liked this second book as it kept me engaged. There were a few moments when I rolled my eyes, like with the cliffhanger ending which seemed a bit extreme, but these did not detract from my liking the story. I will definitely be reading the next installment in this series.
💣💣ONE INCREDIBLY WILD RIDE💣💣 Scorching skiddles! Satisfaction is an understatement this hot little number comes packing a punch, highlighting the stilted struggles and arduous triumphs, unveiling the dramatic twists and shocking turns, noting the soaring ups and tormenting downs, putting our characters through their paces, fusing this gem together seamlessly. Anarchy and serendipity descend in a flurry of mishaps and mayhem, showcasing the blurred perimeters and broken barriers, limitations are expanded and amplified, propelling this jewel into the eye of the storm blowing it into a tailspin with astonishing impacts, launching this jewel to a whole new level. The characters, banter, dialogue, interactions and charged atmosphere along with relatable qualities and individual traits, blend and flow adding depth and diversity, transforming into outstanding personalities. Remarkable job Ava, thanks for sharing this amazing thrill with us.
Treyton has turned into an alcoholic since the accident and he cannot get it together no matter how he doesn't really try. But his father has given him a babysitter who is not interested in the job she is lead to believe she is getting a promotion but it is not that at all she is supposed to be working with Treyton he proves to be less than helpful. They are assigned to plan and set up everything for the Masquerade Ball for his mother's charity but things just do not work out and it seems everything goes downhill for Treyton and Layla. Interesting storyline, as well as the characters, I was given an ARC without obligations from the author. I am providing an honest review.
Reckless is the second book of the Privileged series. In this installment Layla goes to work full time at Myplace but still has to work with Treyton on the gala. She gets the list and divides the list and gives half of the things to keep Treyton away from her. On gala night, Layla brings a date and Treyton says he is trouble and tries to warn her that he is only after one thing. Will drama and trauma heat up to make things go wrong at the gala?

This is the second book in The Privileged series, I do suggest reading the previous books first.
Layla has quit her job at the law firm as Treyton is too much, they don't like each other but the chemistry between them crackles in the air. Is Treyton going to own up to his mistakes and become a man considering at the moment he's just a privileged man-child. Can't wait to see what happens next.
So Layla is unemployed in this second book about her and Treyton. It continues from where TROUBLE ended. This is a short story, more of a novella. While written in the 3rd person point of view, which I am not the biggest fan of, I loved the dual point of view, because it still gave us the feelings from both characters. I loved this one just like the previous two.

I can’t believe Trenton and how he thinks. I mean what the heck and all his actions. Now Layla did a childish move by quitting her job because of him but I was shocked at the dads reaction. Just goes to show you can be attracted to someone but not like them.
I received this as an arc and this is my honest and voluntary review.
Wow! This short novel is complex with Layla at the center, and then there is Darren, Trenton and Ryan. So far it is intriguing - will this be a reverse harem? A triad or will there only be one? This story ended on quite the cliffhanger and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
I received a free advanced review copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my fair and honest opinion..
This is a brilliant read. Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start. Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable. Great drama and romance with wonderful world building. Can't wait to read what the author brings out next. Recommend reading.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
The Saga Continues - Treyton continues to spiral out of control, after Layla quits and tells him off, after she finds out what he thinks of her from his mother. The back and forth between these two continues, until the night of the gala where everything just falls apart again. The book was enjoyable.
I received a copy of this ARC and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is the continuation of the first book Trouble. Treyton and Layla don’t get along. Treyton is immature and doesn’t think that he needs a job and Layla doesn’t want to babysit him. So not much gets done. I voluntarily reviewed a. free advance reader copy of this book and gave my honest opinion.
We are pulled further into the lives of Treyton and Layla. I keep shaking my head at the way Treyton thinks. I cannot help but wonder whether he will ever grow up and take responsibility for his actions.

Well that escalated quickly... Treyton is kind of a d*** to be honest. I hope he redeems himself in the coming book(s). And I have a feeling Darren's going to feel very used...
Ava you did it to me again. This series is fan f-%&$%ing tastic. I can't wait until the next one Layla and Treyton are killing me. Please read and review your books.
