About the author

An author, musician, counseling psychologist, and animal rights activist, Dariel writes interracial/multicultural paranormal romance and dark urban fantasy featuring shifters, Nephilim, angels, and reluctant demons, all filled with action, alpha heroes, and strong heroines. As a child, she could always be found curled up with her dogs, cats, and a good book, even if the book was a dictionary or encyclopedia. Things have not changed much.

Dariel is a classically trained soprano, and plays more than 11 musical instruments. She also completed coursework and passed comprehensives for a Ph.D. in Instructional Design (ABD), tutors writing, algebra, and statistics, and readily admits to being a Netflix paranormal and action series binge-watcher.

I was a bit weary with this series. But I am glad I read it. This is the 3rd book in this series. It was a good story. It is recommended that you read the first 2 books to actually get the jist of what this world contains and how it operates. I liked the characters and the way that Miss Raye wrote these characters you get immersed within and it is going to be a ride that you will not want to get off of. I am surprised with the fact that Gideon being the straight shooter of the bunch fell for Iris. Iris was a character whom I really enjoyed. She has not had a easy go of it and the way she and Gideon met well that is just the proverbial icing on the cake! This was a really good book and I will be recommending all the books within this series!

Gideon is a seeker, an elite law enforcer that goes after his fallen brethren and returns them.
He doesn't understand how the can give up everything for a human woman and thinks he will never fall.
Iris was adopted and has never felt accepted by her family and only has her job after her fiance dumps her and married her adopted sister.
Iris finds a wounded Gideon that changes both of their opinions and gives them both something neither of them expected to find.
I would highly recommend this book and series.

Gideon has always toed the line, yes he does his own thing to a certain extent but knows his place in the grand scheme of things until Iris who is anything but what he thought a human women would be. I just loved the dynamic between Gideon and Iris as both have strong personalities, both know that they shouldn't be attracted to each other and both know that neither of their lives will be the same again. There is a great mix of laughs, shocks, trepidation, secrets, twists and an undeniable attraction that means Gideon and Iris will be together one way or another! 💘

Book three in the Orlosian Warriors series a well written story that kept me turning pages. Iris Johnson is a brilliant astrophysicist she meets Gideon an Orlosian Warrior, there is suspense, drama, danger, kidnapping, villains, and love. I loved this storyline, this authors story telling dragged me in and painted awesome scenes through out the the story, I now have to go and read the first 2 books before I start the next in this series.... I can’t t wait
