Exciting from Start to Finish!
I am addicted to this series! The action is intense & the romance sweet. There are plenty of humorous moments to lighten the mood. While Laura seems to attract trouble she, also can take care of herself. Cohort Sophie, no matter how much she complains, always has her back. This book was exciting from beginning to end - I hated to see it end. Looking forward to the gang’s next adventure!

This is a fun series. It’s a light mystery series with romance thrown in. I started with book one and just kept reading until I finished book six. I live in Scottsdale so I was very familiar with different locations in the books. It was fun to read about all of these places. The author had the weather and how the locals feel about living here so right. The author described places so perfectly I felt I was there. I enjoy this series and I hope it continues.

Fun as always
I’ve been reading this series since the beginning and I am never disappointed in the books. I like that Laura is finally with one guy, even if they are hiding it, and she’s not being talked down to or shamed for what she does. The mystery this time deals with legends and gold, which was great!

Simply the best
Suspense,humor and romance all in one book. This entire series is terrific. Characters are well developed. Story is multidimensional, but not too complicated. Couldn't put it down.

I love the Laura Black series. Can't wait for book 7. Laura is a great character: smart, physical and funny. Love the romance. Action packed. I have read all 6 books and I hope the series will continue.

As always keeps you on you toes.
Always the FULL details on wardrobe change; True accounts on how sore your body gets when out of shape after hiking! On to the to next in series. Would recommend series :)

Gullibility!
Everyone should have a friend as supportive and protective as Laura Black. Unfortunately, these traits are the reason, Laura is always asking herself - “How did I get in the middle of this?” The book is a thrilling, action packed read!

Always Fabulous!
This series once started is hard to break away. I love the Eclectic Arizona backdrop and fascinating characters who are well crafted.

I do love Max. Actually I love Tony too. Scottsdale Shuffle is very entertaining, and I highly recommend the whole series.

TOTALLY FUN!!!
A total redo and she is ready to take the place, temporary, as head of a drug cartel. Once that's done you would expect things to slow down, but no.

Great read
Love the Laura Black series. In this one Laura helps find gold, helps a Mexican cartel princess and catches a cheating spouse, with the help of her best friend and co-worker. This time she just exercises herself too much but doesn't get shot at or blown up. The book keeps just enough action to keep you reading and laugh out loud funny. Happy to see she is still with Max, even if he's temp mob boss. Can't wait for the next book!
