Shella -- The Devil’s Fury are the only family I’ve ever truly had. My mom was a junkie. When she died, no one wanted me. Except Grizzly. I had a home, until things went horribly wrong. I went wild, pushed too many boundaries, and overstayed my welcome. So I ran and didn’t look back. Trouble always seems to find me, so it’s no surprise I ended up pregnant, alone, and scared out of my mind. Then Slash shows up. Out of all the Devil’s Fury brothers to come for me, why did it have to be the one I’ve been crushing on since I was a teenager?
Slash -- Little Shella was always a pretty girl. Spoiled. Outspoken. A complete terror. Now that she’s all grown up, she’s stunning. I needed to keep my hands to myself, and maybe I would have if she hadn’t been adamant not to disclose the name of her baby-daddy. Only way to protect her is to give her my name. Doesn’t matter I’m old enough to be her father. When I find out her secrets, and the reason she’d behaved so badly, I know I’ll do whatever it takes to make her feel safe… even if it means burying a few men. I already have blood on my hands. What’s a little more?
WARNING: Slash’s book contains graphic violence and sex, bad language, and scenes that may be difficult for some readers.
Harley Wylde is the International Bestselling Author of the Dixie Reapers MC, Devil's Boneyard MC, and Hades Abyss MC series.
When Harley's writing, her motto is the hotter the better -- off the charts sex, commanding men, and the women who can't deny them. If you want men who talk dirty, are sexy as hell, and take what they want, then you've come to the right place. She doesn't shy away from the dangers and nastiness in the world, bringing those realities to the pages of her books, but always gives her characters a happily-ever-after and makes sure the bad guys get what they deserve.
The times Harley isn't writing, she's thinking up naughty things to do to her husband, drinking copious amounts of Starbucks, and reading. She loves to read and devours a book a day, sometimes more. She's also fond of TV shows and movies from the 1980's, as well as paranormal shows from the 1990's to today, even though she'd much rather be reading or writing.

Omgosh I had tears reading this book I loved Slash But I really loved Shella! What all is revealed wow my heart broke for her and Slash put both of us back together. This story was so well told and I don’t think it could have been anymore perfect. I don’t wanna give anything away, but this book is a definite must read!!!!
I’d been wondering about Shella, and although she didn’t acquit herself well in Dragon or Titan, I liked her in Irish and I knew there had to be more to her story. And there was. Shella started acting out after she was gang SA/R’d in high school, but nobody noticed except to call her a brat. Fast forward to Titan, where she is working as a cam girl at Hades Abyss MC until they find out, lose their ever-lovin’ shit, and fire her. When Slash (no relation to the guitarist) finds her, she is an Ecdysiast (which is a twelve-dollar word for stripper), alone, and pregnant. My bullshit detector did go off at this point because a) what modern male cornstar just forgets about using a condom, and b) is it out of the question that she would be on the pill, IUD, or diaphragm, seeing as how, IDK, she is a modern woman who had sex for a living and did not plan to get pregnant? This was the only thing that I didn’t like about the book. Moving on… Slash and Shella agree to make everyone believe that the baby is his and that they will be a couple and raise children together. Turns out, they have both been secretly into each other for ages: him after she became an adult; her since she had seen him when she was a teen. But the MC is resistant to the idea of Shella becoming an Ol’ Lady because they remember her bratty, destructive behavior. They quickly change their tune when Slash tells all the patched members, in official church, about the gang r. She doesn’t want to be an object of pity, but he’s being more realistic and knows that if he drops the info on the MC members they will fall over themselves to vote her in, for fear of looking like total assholes. Turns out, the main reason that Shella didn’t tell anyone about the r is because her sister was an absolute emotionally fragile mess and Shella was afraid dear sis would go over the edge. Shella had other resources to get a Plan B pill, luckily, and to be tested for STDs, but she knows that there are many girls and women who can’t or won’t go to an emergency room for a r kit for many, many reasons and she wants to provide off-the-books resources for these people. I think Shella is amazing. With this as the backdrop, Slash and Shella fall deeply in love. I respect both characters and think they are a good match. I enjoyed this story.
No cheating, but off-page SA/r and much related discussion. Also, violence that is very graphic, particularly torture. Sex scenes are open door, explicit. 5/5 stars.

Slash and Shella. Shella and Slash. If you've been reading the previous books in this series, these two would hardly register or scream: COUPLE!! That's the great thing about Harley Wylde books---expect the unexpected!
Shella is probably not a favorite to some of Harley's readers because let's face it---she's a brat. After the drama she created with Lilian and Dragon, you would expect there to be issues. And believe me, there are issues. However, no one wonders how the girl we met from Irish's book (read Devil's Boneyard book: Irish) could turn out to be such a troublemaker. Well, Harley finally tells her side of the story. Be prepared because it's not going to be pretty.
Slash is my favorite MC VP because he's unpredictable---and that's just his hair color. When we meet him again, Slash has changed in appearance. However, he's still loyal as ever. When he finds Shella and hears what happened to her, he's on a mission to "right the wrongs" that have been done to her. He's absolutely drool worthy, but you'll have to read the book to really appreciate it.
I loved this book and believe the pairing is perfect. The rest of the club might not agree until they hear the entire story. I loved the interaction between Slash/Shella a lot. However, I really appreciated seeing a different side to Grizzly and Badger. You always knew they were protective, but boy it was another level in this book. My only disappointment is with a few of the brothers that made matters worse. That was eventually resolved. I'm only left to say this last part: PATCH BEAU IN! Oh! And Colorado deserves a story. Okay, and I can't wait to read more about Ripper and Glory!
I’ve read all of the Devils Boneyard, Dixie Reapers, & Devils Fury to date. And much more of Harley Wylde’s work. I absolutely love it & I never want these to end. I haven’t reviewed any of them yet bc I just never really know what to say that will give the books the Justice they deserve.
Slash made me want to review it though. This one really grabbed on to my feels & pulled at my heartstrings. All of the previous stories were just as heart wrenching but this one just seemed to jump out at me. I think part of that is because I do NOT agree with how Shella handled/is handling her pregnancy/baby Daddy situation. Also, I’ve heard the name of her BD more than once throughout the series & I’m really hoping it’s not the Owen that is a brothers’ son. At any rate, he deserves to know he’s going to be a father, especially bc he wasn’t set up in a bad light.
These stories are meant to be short & fast paced, which I absolutely LOVE, but I wish there was more substance involved to them. I want to see more of the couples & their lives in the future. I want to know what the big bad bikers do/feel when their children are born, I want to know names & see things play out. Not just fast forward a couple weeks or months for the epilogue.
That is just my opinion, but one I REALLY hope Ms. Wylde takes into consideration. These books are absolutely AMAZING & have 99.9% of the things I need in a book. I can’t wait to continue to reading all of them!! :)
Just when I think that Harley Wylde has written the best book in her motorcycle series, she tops it. Slash and Shella have been two characters that I have wondered the most about. I knew that her being a creation of Ms Wylde's that there was more to her that met the eye. Slash has been an enigma as well but that doesn't last long. His attraction to her could cause him a very big problem but he doesn't even think twice about it. He wants her in his life and he isn't going to let anything stop him, not even Shella. Shella has had a crush on Slash for a very long time so when he tracks her down, she knows she shouldn't go with him. She just can't resist him, even if it means going back home when no one wants her there. I liked Shella right from page one, she is so alone but she hasn't broken down. She keeps on pushing forward. Slash hunted for her, relentless in his quest to get her and bring her home. I don't want to reveal too much, it really must be experienced. The connection between these two was awesome to witness and just made me even more hungry for the next MC book. Ten stars for Slash and Shella!
I must admit I didn't like Shella in Harley Wylde’s other books. She was very bratty, mean, and I wasn’t sure that she could be redeemed, but Harley Wylde did it.
I never stopped to ask the reason behind Shella’s behavior, and I’m not going to spoil it for you, so be sure to read the book to find out.
When Slash sees Shella working as a webcam girl, he decides to search her out. Slash does, after a while, and brings her home, back to where she belonged. I never would have pictured Shella with Slash, but they work wonderfully as a couple. I applaud the author for how she handled a tough subject, and showed that not everyone reacts the same way to trauma.
The chemistry between Slash and Shella was off the charts!! The book had quite a few twists and turns, along with a few I didn’t see coming, and enough suspense and action to keep you wanting more. As always with Harley Wylde’s books, the words flowed smoothly. I’m looking forward to the next book in this series.
I had been hoping bratty Shella would get her story and we'd find out what made her change. I got my wish. She's been gone two years and Slash, her dad's VP sees her in the last place he ever expected, as a webcam girl! He's now on a mission to find and bring her home. Only when he does, he finds out why she doesn't want to go back And then he makes her his old lady. She then confesses why she left and changed and he has a mission. To make those who hurt her pay, some with their lives! Back at the club, there are several who aren't glad to see her. But Slash isn't about to let her go. They needed to accept her or else. Even when a couple of brothers say things they shouldn't he makes sure that gets nipped in the bud too. It might of took him 45 years to find his old lady and she might be way younger, but he's in it for good. And going to be a father to boot. Loved this like I do all of Harley's books. Bring on the next one! This one was full of hot, steamy scenes.
Shella is going to get her butt blistered red for what she put Griz through. Slash isn’t about to leave her where she is, stripping and doing wedcam. Shella knows she screwed up in a big way. She was bratty and naïve but even more, she is pregnant. When Slash brings her back, things don’t go well. Not all the members of Devil’s Fury want her back in the fold. She isn’t leaving though. Slash is the VP and also her husband.
I feel for Shella. When we find out why she was acting the way she was, it will be a shocker. I was was so disappointed in the Devil’s Fury for not protecting her. Then there are a few other reasons that really made me mad. Slash always was there for her but her being Griz’s daughter made it tough. These two were meant to be. Even with the age difference, they were soul mates. And I was glad Slash did what he did to end her nightmare. And now we have Glory brought over by Tank. I look forward to finding out who will be her man.
First things first; I really like the cover of this book! Slash is the seventh book in the ‘’devil’s fury MC’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Shella is known as the wild child. When she ends up pregnant, will she return home? Slash wants Shella but with her being his ex president’s daughter, will he claim her? The chemistry between Slash and Shella is clear to see and I liked them together. My heart broke for Shella and all she went through. I was happy that she opened up to Slash. I liked that the majority of the MC had Shella’s back. I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.
Slash knows how to win his woman! And boy is he good at it…….
The latest Devil’s Fury addition is Slash and he is over the top intense alpha biker hotness! Shella is driven to leave the MC she calls home. She is hiding her past and running from her demons. Slash sees her in a compromising situation and realizes he has to go after her- to save her from getting into more trouble! Shella had gotten in over her head and is secretly thrilled that the bad boy VP that came to rescue her is the man she has secretly loved for so long! Now she as to face those demons…. will she have the strength? Slash is going to show her that she does with him by her side. Great story with hot love and lots of action that we love from Harley Wylde! Awesome read!
I have been waiting for Slash story and boy does it not disappoint! He was viewing a webcam when he saw Shella and went off. He went to get her and after hearing her story as to the real reason she left and for her behavior really had him ready to lay hands on the culprits. Being an honorable man, he claimed Shella as his own but when she came across some of the guys responsible for what happened to her, the club got involved and took matters into their hands. This story touches on themes that can be horrific to some and set off triggers. I commend Shella for her strength and even though she may have come off as being a brat, things could have been much worse.
Oh my goodness Slash and Shella is finally here! I LOVE a great age gap romance and Slash checks all the boxes. Shella has been halfway in love for years and I think Slash has always cared for her more than he'd admit. Their story is so freakin emotional and beautiful. The secrets that she carried with her when she left is revealed when Slash goes to her and needless to say him nor the rest of the guys were very happy. Of course they make everything better and Shella soon finds that her man will move Heaven and earth for her and will do absolutely anything for her to be safe and happy.
This book was everything I had wanted it to be. I feel like I’ve been waiting on her story forever. I loved how he became her everything in such a short amount of time. He sought vengeance for her. He did everything to make sure she got to go home. These two where perfect and so sweet with each other. I of course loved how dirty they got 🤤🤤😛😛. I can not wait to see what happens next with these bikers.
Reading Slash was hard for me, mainly for what Shella went through. She survived the best way she knows how even if it's not conventional, now as for Slash, he's a hero in my book. He's sweet and very romantic for a biker, love how he treats Shella, the club may have let her down in the past but I know she'll be okay with Slash on her side. Thank You author Harley Wylde for letting me see the true Shella, nicely done.
Harley Wylde didn't disappoint once again. I fell totally in love with Slash. And Shella sure as hell redeemed herself. I'm glad she had her revenge in the end, and she finally found happiness with Slash, and the club members accepted her back again. Although they were shitty brothers to her in the first place when she most needed someone in her corner. I was sad and angry for what happened to her both at school and how she was treated at the club. Now I'm curious about Ripper's story.
Another fantastic story by Harley Wylde. This book took us on a journey of of truths, deep hurts, insecurities, and growth. I adored Slash, his protective nature came out full force in this story. We finally get Shella’s side of things and get a better understanding of why she the way she is. I absolutely loved everything about this book. I honestly didn’t want it to end.
If you have read any of the Devil's Fury series you know about Shella. And how she became a brat and most of us didn't like the girl, well she had reason and this is a beautiful story that takes the brat and makes her a strong beautiful woman. I can't think of what else to say without spoiling this amazing story you will not be disappointed with this one.
I really wanted Shella since she was first introduced. The struggles that she went through it now made sense. No one knew what happened to Shella until she told Slash. Slash wow once he found Shella he knew what he wanted!! I loved the book. Shella and Slash together was phenomenal and I really enjoyed the story.
I always wanted a Slash book ever since we met him in Cowboy. Tank and Josie's half brother thanks to he ever roaming Abraxas. And the fact that we finally got poor Shells squared away! That was some personality change after how sweet she was in Irish. Nice sexy story. Wonder what's next?
Ive been waiting for shella's story I'm so glad slash went and found her and brought her back to Devil's Fury where she belonged and got to the bottom of her behavior back when she was being wild and a brat
As always, this author 's books grab my attention from the start and keeps it right to the end. This one is no exception. A lot of emotions involved in this one along with healing and acceptance. Looking forward to the next book in this series.
I enjoyed Shell’s redemption, it’s hard to imagine what a person goes through after an assault what kind of coping mechanism is in place. When Slash learned his reaction made my heart melt. I look forward to the next book.
Shella was the ungrateful brat that everyone overlooked not knowing she was in pain and didn't want to be a burden. I love this author and this series I can't wait until Ripper and Glory.
126 pages. Now THIS is a Harley Wylde book!!! I LOVED Slash! He was the perfect mix of badass biker and sweet hero. Also, the gore? The history? The trauma? All in perfect amounts. Everyone should read this book!
Slash was amazeing. and you learn a bit about Shella and why she was the way she was. she and Slash face her fears and fall head over heals for each other. another great book!
