I really like the dummies books because they are written in an easy-to-read, easy-to-understand format.

A lot of good solid information, from supplements to vitamins to minerals and more!

Towards the end of the book, is a yellow pages (literally) for "Complete Healing Programs for Common Diseases and Symptoms". Here, you will find diseases / disorders listed in alphabetical order -- everything from Acne to Anxiety (Panic Disorder) to Bladder Infection to Bruising to Colds to Constipation to Edema to Hypothyroidism to Osteoporosis, and many more! Under each heading is a description of the disease or disorder, a suggestion for medical treatment, supplements with scientific support, and other supplement recommendations. Last, there is a paragraph on lifestyle and dietary considerations.

At the very end of the book is an appendix of resources and an index.
