Life's a beach, at least until a king's crown goes missing.
Destiny's been trying to hunt down a thief for a couple of weeks, but up 'til now, it's been all small potatoes - sometimes literally. Since she's certain it's a local and suspects there's a method to the thievery, she's tried to keep it on the down-low in order to flush the petty criminal out. Once a mermaid king's crown goes missing, though, Destiny has no choice but to come clean about the other thefts.
With an army of mermaids ready to rise and the resort's reputation on the line, Destiny races to find the crown before somebody she loves ends up in a watery prison.

I have enjoyed every visit to the Enchanted Coast. Destiny has her hands full in this one with petty theft and then a major theft and murder. With Colin and Tempest at her side, she will soothe irate royals, find a petty thief, hire a manager for the tiki bar (Finally!)and solve a murder. As always an enjoyable read with friendships, romance, magic and a mystery to solve.

Beachside Burglary is Book 6 in the Enchanted Coast Mystery series by Tegan Maher.
I love this series set in a Magical Town with a Tiki Bar as the backdrop.
Destiny has her hands filled when Royalty is visiting, and when their prized jewels are stolen, she is on the case. A series of minor thefts lead up to the crown jewels being stolen. Is it related?
I love this series and I really like how the romance between Destiny and Colin is advancing along.
Highly recommend!

Always an entertaining paranormal cozy mystery series
As series is always entertaining and fun paranormal cozy mystery series. Fun and spectacular cast of characters and an entertaining storyline. This is one series in a magical world along with multiple other series in the same world written by one author. Each series is interconnected in one way or another by relationships of different characters or locations or events. Destiny is a witch who works at an enchanted resort along the Gulf of Mexico coast. She has been comanaging the tiki bar at the resort for a while while looking for a replacement manager so she’s not doing four jobs at once. She seems to always have a knack for finding trouble spots and also finding who is responsible for causing them. Along with her fox familiar few other main characters who work with her at the resort friends and family she can always track down and find the person responsible. This series tends to be a shorter series of books that you can read in a shorter amount of time when you only have a bit of time to read. They are very entertaining and can be read individually out of order if necessary but still have a flow to them that keep them in sync. Check out all of the other books by this author as occasionally they have crossover between a series and characters. You will always be entertained and never bored. Check them out.

Hail, hail the gangs all here, pull up a beach chair, pour a nice fruity cold one and get ready for a delicious ride on the beach coaster of delight … with a side of larceny! I LOVED this latest addition to the Enchanted Coast Magical Mystery Series! I love that all my favorite characters are back AND with “Beachside Burglary” we get a few absolutely delightful newbie’s (no spoilers) that I am so excited about getting to know better! It’s hard to pick a favorite among these perfectly voiced, snarky when appropriate, and always hilariously entertaining characters, but a certain foxy lady will always have my heart! The story, as always, is smooth, multi layered, engaging, entertaining and above all INTERESTING! My attention was completely focused and held throughout! The time flew by while listening and I loved every single second! The narration is perfectly timed, perfectly paced, and exquisitely animated, painting a mental picture of the scenes, characters and action as the story plays out, convincing bringing the author’s words and vision to vibrant life! Invite the gang over for a listening party for this one! The length is perfect and a good time will be had by all. Five fun filled stars!

Visiting the Enchanted Coast Resort is always a delight. This magical series just keeps improving. Destiny Maganti is possibly getting a break when one of the people she interviewed for the tiki bar manager position calls her. Cassandra was on the very short hire list but took another job. Now she's free again & interested. But that's not a priority due to the Merfolk King & Queen coming for a family getaway. All's well until their royal magical crowns are stolen. Is this an escalation of the bits & pieces that have gone missing lately? When a body shows up near the royal cottage, Des, her fox familiar Tempest & boyfriend Colin are on a deadline to find two crowns & the killer.

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this story, the over worked waitress certainly resonated with me and not finding enough time in the day to do all that beckons, many of us know all about that! I loved the paranormal based island paradise and the guests were entertaining to be sure. The murder mystery had me guessing wrongly and the surprises easily kept my interest. The narrator did a great job setting the scene and giving personalities to the characters. I am looking forward to listening to more of this series.

Continuing in the vein of the rest of this series, this, the sixth book, is as cozy as a book can be, set in a tropical resort filled with supernatural folk. Destiny’s found family is as charming as ever, and she is well able to handle deadly and/or larcenous mysteries that crop up. This time, crowns belonging to the monarchs of the Merfolk have been stolen. The crowns are more than fabulously bejeweled, though, they also lend extraordinary power to the king and queen. All ends well, of course, with plenty of charm along the way.

It is never what you think it is.
Another Enchanted Resort book that I couldn't put down. Thos one was really loaded with excitement but I guess that is to be expected when royalty is present. I love the cast of characters that work at the Resort and will always love how Destiny and her little fox make the stories so much fun.

Mystery, murder and management
I really enjoyed this book. I was recently introduced to this series and have binge read the lot. I absolutely love our trips to the enchanted coast. It was nice to have abit more focus on the main characters than on the guests.
A nice easy mystery to read whilst at the beach sipping on some cocktails.

A paranormal resort
All kinds of exciting things happening this one. The king and queen of the mermaids, mermen come to visit. There’s may be a new manager and destiny is jealous because she’s making changes so there’s just all kinds of things happening. Fast read but an enjoyable one.

Always a treat to visit the Enchanted Coast and follow Destiny on her next adventure! Perfect read for this time of year when the holidays are keeping life so busy - was a nice novella length break. Looking forward to more in the series.

Destiny Magari works at the Tiki bar of a magical resort which caters to supernaturals, the job suits her seeing as she's a water witch, but lately it's been a bit
difficult as she and a co.worker are also.managing the place and have been since the.old manager was murdered. Hopefully that situation may be about to change so Destiny will be able to.spend some leisure time with Clive her werewolf boyfriend. Destiny has begun to notice a steady stream of items ( including her favourite hoodie) have been going.missing over the last little while, now while there is always some pilfering at the resort this is beyond the norm, but before she can start investigating a high ranking guest has something important (change fates important) go missing from their cottage on the beach so finding the thief just became Destinys highest priority. I thoroughly enjoy these book but I just occasionally wish they were longer.

Another short cozy
This isn't a particularly complicated mystery, the emotions our MC is dealing with over hiring a new manager stood out the most. Otherwise it felt short and sweet.

Fun!

Destiny is a witch who works at a beachside resort getaway for paranormal. A robbery occurs so Destiny works fast to solve the mystery only to uncover a murder. This story is entertaining and fast paced. Meghan Kelly does a great job with the narration.

A nice read. The mystery part wasn't overblown or drawn out, and it was wrapped up in a relatively satisfactory and sensible way. Enjoyable.

I felt this story as a little "lighter" than most of Ms. Maher's books, even with a murder. Not enough time was spent with her friends or boyfriend! Things also.

Great quick read
This is a great quick little read. There's mystery and murder, with an unexpected outcome all mixed in. You can’t help but love these characters!!
