This is the story of Scott Alexander CFO of Softli. Scott had a younger brother Edison Alexander who was a war hero. Scott works for Mason Winters. Then there is GG aka Carlynn Rush aka Carlina Hargraves who is on the run from her ex husband who is a gambler but a very bad gambler. They met at this card game given by his friend Jarryd who held these games at his penthouse in Sydney, Australia. At the card game she was known as GG and was taking these men at the card game down one by one if they didn't take each other down first. He was re-energized by what she was doing and decided to get back in the game. He had been for awhile now losing himself and his money to the bottle over a woman who had feelings for at his office and she ended up having a boyfriend, which he found out the hard way. Now GG aka Carlynn but really Carlina Hargraves ex wife of Matthew Hargraves who was a very bad gambler who had caused them both a world of trouble by gambling and saying that his wife woud take care of it. This is the story of how the "Reckless" gambler known as Scott meets the "Reckless" gambler known as Carlynn Rush and how they decided after so many firsts that they wanted to give each other a try at a relationship. I enjoyed this story because the characters were entertaining and a little crazy. The story was full of angst and contained lies and betrayal but I am glad that I decided to read it and I think you woud enjoy reading this story too. I highly recommend it.

Exhilarating read set in the world of high-stake gambling , a total page turner with amazing writing and a plot that is riddled with suspense, blackmail, betrayals, secrets and lies. Scott meets GG at a card game and is intrigued by her, the two begin a cat and mouse game with lots of banter, verbal sparring and an intense connection. Unfortunately, someone close to GG is obsessed with her and just won't rest until she belongs to him and sets out to destroy any chance of a relationship she could have had with Scott.

The author did an amazing job highlighting and describing the emotions and feelings between Scott and GG (Carlynn) and their growing attraction to each other. The supporting characters and relationships between them were realistic and well done and elevate the suspense and the plot. I loved the book, excited to read the next book by this author.

6 Stars! This is a WOW Book!
At first, I wasn’t sure I would finish this book. Suddenly, the storyline grabbed me by the seat of my pants, and whoa, we were off!
Kenna Shaw Reed is an excellent storyteller. RECKLESS GAMBLE holds true to that fact. The storyline is spellbinding enough that it became a one-sitting read for me. I literally could not stop reading until the end of the book.
The characters are enticing, and the author does an extraordinary job of describing them in great detail. Even when I wasn’t sure if I could like one of the characters, I ended up loving them. They became a part of my life. I enjoyed them and the way they interweaved in the storyline immensely.

I love this series and while this can be read as a stand alone do yourself a favour and read them all as characters from previous books make guest appearances. i first started this series because it was set in my home town of Sydney but that is no longer the draw card now I read it because it is such a great series Set in the business world and in the high stake gambling world everything happens at a breakneck speed and keeps you engaged until the last page

Scott first meets Carlynn at a high stakes invitation only card game Both have been hurt by love and I super protective of them selves but the attraction between them can't be denied Will they end up together or will they self destruct You will have to read to see

Reckless Gamble is the fourth fantastic book in the City Sinners series. It is the story of GG and Scott and what a wild ride it is. Once again Kenna Shaw Hart has delivered a well written and woven story with strong characters that are multi-faceted and have depth to them. The story is well plotted and flowed as you become mesmerized by the edge of your seat intrigue and suspense. But there is also so much more to this story that will have you wondering just who is doing what and why..........as everyone is lying and hiding, some with more to lose than others.

This is book four in the City Sinners Series. This is Scotts story. Scott is javing a hard time dealing woth unrequited feelings for a woman, so booze it is.

GG, lets go with that name for now. GG is hiding in plain site. Her ex husband notorious gambler, which he always lost at, would always say he wife will take care of it. Well now that saying takes on a whole knew meaning.
GG entets games with one goal in mind, with the intention of never trusting another man, only Scott happens and things go sideways.
Warning: the story starts off dull and a non kicker, just give it a bit and you won't be disappointed.

Enter GG and the attraction is there that starts off but then the intrigue and interesting meets happen. Scott is definitely intrigued but his head says not to trust her but his heart says yes! A book that starts out leaving you wanting more. What is GG running from? Or is she running to Scott? It gets more interesting with every page you turn. This book will have you tighter than a rubber band. Filled with drama, more drama, lust, love, betrayal and fears. Scott has trust issues and those trust issues are causing him to doubt GG. Can you love someone and hate someone at the same time? Excellent!

Reckless Gamble was a good story, the plot was written well, it was packed with many emotions.
Scott and GG were strong characters, their journey was a bit bumpy along the way but it was nothing they couldn't handle. They were drawn to each other, their chemistry was sexy, they were good together.

Both burned by love and fearful to trust, Scott and Carlynn ride a rollercoaster of attraction and mistrust through a high paced business world and the elite gambling underworld of Australia. Passions and anger run high and you never know what will happen next.

I enjoyed this story, it is a plot that is a little unique with the gambling in the plot. GG was a great character with the exhusband, the gambling and the interaction with Scott. Scott was a solid character adding to the story and the plot. I thought it was an entertaining read.

The author crafted a story that had great intensity. The drama, intrigue, deceit, betrayal and suspense were palpable throughout the story. The characters were fascinating to read about because they were mesmerizing on the page. I couldn’t read this book fast enough. Great storytelling.

Another compelling read from the super talented Kenna...
This is the fourth book in this series although it reads as a standalone. I personally love reconnecting with characters from other stories which explained their connection to the company for which the main character in this novel is the CFO. He is intrigued & attracted to a female gambler he meets at "by invitation only" card games. The stakes are high & the evolving story is high heat level attraction, intrigue & suspense, treachery & danger. Can he trust her, his instincts say no but his heart says YES! I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.
