Mending a broken heart never been this sexy. After a messy break up with her ex-bf, h fell under H's charm under revenge pretense; well, not revenge per se since both had their own ulterior motives. And as the title implied, the story was intense: intensely smutty and sexy with borderline possessive growly alpha H. It was a sexy ride all the way from the beginning till the end. Not much complain about my side though :))

Garrett & Eleanor

Exactly what I was looking for. Garrett is that caveman who knows his woman is his from the first moment he sees her. And once he gets his chance, all bets are off. He’s a dirty talking, sweetheart of a man who loves his sweet, innocent and wild woman. So good!

poorly written

This book was poorly written. There were typos, grammatical errors, and run-on sentences on every page. The author used the wrong verb tense often. There were plot inconsistencies, sometimes within the same sentence. The book was 90% sex so there was no genuine emotion or connection to the characters. I had to really struggle to finish the book because I usually only like to review books if I finish them.

P.S. There are also many potential consent issues. The male love interest continuously talks about how he couldn’t stop even if she wanted him too, how he wants to take her in her sleep, etc. Their first time it is also unclear if she was sober enough since she had been drinking all night.

My Favorite One

"Too Intense" might be my favorite Jisa Dean story to date. I may have to purchase it so I can own it. Eleanor walks in on her boyfriend cheating on her with her best friend. Her friend Garrett happens to be there and consoles her. Garrett, though, has been pining for Eleanor, and he now has his chance with her. "Too Intense" is a short novella, but it's perfect. Garrett is intense. He's possessive. He wants Eleanor and wants to prove to her that she belongs to him. And it wouldn't be a Jisa Dean story if there wasn't some br33ding and lact/@t!0n schmink in it.

There to pick her up when her boyfriend cheats, Garrett is willing to be a ONS, but he soon decides that they are too intense for that and it needs to be forever.

3.75 stars. The taboo element in this book is pretty light - FMC has always been drawn to the MMC (her boyfriend's friend). FMC finds out that her boyfriend has been sleeping with her best friend, decides to use MMC as a rebound and he is all "ok, mine now!" A short easy read that I enjoyed.

Too … Yeah…

OMG! I loved this story. Perfect title, because it was! Loved everything about this story. It has a level of heat, I haven’t read in a long time, not for lack of trying, but it was more than that. Loved the double epilogues. Loved the full, complete story that they finish with! This most definitely will be on my re-read que!!!
