Starving and hiding from aliens, Jasmine eats the first thing she can find.
It’s not food.
When the striking alien invader finds her hiding spot, she is already lost in a new world of sensation. Taken onto an alien ship, Jasmine has to process her captivity while in an altered state of mind. Luckily, the alien who found her is more interested in getting her to a medic than anything else, even though her hands have minds of their own.
Was she captured or rescued?
Disclaimer: This novelette has a LOT of adult language, steamy knotty romance, boundary pushing, and a healthy dose of consent, communication, and respect. There is accidental hard substance use and the threat of dark times associated with it.
If you are offended by intoxication, alien physiology, or women screaming yes repeatedly, well maybe you should read this little story and get over that.
I'm just a lady with a foul mouth who really likes writing titillating stories about characters who go through experiences we don't have here on earth.
I like tea.
Yoga is life, meditation is therapy, and a birdfeeder right outside the window is the meaning to life, the universe, and everything.
In every sense, this story is about consequences. The consequences of events and revelations in the first two stories (this story stands alone, but is definitely a richer read on the heels of the previous two), and consequences of rash decisions and foolish choices.
Jasmine reacted, instantly and negatively at the end of the previous story to something she learned... then she heard a very in-love couple release tension and express some joy at being alive, and found a part of her wanting to have someone to lean on, someone to trust... and in walked Furyon.
A grunt soldier, he doesn't know the classified details, and he didn't get to be part of the front line. Instead, Furyon was in time to sweep up, collect stragglers, and discover a human high on a drug an genuinely not in her right mind.
This story may be the best I have ever read when it comes to a character standing by their beliefs, treating people right, refusing to take advantage of someone or let others be abused. This story features the kind of Hero we all want in our lives, because it is an everyday kind of heroism, that is rich, deep, and incredibly sexy.
This done in one Kindle unlimited quick read was great fun, with a fantastic sense of humor, some great conflicts, and a Hero who does what's right, whether or not it's what's easy.
I really am enjoying this series! This is the third book and I recommend reading them in order. Jasmine accidentally eats something that makes her way too happy...high, she's really, really high. Furyon, great name, helps her. I love how he treated her with respect. This is a mood lifter!
I am totally enjoying these novellas with their quick and snappy storylines and easy to love characters. As each novella builds this new world, I'm intrigued and addicted to the sexiness yes, but mostly the relatability of the characters in them.
I don't know how many books there are in this series, but leaving a review for each of them is gonna be a pain 😣. But, I'll do it anyway 😄. Thanks again Deiri, these are so much fun and I'm really enjoying reading them 🤓.
