Simba Capeman by Kavan Kislaya
Mentioning the fact that I am a huge fan of comics and graphic novels myself, I criticize them on all the levels possible as I have read many of them myself and find myself in a place where I can rate some of them according to content and graphics.
I recently came across this graphic novel "Simba Capeman" produced by YOUNGWHIZ and The WritePlace and written by Kavan Kislaya, a 9-year-old boy hailing from the city of Ranchi and currently living with his parents in Nairobi.
Talking about the book, I would say that the book is a wholesome story of a child's imagination of a superhero with a lion-like roar, a punch so hard that none of the villains can handle it and a personality which we all wanted. The story is a blend of different short instances where Simba Capeman fights different villains saving the Lair City. The graphics are apt and adds fun to all the stories and makes it interesting to read the book. The book is a short read of 50 pages with an added epilogue.
As every successful story ends with a twist, this one also ends with a cliffhanger which makes people wait for the sequel.
Kavan has put his work in the best of the hands and all the work has been published perfectly. And if you look closely the character of Simba is taken from Kavan. (Try to match the cover picture with the author picture.)

When the books are from authors of about 9 years of age, is there any need to think before picking the book? No, just grab it and read it.
Nothing is better than a story filled with a child's imagination and fun elements.

Superheroes Vs evils is what we have been reading about since our childhood and this book just carried me back to my childhood when I immensely loved this type of stories.
The story revolves around Simba Capeman who is the saviour of the imaginary world and is very powerful. The book contains ten chapters which are actually the different incidents where the superhero proves himself.

I have always been a huge fan of comics since childhood. The story telling along with visuals is a treat to any reader's eyes and I am no exception. What augments the interest by various miles when one comes to know that the book is penned by someone who is himself a kid. Yes! You heard it right. I was smitten by this book not only because it's my favourite genre but also as it is penned down by a 8 year old child. I mean that in itself is a huge achievement.
As one would expect from a little child, book has various superhero tales with beautiful innocent pictures. Simba is a strong character who can lift heavy weights and can fly. His encounter with various villains in the form of aliens or enormously built creatures is very well summed up. A must read for all.

Review
I just finished reading the book Simba capeman which is written by an 8-year-old boy and I couldn't believe that at first but after reading this book I can say he has an amazing talent in him as he has done an amazing work only an experienced writer could do but he proved wrong and wrote such a fascinating story which is very cool in reading.
This book gave me a flashback of the comics series I had watched once in my childhood it was Shaktiman as the hero of the book also have the same traits as saktiman have and I truly got mesmerized with the story.
The story has been presented very beautifully in the book with the painting and it gives a real feeling that it is happening, it's like I was watching an animation movie which nowadays runs on television with a hero who saves his planet from bad energy and people and Simba Capeman is also like that with full of energy and with Amazing superpowers.
This book will be a very good companion to the young readers who loves to read comics and it will make them a fan of the Simba Capeman.
The language of the book is very easy to read and understand and it is a fascinating book.
I loved the book and will recommend to the readers who love comics and also for those who love to read a graphic novel.
If you have kids in your family who reads then you can give them this book as they will love it a world of Simba Capeman.

Omg what a book , the author of this is only 8years old and his imagination is far from great . I can't even write 1poem properly and here is this boy who wrote a full book based on his imagination.
Throughout his imagination , kavan wants to save our very best planet earth frm evils nd villains . Simbe capeman is our hero who lives on the outskirts of Lair City. He always sits on top of his cave and guards our planet.
He has a third eye , he see everything, hears everything , bold as lion , fly like a bird and he wants the very best for planet earth. There are many villains in the story who was killed by simba . Even professor zogalogist tried to kill simba so he can become the hero , but his intention is wrong and later was arrested by police.
My view-
This book is very amazing for children. The language is simple , it's a comic book and has very interesting pictures in it. The more amazing thing is children can learn many things frm this book . It has Crosswords,puzzle to solve which makes it more interesting. The cover is also very mesmerizing.

"Simba Capeman" came as a pleasant surprise to me. In an era in which the kids are fascinated by Marvel and DC superheroes, a young and inquisitive, 9 y/o, author Kavan Kislaya bringing a fresh superhero especially capturing the childish imagination, is quite a thing in itself.
Lair city is surrounded by some serious threats. Be it the super villains from within the city or the celestial beings, Lair city, and the Earth as a whole is in grave danger. Who, then, will save the day? Simba Capeman!! A young and fearless super hero with the powers and valour of a lion, Simba Capeman is someone is loved by the city dwellers and is also hated by the super villains. Be it the Man of Fire, or, the Man of Doom, Simba Capeman has vowed to defend his city at any cost. Will he be successful in keeping his vows or will the evils' conspiracies overpower him? What would be the fate of the Lair City? Let Simba Capeman answer your questions.
Being a fan of comics and illustrated story books since childhood, I found this book quite impressive, given the fact that it's written by a school going kid. The book has a fresh feel to itself yet it makes me nostalgic reminding me of my childhood days when we were immersed in the world of Nagraj, Shaktimaan and much more. This book is sure to appeal to the budding little readers and also the action sequences are quite appealing.
If we talk about the things behind the scenes, a 9 y/o author writing a book has a much deeper meaning in itself. Writing, as a profession in our country, is, in most cases, not the first choice of either parents or children. But, one Kavan Kislaya putting down his imagination into a book can motivate many young hearts to enhance their creativity. It shows us how important is the motivation provided to the children by their parents and teachers, at such a young age. Children are always curious and have better capacity of imagination than the adults. If we, as readers, as parents, as teachers, can support and channelize their inner creativity in the right direction, rather than forcing our will upon them, we might see many top notch young authors in a very near future. ❤️

Simba Capeman is the Protagonist
Infact he is worlds greastest superhero having super power thr meditation.
His Goals are to be very best for planet earth.
His skills are
HE Sees everything , hears everything and it is said he has third eye.
He is as bold as Lion, He has lion heart blood and Heart. He fly like bird and can lift the heaviest of weights.
Simba Capeman is Vigilant and protecting the planet earth from all the evils.
The other side of tehe story
There are some bad people Like Evilo who want to take revenge because simba has turned there plans.
There are attacks on cities with some wierd creatures like
Moth Munchers
Professor and scientist Zogalogist who worked at Science university but become evil
Then there is also shown another planet called Khulado, where Zanoman and fangman always fight with each other
zanoman are goodman and fangman are badman who scared the animals with his long fangs and want to rule khulado and lair city.
but simba along with zanoman turned down this evil plan.
There is one story from another planet (Nchi-Moto) where Man of Fire who inherited ancient fire sword which enchanted to invade earth.
but the king had made one agreement that if the fire sword chose planet earth for invasion, the king would give planet earth a pardon,
if someone passed a difficult test.
then he was help preserve planet earth.
now the fire sword chosen earth and who would do the test ?
of course it is simba capeman
but the test is very difficult and it is not easy for simba to save the earth from fire sword.
will he pass this test and save earth ?
who help him in this mission ?
it is intresting story to read.
What is good in the book ?
The use of pictures and good quality of glossy paper encourage the reading habits between childrens
short chapters so one can finish it in one seating.
the puzzles in between end of the chapters.

Can you just imagine that this book was written by an eight-year old child? The comic element throughout the book startled me. With such perfection and excellency, I must encourage the light emerging from the little kid and WHYYY NOTT?

And here, it signifies the illusion of the constant turmoil between good and evil.The mere sight of the book cover gave me a SUPERHERO-feel. The bob of the pendulum runs to and fro between the two extremes throughout. The author has beautifully thrown a light on attacks,conquests and power through fictional characters. Through Professor Zogalogist, the theme of change in perspectives and change in the way people perceive things at a sudden point of time is observed and how a change can bring the world upside down.

A unique thing about this story is that it tends to use real places rather than fictional ones.The book shows normal days of superhuman beings- day begins with savings the world from the deadliest Villains,but ends like that of normal people.Simba Capeman like to drink hot chocolates,like to take a break,even though he his Superhero.
The use of pictures,puzzles made the book more interesting which will grasp much more attention of every child.
It is a good book read.It makes me really astonishing how a small child like Kavya has so much potential and talent to write such a good book at this young age.

It is unbelievable and very rare to see such a young author writing stories for the young audience. Every little one should have this one in the library.
As the title suggests the story is about a superhero named Simba and his only aim is to save the planet Earth from all the evil. He fights all the villains and achieves his aim. The little author has beautiful portrayed the story of attacks, fights and defeats. The characterization is done so extraordinarily. The book cover and the glossy pages give a superhero vibe and succeed the motive of making the book even more attractive and creates a want to read it. The graphics and photos play even a bigger role as it is a children's book.

Before going to the review section I have to tell about the author, this book was written by just 8 years old child but the book doesn't like that it was such a great one for our little readers.
We have to encourage that excellent child and also I want to thank for his parents who will be helpful for him. Kavan mentioned Simba is the super hero but I'm very glad to say this extraordinary child also super hero.

Simply Awesome
First things first..It is a matter of fact that it was written by an 8 year old author. And believe me, this whole super-
hero book is the world of its author Kavan Kislaya's imagination. Simba Capeman is a superhero whose aim is to safeguard
earth by fighting villains. He lives in the outskirt of Lair City and keeps a watch around all the time.
There were many interesting characters created by Kavan, but the most impressive one for me is Simba alone. Though there
are other characters like Professor Zogalogist, king of khulado, man of doom, fang man, robert stonematic 2000, and also
the strong character like Evilo, the way the author constructed the plot around Simba is simply appreciable. The
illustrations too were well produced, and the thick paper quality made this book best suitable for child readers.

Simba Capeman is a graphic book written by Kavan Kislaya. It is a children's book written by a 9 year old boy and it's a pleasure to read something coming from a fresh mind. When I was small (I'm not old though) I always read and buy the book which has the best graphics and photos. This was the main point of buying books.
The graphics in the book are magical and you feel a certain kind of power when you come across a mind being imaginative and writing the best of what it can. It is a story of the superhero Simba who saves the city from various villians. The character of Simba is well portrayed, it is how we perceive a hero.
In between, sudoku and wordsearch are ome notch above. I loved reading the book and looking at all the graphics, sometimes you miss doing these things. The writing style is simple and edited very well, I hope that the other parts and books come soon. I just adore and bless the author to write more. It is recommended to all the childrens.

Kavan Kislaya the author of the book is a young boy, just 8 year old. It feels amazing to read a book of such little man, written with passion.
As readers it's our duty to encourage such excellent child and appreciate the support of his parents who have always been helpful for him.
Kavana wrote a book based on Simba Capeman- a superhero. In real world, he's a hero himself.
Now let's talk about the book review- the content of the book is amazing. In the end good wins over bad. The colorful book triggers the young readers to read this. Interesting graphics and pictures made the book so attractive and unputdownable. As the title suggests, Simba capeman is the super hero in the book who fights with super villains and protect the earth and his own Lair City. I absolutely enjoyed the book.

Fiction are always a subject of interest almost all people. The heroes will be their favourite, if they can do superhuman things.
They are mostly loved by kids, for they have more entry in kids, than in adult lives. But still there are adults who loves them.
Here the interest is that, kids will fall in love with Simba, because the story teller is thier peer. A book authored by an 8 year old kid. That caught my attraction.
Simba is a strong character who can lift heavy weights and can fly. The author takes the reader to a superhuman world. Where his imagination outstand our reality.
Simba, strong as a lion, brave, wise, a typical hero, will ofcourse loved by kids. I recommend this to all kids, and adults who love fiction.
